I thought this would be one of the easier EPL DFS slates of the season since we have four games and a lot of the top sides to choose from. I was wrong. With so many of the top teams involved, anyone who has played with any consistency of late is either quite expensive or has a very tough matchup. I usually gravitate towards mid-priced players with a high floor, especially in the midfield, but they just don’t exist in this slate. The good news is with so many teams rotating players late in the season, we could unearth some gems once lineups are announced. With that in mind, this may be a good time to go stars-and-scrubs, especially in GPP’s.

Alex McCarthySOULEE46005.3198.86
I think Southampton is a better bet for a win at home than the oddsmakers do, but McCarthy really makes this list because Leeds are sixth in saves allowed. Southampton has had at least three saves in seven of its last nine games.
Kasper SchmeichelLEICHE42006.95810.81
Chelsea are second in the league in saves against and eighth in goals scored. Schmeichel got a win and a clean sheet against Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday, and while I don't necessarily expect a repeat, I think he could get a handful of saves at a discount.
Dean HendersonMUNFUL58009.431314.96
Fulham is 19th in the league in goals but 12th in opponents' saves. Henderson could actually pick up a couple of saves in addition to the expected win and clean sheet.
Alphonse AreolaFULMUN37006.0779.73
He has at least three saves in four consecutive games, but this is mostly just a bet against Manchester United. They are playing their fifth game in 12 days, and I think there is a decent chance that results in fewer chances or poor finishing. At such a low price, we really don't need a whole lot for this to work out.

Sergio AgueroMCIBHA68006.11169.62
He is awfully cheap for someone who is +130 to score a goal in this game. In what is likely his penultimate game, he will probably be on penalties. Aguero has an attacking return in three of his last four starts, with two shots on goal in each of those games.
Alireza JahanbakhshBHAMCI39003.1273.14
Jahanbakhsh should start up front with Neil Maupay suspended. While he would probably send in more crosses as a winger, which is where he lined up against Wolves, he should be more of an attacking threat from this position. He is a nice enabler, especially considering his forward eligibility on DK.
RaphinhaLEESOU880014.951619.30
He has assists in both games since returning from a thigh injury, though he came off the bench in one of those games. We still haven't seen the high cross totals from before the injury, but I think they are coming. He averaged 7.6 crosses per game in the eight games before the injury.
Patrick BamfordLEESOU610010.751918.26
I thought about Danny Ings in this spot but their fppg is nearly identical and Bamford is much cheaper on DraftKings. Bamford is fifth in the league in goals scored and third in shots on goal. Only West Brom have conceded more goals than Southampton this season.
Mason GreenwoodMUNFUL78007.82179.98
Greenwood had three shots in 27 minutes against Liverpool Thursday. It was his sixth time in eight games with at least three shots. For the second consecutive season, Greenwood has been the safest United attacker down the stretch. With five goals in his last five starts, it will be hard to fade Greenwood, especially on FanDuel.

Pascal GrossBHAMCI710011.711313.60
Gross is coming off his worst game in over two months, and now he faces the best team in the league. That being said, he is awfully cheap on both sites considering his past production and he is is likely on penalties with Neal Maupay suspended.
James MaddisonLEICHE750014.061516.51
Maddison isn't sending in nearly as many crosses since returning from a hip injury, but he does have 17 shots and nine chances created in his four starts. I just think he is too good to cost so little, even in a tough matchup.
Fabio CarvalhoFULMUN34009.621419.10
I don't want to overrate him because he scored a goal in his first professional start, but the three shots on goal and one chance created against Southampton were equally impressive.
Defenders

Kenny TeteFULMUN40007.09811.64
He is awfully cheap for someone who is averaging 9.0 DK fantasy points in his last four games. With Antonee Robinson out, Tete should be a good bet to play all 90 minutes, and send in a couple of crosses if Fulham is able to get forward at all.
Ezgjan AlioskiLEESOU44005.991210.96
He has at least two crosses in three straight games and four of his last five. Only West Brom have conceded more goals than Southampton this season, and Leeds should have plenty of chances to get forward.
Luke ShawMUNFUL550011.121215.69
I kind of hope he doesn't start, because Alex Telles is cheaper and has been almost as good for fantasy. That being said, Shaw has 35 crosses and 17 chances created in his last four games, and is a great play on both sites. That being said, she is probably safer on DraftKings.
Jan BednarekSOULEE28004.131113.05
Prior to suffering an injury against Crystal Palace, Bednarek had at least 11.7 FD fantasy points in seven of his last nine games. Leeds have allowed more clearances than any team on the slate, and Bednarek is a safe play on FanDuel.
Adam WebsterBHAMCI27004.67711.23
I'm not sure why he is so cheap on Fanduel. He has at least five clearances in each of his last two games, and he had six in the reverse fixture in January.
