Point Guard

RANKNAMETeam# of GamesAnalysis
1Stephen Curry GSW4With the full slate of games, Curry takes the top spot. The Warriors already look like they miss Klay Thompson as D'Angelo Russell looks to fill in as best as he can. Curry is far and away the top option.
2Russell Westbrook HOU4Even playing with James Harden , Westbrook will still produce at a high level. He'll be sure to log a lot of minutes as the Rockets continue to lack depth. His scoring and assists will carry fantasy owners.
3Malcolm Brogdon IND4Brogdon already looks like he's a strong fit for the Pacers and until Victor Oladipo returns, he's the top scoring options. Other players in the backcourt are already banged up and that benefits Brogdon.
4Mike Conley UT4It's going to be a period of adjustment for Conley and if his shot isn't falling, unlike in Memphis in which other scoring options were limited, the Jazz have plenty of scorers. Assists will be plentiful.
5De'Aaron Fox SAC4Fox didn't have the best start to the season, especially in his debut when foul trouble just crushed his production. The Kings backcourt will need to produce more with Marvin Bagley III out.
6Damian Lillard POR3Lillard will provide a ton of scoring and assists for fantasy players as he has a vey rugged big man in Hassan Whiteside to constantly feed and more scoring options on the wing. He is the top option.
7Kyrie Irving BKN3Irving has shown that even though he's on a new team, he's still the same ball-dominant guard and when the game is on the line, he will be the only player featured with a constant green light to shoot.
8Ben Simmons  PHI3Simmons is a stat-stuffer and he's a very tenacious driver and he'll fight for boards in the lane and at the elbow. He has other shooters to feed which will help with assists. He's the Sixers main facilitator.
9Luka Doncic DAL3Having Kristaps Porzingis in the lineup has already paid off for Doncic. Doncic is the Mavs top scoring option and he's been able to drive the lane with ease. Expect consistent multi-category production.
10Trae Young ATL3Even though the Hawks have more options, expect Young to continue to take a high volume of shots. He'll still run the offense and plays, but expect a good amount of isolation in the Hawks offense.
11Jamal Murray DEN4Murray will have games in which he'll produce a good amount of assists and others in which he just focuses on scoring and playing more off the ball. He is a prioritized scorer on a very deep team.
12Dejounte Murray SAS4Murray has already shown his worth with strong commitment on both sides of the ball and he'll keep the Spurs offense running at a fast pace and he'll help with steals on the other side of the ball.
13Eric Bledsoe MIL4Bledsoe is healthy and doesn't seem to have limitations from his rib injury he suffered a few weeks ago. Even though Bledsoe is the fourth scoring option, he'll get enough shots to average double figures.
14Kyle Lowry TOR3Lowry is the Raptors top scorer and facilitator and with the dangerous Pascal Siakam slicing defenses, it'll keep his assist-total high each game. He'll get a good chunk of shots in each game as well.
15Derrick Rose DET4With Reggie Jackson banged up and very likely to miss games this week and with Blake Griffin also on the shelf, Rose will get more time with the ball and certainly more shots.
16Elfrid Payton NY4The Knicks point guard situation is currently a mess, but it seems to work best when Payton is on the floor. He's known more for assists and steals along with his speed, but he's been hitting three's as well.
17Collin Sexton CLE4Sexton has been able to get a good amount of shots and time with the ball. He's currently the Cavs second scoring option behind Kevin Love . The Cavs have a lot of raw players in the post and he'll be relied on.
18Coby White CHI4Tomas Satoransky and Kris Dunn have experience on their side, but White's aggresivness is being displayed early on and he's been making a difference on both sides of the ball and getting rewarded for it.
19D.J. Augustin ORL4Augustin will be in a constant battle for minutes against Markelle Fultz and if Fultz continues to show his ability to drive the lane with strength, it could cost Augustin minutes. For now, it's still Augustin's spot.
20Patrick Beverley LAC4Beverley will stay on the court because of his scrappy play. Expect steals and long-rebounds to go along with a good amount of minutes. Scoring will be up and down depending on the strength of the opposition.

Shooting Guard

RANKNAMETeam# of GamesAnalysis
1James Harden HOU4Westbrook will not pose a threat to Harden's production because the Rockets don't have many reliable scorers. They full invested in their backcourt and that is where most of their production will come from.
2Khris Middleton MIL4Middleton continues to read screens nicely, picking right up from where he left off last season. He'll get a lot of shots from the top of the key and he'll also help keep plays alive as the Bucks second option.
3Donovan Mitchell UT4Mitchell's production hasn't been hindered by Conley just yet. It's clear that he's stil lthe top dog when it comes to the Jazz shooters despite how much they paid for Bojan Bogdanovic
4DeMar DeRozan SAS4Having Murray back in the lineup will benefit DeRozan a bit more because teams will have to close down the lane for both Murray and LaMarcus Aldridge . DeRozan will play stellar defense and grab boards & steals.
5Zach LaVine CHI4LaVine is the prioritized scorer for the Bulls and even with the team healthy and deeper this season, he'll not only get the most shots, but he'll get a good amount of time with the ball to contribute dimes.
6RJ Barrett NY4Barrett has been a biright spot for the Knicks early on. He fights for boards in the lane, drives with force, takes good shots and he'll have time as the playmaker as well. He's a multi-category producer early.
7Buddy Hield SAC4The Kings guards will need to handle the bulk of the scoring and after giving Hield a massive contract extension, expect him to be a major part of the offense as a top option. He'll help out defensively as well.
8D'Angelo Russell GSW4Russell will continue to toggle between both guard spots, especially when Curry needs a breather. Scoring will be the bigger part of Russell's production over assists. Expect him to help with steals as well.
9Lou Williams LAC4Williams will be needed to produce more and he'll get more time with the ball until Paul George returns. He'll lead the Clippers second unit and get extended minutes. He'll help with scoring, dimes and steals.
10Devin Booker PHX3Ricky Rubio is already a little banged up and with Deandre Ayton currently suspended, Booker will be not only taking even more shots than anticipated, but he'll also get time running the point.
11Jimmy Butler MIA3Butler hasn't made his regular-season debut for the Heat yet, but he should be able to make it back for his three games this week. His child was born and he was with his family.
12Gary Harris DEN4Harris will stay on the court longer because of his perimeter defense and while he'll be utilized on offense as mainly a bailout three-point shooter, he'll also grab long boards and steals.
13CJ McCollum POR3McCollum will continue being the second shooting option and with Whiteside setting screens at the elbow, McCollum should see a lot of high-percentage shots right outside the painted area.
14Evan Fournier ORL4Fournier makes the list because of the full slate and he'll still get not only a good chunk of shots, but he'll also serve as faciliator a decent amount as Orlando continues to figure out how to best utilize their PG's.
15Jeremy Lamb IND4INJ: Lamb is dealing with a minor Hip injury and there's a a chance that the Pacers will be without him for the first of their full slate of games this week.
16Jrue Holiday NO3INJ: Holiday is dealing with a minor Knee injury that cost him his last game. He may not make it on the court for his first game of the week.
17Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OKC3Gilgeous-Alexander has already shown his potential and all that he can do for the Thunder. He'll help with scoring and he'll fight for long rebounds. Expect help with steals on the defensive side of the ball.
18Caris LeVert BKN3LeVert will continue to get a healthy dose of long-range jumpers and their will never be a shortage of minutes for him. When his shot is off, expect him to adjust and work to get closer to the basket.
19Josh Richardson PHI3Richardson has clearly moved down the priority list when it comes to scoring on this Sixers team, but if Embiid has to sit for another game, it will only benefit Richardson by giving him more time with the ball.
20Bradley Beal WSH2Beal would be much higher on this list, but he drew the short slate for the week. The Wizards don't have many options and he will continue to get a very high volume of shots and playing time.

Small Forward

RANKNAMETeam# of GamesAnalysis
1Kawhi Leonard LAC4When George returns it'll be interesting to see how he and Leonard play when on the court together. They are very similar players. For now, Leonard remains far and away the top all-around option.
2LeBron James LAL3Frank Vogel needs to let James run the point this season. The Lakers are already looking like they are going abandoning their plans for James as a PG and he'll stay at SF. Still expect assist-production.
3Tobias Harris PHI3Harris will continue to be the main beneficiary when it comes to prioritized shooters if Embiid needs to miss more time. Harris will take a good amount of long-range shots, but he's a known slasher
4Brandon Ingram NO3Ingram has had a very strong start to the season offensively. Between the injury to Zion Williamson and Holiday being banged up, Ingram has taken full advantage and he's been getting in the lane with ease.
5Bojan Bogdanovic UT4Bogdanovic has been able to get a good amount of shots despite being on a team with a lot of other scoring weapons. He'll mainly focus on shifting around the arc to get open from long-range.
6Otto Porter Jr. CHI4It hasn't been a smooth start for Porter and the Bulls will plan on limiting his minutes to keep him healthy. Hopefully, he shakes off the first week struggles and starts hitting more shots from the arc.
7Bogdan Bogdanovic SAC4Bogdanovic will be more involved in the offense because of the blow the Kings took losing Bagley. Bogdanovic will mainly stick to three-point shooting, but he does have sneaky driving ability.
8Rudy Gay  SAS4Gay doesn't need a lot of minutes to put up points and boards. He utilizes his mid-range and post-game very nicely. He's able to hit set shots and turnaround jumpers and his spot is secure in the Spurs rotation.
9Ersan Ilyasova MIL4Ilyasova has been utilized early and he's been producing on both sides of the ball. He'll get a lot of high-percentage mid-range jumpers because defenses will put more pressure on Giannis Antetokounmpo
10Will Barton DEN4Barton will continue to be a good slasher and he'll draw a lot of contact throughout the season. He also has a defensive mindset and will always look to keep plays alive and he'll help with steals.
11Kevin Knox NY4After struggling in pre-season, Knox has been a good scorer off the bench as the Knicks look for consistent scorers outside of the paint. Knox has been hitting long-range shots even though he's more of a slasher.
12Joe Ingles UT4Ingles will still find ways to get minutes. He'll draw some starts, but it'll be his defense that keeps him in games, especially when games are close. Besides hitting three-pointers, he'll help with long boards and steals.
13Jonathan Isaac ORL4Isaac will get more minutes as the season continues and he'll attack the basket once he gets the screen at the elbow. He's not a prioritized shooter, but now that he's healthy, the Magic will give him more run.
14Danilo Gallinari OKC3Gallinari will be the second scoring option for the Thunder in a role that he's very familiar with from his days with the Clippers. Gallinari will look to draw out bigger defenders to guard him. Expect help w/ boards.
15Kelly Oubre Jr. PHX3Oubre will be prioritized even more with Ayton currently suspended and he's already shown his growth as a player. He'll serve as the Suns second scoring option and help a good amount with steals.
16Maurice Harkless LAC4Harkless will earn his minutes for his defense more than for his offense. On offense he will mainly serve as a bailout scoring option. He'll grab a couple of long boards, but it's the steals that will help with production.
17Cedi Osman CLE4This could very well be Osman's last time in these rankings. He has the full slate and after a strong pre-season, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that shots will fall and he'll help grab a few rebounds.
18Taurean Prince BKN3Prince will get a lot of run with the Nets not having much SF depth to match up with bigger forwards in the league. Prince is aggressive, he'll sacrifice his body on both ends of the floor and he'll hit long-range shots.
19OG Anunoby TOR3Anunoby is known more for his defense, but his first-week offense was very impressive. He's fighting more in the lane and leaving Norman Powell with a limited role. Expect help with boards and steals.
20Rodney Hood POR3Hood is a good long-range shooter and perimeter defender. He's good at reading screens and he'll produce a good amount of steals as long as he stays healthy. He'll split minutes with Kent Bazemore

Power Forward

RANKNAMETeam# of GamesAnalysis
1Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL4Expect Antetokounmpo to be in contention to be fantasy producer for the week with a full slate. He's one of the hardest players to stop once he hits the lane even if teams put multiple defenders on him.
2Kevin Love CLE4Love has shown that when he's healthy and can stay on the court, he can be a strong multi-category producer. Fantasy owners will have to hold their breath each week with Love because he's fragile.
3LaMarcus Aldridge SAS4Aldridge is still needed to play both at the elbow and in the post. Jakob Poeltl is just not impactful enough. Expect the Spurs to play him at Center a good amount and move Gay up to the PF spot.
4Julius Randle NY4Randle will be the Knicks top scoring weapon and he makes getting in the lane look easy. It's hard boxing him out and he'll be a monster on the glass. He does have a long-range game but is more needed inside.
5Draymond Green GSW4Green will have to continue toggling between PF and C until Willie Cauley-Stein and Kevon Looney are fully healthy again but he's used to that. Scoring should be viewed as a bonus. He'll produce boards and steals.
6Myles Turner IND4Now that Domantas Sabonis has a new contract, the Pacers will look to play both Turner and Sabonis on the court together with Turner focusing more on the perimeter. He'll still grab a good amount of boards inside.
7Lauri Markkanen CHI4Markkanen had an up and down first week of the season and with Wendell Carter Jr. back in the fold, the Bulls clearly want Markkanen focusing on his play at the arc and that may hinder his production on the glass.
8Anthony Davis LAL3Davis has been able to stay healthy for the first part of the season and he's played very aggresively in the post. He is also a long-range scoring threat and will grab a ton of boards and blocks.
9Pascal Siakam TOR3Siakam has exploded to start the season with deep multi-category production. He's also one of the hardest players to stop once he hits the lane and it's to the point where Marc Gasol stays out of the paint.
10Montrezl Harrell LAC4Harrell doesn't need to start in order to produce. He's a tad raw on the offensive side and most of his scoring will come from right under the basket, but he'll help out a ton with rebounds and steals in the lane.
11Aaron Gordon ORL4Gordon will see plays called for him both at the arc and in the lane. Gordon should focus on attacking the lane a bit more as he's a strong driver with good ups and he can draw a lot of contact. He'll grab boards too.
12Harrison Barnes SAC4Barnes will completely benefit with Bagley out. This comes after reports circulated that the Kings thought they paid too much for Barnes. He'll now get more playing time, shots and he'll grab boards and steals.
13P.J. Tucker HOU4Tucker's role is completely secure because the Rockets lack depth defensively and Tucker will provide a ton of help on the perimeter. He'll also draw out bigger defenders and hit long-range jumpers.
14Paul Millsap DEN4Millsap has the edge over new teammate Jerami Grant and he'll set up both in the post and at the arc. He'll also help production on the glass and he'll grab steals off of loose balls in the lane.
15Larry Nance Jr. CLE4Nance has shown improvements early on with his shooting range. His game will still be banging in the low post for boards and put-backs, but being able to hit three-pointers will give him more plays in the offense.
16Kristaps Porzingis DAL3Porzingis has been taking complete advantage of using his incredible size to cut in the lane with ease. He and Doncic have a clear connection that will benefit the both of them. He needs to rebound more!
17John Collins ATL3Collins will be a multi-category producer and the Hawks second prioritized scorer. He's been a shot-blocking machine thus far and even when his scoring numbers are a bit light, he'll make up for it with boards.
18Al Horford PHI3Horford will get playing time at both PF and C this season and Embiid is dealing with an Ankle injury and that will only benefit Horford. He does have a three-point shot that he will continue to utilize in Philly.
19Justise Winslow MIA3Winslow will play multiple positions for the Heat. He'll switch between both forward spots and the Heat lack depth at PF and he'll also get some time to run the point with the second unit. Expect help with dimes.
20P.J. Washington CHA3The preseason darling Washington showed in the first game of the season that he's clearly a long-range shooting threat and then in the next game showed that he can also bang down low and help grab boards.

Center

RANKNAMETeam# of GamesAnalysis
1Andre Drummond DET4Drummond will be the prioritized scorer for the Pistons with Griffin hurt. He will get fed a ton inside and he's the hardest player in the league to box out and that will result in a high volume of boards most nights.
2Nikola Jokic DEN4Jokic is on a deep Nuggets team but it shouldn't hinder his production as he's still the top option and he'll even get time to run plays. Expect him to hit shots from all over the court and be a multi-category producer.
3Nikola Vucevic ORL4Vucevic is the Magic's top scoring option and he'll even hit shots from long-range. He's very aggressive when it comes to securing boards in the post and giving the Magic second chance scoring opportunities.
4Rudy Gobert UT4Gobert's scoring will improve throughout the season. When other players are hitting from the arc, the Jazz will continue to feed those players but Gobert will always save face with boards and blocks.
5Domantas Sabonis IND4Sabonis now knows he'll be with the Pacers after getting a new contract and he'll be utilized primarily in the lane while Turner handles drawing out bigger defenders. Expect a lot of boards and Sabonis can hit jumpers.
6Clint Capela HOU4Capela is the Rockets main inside weapon and should be viewed as the third prioritized scorer for the team. Tyson Chandler will take a few minutes away but he's more of a one-way player and Capela's offense is needed.
7Tristan Thompson CLE4Thompson is very raw offensively but he'll still produce from right under the basket. He fights very hard for boards and he knows his role while Love and Nance will look to spread the floor.
8Brook Lopez MIL4Lopez ability to hit long-range jumpers makes him the Bucks third scoring option but while Lopez owners will benefit from his scoring, they will need back ups to help with their rebounding totals.
9Mitchell Robinson NY4Robinson is excellent at blocking shots and cutting inside, but he needs to stay out of foul trouble and the Knicks have plenty of other options to turn to if Robinson can't stay on the court.
10Wendell Carter Jr. CHI4Carter will be a nice compliment as a banger to Markkanen who has already shown that he'll be spending more time at the arc this season. Carter will get plenty of minutes as the Bulls don't have many options at Center.
11Joel Embiid PHI3INJ: Embiid missed his previous game with a sprained Ankle. There's a chance he'll have to miss his first game of the week if the pain doesn't subside.
12Hassan Whiteside POR3Whiteside already looks happier in Portland than Miami and he doesn't need a ton of minutes in order to be productive and he'll grab a high volume of boards, help with blocks and drive the lane with force.
13Bam Adebayo MIA3Whiteside's Miami replacement Adebayo is completely living up to expectations and because the Heat lack toughness in the low post, expect Adebayo to play heavy minutes throughout the season.
14Cody Zeller CHA3Zeller has two double-doubles to start the season and despite already sitting a game, when he's healthy, he'll get a good amount of playing time because he doesn't have much competition at the position.
15Karl-Anthony Towns MIN2Towns would be much higher on this list if he did have the full slate. It's been business as usual for Towns to start the season and having Robert Covington back in the lineup will allow Towns to play more in the post.
16Steven Adams OKC3Adams has struggled scoring thus far, but it's very early and owners shouldn't be alarmed. He's still been rewarding owners by grabbing plenty of boards. Even if Nerlens Noel is more involved, it won't hinder Adams.
17Jarrett Allen BKN3Allen and DeAndre Jordan will split time throughout the season, but they are 10 years apart when it comes to age and Jordan already looks frustated. Allen will help a ton with boards and blocks. View scoring as a bonus.
18Aron Baynes PHX3Baynes will be getting a lot more minutes than originally anticipated because of the Ayton suspension. He'll get a decent amount of long-range shots, and he'll grab boards on defense. Ayton is appealing the suspension.
19Dwight Howard LAL3Howard's numbers will be up and down all year, but he should be able to save face with his rebounding and shot-blocking. The Lakers will shift Davis to center at times and JaVale McGee is also a factor. Major timeshare.
20DeAndre Jordan BKN3Jordan is aging and as the Nets continue to figure out how to best utilize Allen and Jordan, they could shift more focus to Allen as the season continues. Jordan is raw offensively, but will help with boards and blocks.
