J. Crowder - SF
Jae Crowder shot 0-of-6 from three in Friday’s loss to the Celtics, finishing with 14 points (5-of-12 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, three assists and one block in 33 minutes.
Crowder had a good night inside of the arc, making five of his six attempts, but he was ice-cold from deep. After going 5-of-9 from deep in Game 1 he’s struggled, shooting a combined 6-of-33 in the four games since (1-of-13 in Games 4 and 5). Crowder is capable of being a solid points and 3-pointers option, but he’s in a bit of a funk right now.

K. Nunn - SG
Kendrick Nunn and Meyers Leonard did not play at all in Friday's Game 5 loss to the Celtics.
Nunn, who joined the team in the bubble late after coming down with COVID-19 and had to leave during the postseason to attend to a personal matter, has not been much of a factor in Orlando. While he was a finalist for Rookie of the Year, the time away from the team has resulted in Nunn being passed by fellow rookie Tyler Herro in the Heat's perimeter pecking order. As for Leonard, he's pretty much been out of the rotation since the team arrived in Orlando, so his picking up another DNP-CD comes as no surprise.

R. Williams - C
Robert Williams did not see any action during Friday's win over the Heat.
Williams, who jumped Enes Kanter in the rotation during the second-round series against Toronto, has not played at all after getting a total of 23 minutes in the first two games against Miami. Kanter, who has taken back the backup center role from Williams, contributed eight points and four rebounds in 10 minutes off the bench Friday night.

J. Butler - SF
Jimmy Butler accounted for 17 points (5-of-11 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 36 minutes Friday vs. the Celtics.
Butler was a bit more aggressive offensively at the start of Game 5 than he’s been in prior games this series, but he went quiet at the wrong time as Boston turned things around in the third quarter. During that period Miami’s leader shot 1-of-4 from the field, and as a team the Heat were outscored by a 41-25 margin in the frame. Butler likes to pick his spots from a scoring standpoint, but he may need to be aggressive throughout the entire game if the Heat are to close out the Celtics on Sunday.

D. Robinson - SF
Duncan Robinson shot 3-of-11 from three in Friday’s loss to Boston, putting up 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes.
Robinson got off to a good start Friday, scoring 12 points in the first quarter with two 3-pointers. But he was largely quiet for the remainder of the night, as Boston did a better job of challenging the Heat sharpshooter’s attempts. It’s worth noting that the 11 3-point attempts are just one less than Robinson’s total in the prior two games combined. The 20 points represent a series-high for Robinson, who scored 18 on 6-of-12 shooting from three in Game 2.
Added Yesterday 11:32 pm (EST)
D. Theis - C
Daniel Theis posted his first double-double fo the Eastern Conference Finals Friday, finishing the Game 5 win over Miami with 15 points (6-of-10 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 35 minutes.
Theis was impactful on both ends of the floor in a game the Celtics had to win in order to keep their season alive, chipping in where needed offensively while also taking care of business as a rebounder and shot-blocker. Game 5 was the first in this series in which Theis hit double digits in both points and rebounds, and the Celtics will need a similar effort from him in Game 6. Enes Kanter added eight points, four rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes off the bench, as those two handled the majority of the minutes at the center position.
Added Yesterday 11:28 pm (EST)
J. Brown - SG
Jaylen Brown played 39 minutes in Friday’s win over the Heat, tallying 28 points (12-of-23 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.
After being limited to 17 points in Boston’s Game 1 loss, Brown has now scored 21 or more in each of the last four. He’s been arguably the Celtics’ most consistent scorer in this series, and that’s one reason why they remain alive. Looking ahead to next season Brown may not be a first-round pick in standard formats, but he shouldn’t be far off that status.
Added Yesterday 11:24 pm (EST)
G. Dragic - PG
Goran Dragic finished Friday’s loss to the Celtics with 23 points (8-of-17 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.
Dragic’s night came to a premature end when he was called for what some viewed to be a questionable offensive foul with just under four minutes remaining. While the point and assist totals were solid, he shot just 1-of-7 from beyond the arc and also turned the ball over four times. Dragic has now scored 23 points or more in three of the five games this series, so he should be good to at least threaten the 20-point mark in Sunday’s Game 6.
