Point Guards
RANK | NAME | Team | # of Games | Analysis |
1 | Russell Westbrook | OKC | 4 | Westbrook keeps the top spot with the full slate and he continues to produce in all categories and keep his value very high. He doesn't score as much as he did last year, but his game is still all-around dominant. |
2 | Chris Paul | HOU | 4 | Even though Harden is back, Paul will still be involved in the Rockets scoring and his assist numbers should improve over the next few weeks and can focus more on being a floor general. |
3 | Stephen Curry | GSW | 3 | Curry is healthy and is moving with no issue on the court. His shooting motion is consistent and he's not limping around and he will continue to drive more this week. |
4 | Kemba Walker | CHA | 4 | Walker has been rumored to be made available in trades (like the rest of the Hornets) and shouldn't see a minutes drop, especially if he's auditioning for other teams. He continues to be the Hornets top option. |
5 | Damian Lillard | POR | 3 | Lillard's scoring will remain at a high level because the Blazers mid-court is inconsistent and outside of Jusuf Nurkic, they don't have too much of an inside game. Assists should remain a factor for him. |
6 | Dennis Schroder | ATL | 4 | Schroder moves up with the full slate and and even though he's on an awful team, he's the top option on that awful team and will still score, grab steals and dish assists. |
7 | Jeff Teague | MIN | 4 | Teague looks healthy and is playing full minutes and because of his ability to score from right inside the arc, he'll always be safe and secure with shots and will help with dimes and steals. |
8 | John Wall | WSH | 3 | Wall doesn't have the full slate, but he'll always look to drive over shoot and he'll score in the 20's a ton and help hit the cutter that can keep up with him and he'll grab loose balls and drive on the defensive end. |
9 | Kyle Lowry | TOR | 3 | Lowry will always be reliable in contributing scoring and assists and he'll even have plays in which he doesn't pass off at all and the Coaches continue to let him run his one man game. |
10 | Kyrie Irving | BOS | 3 | Irving will continue to play the Isaiah Thomas role from last season and owners can rely on him for high-scoring but the assists will continue to be up and down and owners should look for six to seven per game. |
11 | Dennis Smith Jr. | DAL | 4 | Dennis Smith Jr. has made a great impact being the Mavs consistent scoring PG. At times, he can be a little too scoring dependant, but he will follow his own shots nicely and help with boards and assists. |
12 | Rajon Rondo | NO | 4 | It'll always be the same story with Rondo. Expect boards and dimes and look at scoring as an added bonus. He'll hit off-balanced three's, but he mainly looks to hit his skilled frontcourt inside. |
13 | Eric Bledsoe | MIL | 3 | With Giannis Antetokounmpo hurting, Bledsoe will be able to get in a few more shots and will share top shooting responsibilities with Khris Middleton and as always, he'll grab steals on the other end. |
14 | Milos Teodosic | LAC | 4 | Teodosic is not a priority scorer, but he's a good floor general and passer. He'll contribute consistently with dimes and steals and will look to drive. His shooting is still a work in progress. |
15 | T.J. McConnell | PHI | 4 | McConnell's production has risen a ton over the last few weeks and he's been rewarded with more minutes. He helps with scoring, boards and steals and he's very scrappy and that always earns a player bonus minutes. |
16 | Isaiah Canaan | PHX | 4 | Canaan is healthy again and even if he doesn't start, he'll still be a top scorer with the Suns second unit and owners can expect him to play between 25-33 minutes per game moving forward. |
17 | Spencer Dinwiddie | BKN | 3 | Even with D'Angelo Russell back, Dinwiddie should still play full minutes while Russell gets back into rhythm and he's been so beneficial as a scorer and distributor that the Nets should consider starting him WITH Russell. |
18 | Darren Collison | IND | 3 | Collison's driving ability keeps him part of the Pacers offense and even though Victor Oladipo commands the ball a lot, it helps Collison's assist production. With Myles Turner hurting, he'll be more involved in the scoring. |
19 | Goran Dragic | MIA | 3 | His Knee is bruised and missed his previous game. Unsure of his status for the week, but it is possible that he spends one more game on the sidelines. He's currently QUESTIONABLE for Monday. |
20 | Kris Dunn | CHI | 4 | Dunn fell and injured parts of his face and has a Concussion and his symptoms haven't improved yet. His status for the week is very much up in the air. |
Shooting Guards
RANK | NAME | Team | # of Games | Analysis |
1 | James Harden | HOU | 4 | Harden's back and is already seeing significant minutes and he should be all set to play full minutes moving forward. Don't be surprised if the Rockets give him a game off this week to rest as he continues to recover from injury. |
2 | Devin Booker | PHX | 4 | Booker is a scoring machine and is by far the Suns top scoring option and most of the plays are set for him. He has the driving ability, but mostly scores off the pick and pop. He can be scoring dependant. |
3 | Lou Williams | LAC | 4 | Williams has been able to help out at both Guard spots and has played a huge role in the Clippers offense. He's scored a ton of points and helped out with boards and assists. He's excellent at producing from the corner. |
4 | Jrue Holiday | NO | 4 | The Pelicans big men command a ton of attention defensively and the opposition has to have three players surrounding the low block at all times. Holiday is left open from long and mid-range and he'll help w/ boards and dimes. |
5 | Victor Oladipo | IND | 3 | Oladipo moves down the rankings because of the lack of full slate, but his dominance continues and especially with Myles Turner sidelined, he's needed to take on even more of a shooting role and he'll provide assist help too. |
6 | Kent Bazemore | ATL | 4 | Bazemore has been shooting better and is starting to separate himself as the Hawks second shooting option and he's starting to work his way inside a bit more. Bazemore will grab long rebounds. |
7 | Eric Gordon | HOU | 4 | Expect Eric Gordon to still run the Rockets second unit and be a priority scorer. He'll provide help with boards and assists and he'll use his quickness to drive and keep the opposition running while he's on the court. |
8 | Andrew Wiggins | MIN | 4 | Wiggins is in a constant competition for shots, but he's still been able to play a factor. Owners could use more help in other areas as he's inconsistent in other categories. |

14 | Tyrone Wallace | LAC | 4 | Wallace has been consistently scoring in double figures and he's been a strong defensive presence for the Clippers. He gets blocks, boards and he's played consistently in the 30's. |
15 | Tyreke Evans | MEM | 3 | Evans continues to be one of the most durable players on the Grizzlies and he's one of a few players to help with multiple categories. Mike Conley is getting closer to returning, but is not ready yet. |
16 | Khris Middleton | MIL | 3 | Middleton will see more shots this week with The Greek Freak getting at least one game off and he'll grab long rebounds and hit from right inside the arc and of course his sweet spot from the top of he key. |
17 | Klay Thompson | GSW | 3 | Thompson will still be very involved in the Warriors offense with Curry at full strength. He's used as the Warriors primary bailout long-range shooting option and he'll get steals on the defensive end. |
18 | CJ McCollum | POR | 3 | McCollum will see a ton of shots as always because of the Blazers lack of depth at other positions. He'll mainly provide scoring for owners, but he'll also help with steals and some dimes as well. |
19 | Buddy Hield | SAC | 4 | Hield has been quietly producing more and he's been scoring in double figures consistently. Hield has also been doing a better job of dishing assists and grabbing boards and he's playing steadily in the mid 20's. |
20 | Zach LaVine | CHI | 4 | LaVine is getting his shooting groove back, but the Bulls are being very careful with how often he's used. If Kris Dunn misses more time, that could tack on a few more minutes for LaVine. He's still on minutes restriction. |
