SPOdrisamer Despaigne (R)KTWB. Lively$8,500
How wild can things get in KBO DFS? For starters, preferring the unpredictable Despaigne on a slate heads the list. Despaigne takes the mound on Sunday as the second-best favorite in Vegas (-148) with a 3.27 ERA, 1.48 FIP, and 1.00 WHIP through his first 11 innings. His 14:1 K:BB and 31.9 strikeout percentage make him a worthy target in GPP's and perhaps cash games as well for the risk-averse. As a sweetener, Samsung enters this contest with a 19.6 strikeout percentage, the second-worst team batting average (.230) in the KBO, and the ninth-ranked OPS (.662). If Despaigne throws at least six innings with 7-to-9 strikeouts he's worth the price.
SPDrew Rucinski (R)NCDS. Baek$9,200
Rucinski enters with one strong outing and a rough one so far in 2020 in the KBO. But, his Dinos represent the biggest favorite in this slate (-200) looking for a sweep against the SV Wyverns. Rucinski's 3.97 ERA and 1.59 WHIP could go down against his opponent who boasts the worst team average in the league (.221) and a 21.3 strikeout percentage. Key on Rucinski's 12 strikeouts in 11.1 innings this year and hope he cuts down the free passes for a solid night in DFS. Solid cash gameplay and possible GPP target as well since his price could scare owners off him.
SPEric Jokisch (L)KIWW. Cha$8,900
As well as Jokisch has pitched this year, he's opposed by a tough starter in Woo Chan Cha of the LG Twins. This game could come down to the bullpens but Jokisch's matching 0.82 ERA and WHIP cannot be overlooked along with his impressive 1.76 FIP through his first 11 innings with a robust 11:1 K:BB. Kiwoom enters this game as a -141 favorite.
SPMin Woo Kim (R)HANS. Lee$6,500
If looking for salary relief and a chance for a win, Kim of Hanwha could fit the bill. Lotte sends Seung Heon Lee to the mound. Lee only lasted two innings his first outing of 2020 giving up seven earned runs on seven hits and issued three walks. As for Kim, he's yet to factor in a decision but owns a 2.38 ERA, 4.54 FIP, and 0.71 WHIP over his first 11.2 innings this season with 13 strikeouts versus four walks. Think of Kim as a pivot with a little upside if his ERA does not migrate towards his FIP on Sunday.
SPAaron Brooks (R)KTWR. Alcantara$7,900
It's tough to go against the Doosan Bears but Brooks could pay off on Sunday. But he will need to improve on his last outing. Through two starts Brooks sports a 1.42 ERA, 1.90 FIP, and 0.95 WHIP with 10 strikeouts while giving up zero walks in 12.2 innings. Can Brooks put away the patient Doosan bats? It remains to be seen but this makes Brooks a GPP play if he can.

Hitters
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.
CEui Ji YangNCDS Baek (L)$5,300
A hefty price tag at catcher but if Yang's in the lineup he could be worth it. He's sat out the two previous games nursing a leg injury so be sure to check lineups before lock. But, Yang's hitting .313 with an .812 OPS and seven RBI. Plus, Yang's due for a dinger in this match-up.
CTae Goon KimNCDS. Baek (L)$2,300
If needing a pivot for Yang, his teammate Kim's three-for-his-last six with three RBI and 25 DK points the last two contests. It's possible the Dinos break out of their low scoring funk facing Baek on getaway day.
CSe Hyuk ParkDOOA. Brooks (R)$2,900
Another catcher requiring confirmation in the lineup, Park's played the last two days in a row with four hits in six at-bats and three RBI. A solid but not exciting target.
1B/OFBaek Ho KangKTWB. Lively (R)$5,600
Armed with a hefty price tag, Kang's one of the best young power hitters in the league. With his offense surging of late Kang racked up a double and a triple on Saturday and enters this game with an enticing .333/.500/1.000 slash line along with nine extra-base hits in his first 46 plate appearances.
1BJae Il OhDOOA. Brooks (R)$4,200
A less expensive pivot it targeting a bounce back by the Bears offense. Oh's hitting .405 with a 1.195 OPS and three home runs this season.
1B/2BJoo Hwan ChoiDOOA. Brooks (R)$2,200
If paying for the two upper-tier pitchers, Choi makes for a terrific cheap dart throw in DFS. Choi's posted 28 points combined his last two games for Doosan going 3-for-6 with two runs, a home run, and two RBI. Multiple eligibility never hurts.
1B/2BJose Miguel FernandezDOOA. Brooks (R)$6,500
Well, the price tag on Fernandez finally ballooned. He leads the KBO in batting average (.488), has multiple hits in seven of his first nine games, and could be involved if Doosan wears down Brooks or gets to the bullpen for a late rally. But, with the pitching prices escalating, he's a fade for me tonight but cannot be ignored in the playbook.
2BMin Woo ParkNCDS. Baek (L)$4,200
Hitting leadoff for the biggest favorite on the board never hurts. Park's five-for-his-last-seven with three RBI already against SK. Plus, he's hitting .425 with a 1.077 OPS and capable of a huge night atop the lineup for the Dinos. Especially if the bullpen gets involved early in this contest.
2B/3BEun Won JungHANS. Lee (R)$5,500
Multi-positional eligibility, 32 DK points his last three games including five hits his last nine at-bats with two runs and two doubles. With a potential gas can on the mound for Lotte, Jung makes for a nice GPP play, especially at 3B if using Park above in lineups.
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.
2B/3BYoon Ho HwangKIAR. Alcantara (R)$3,800
If looking to move down a tier in pricing, Hwang exploded for four hits including two doubles on Saturday with two RBI for a 22 point day. Alcantara can be tough to predict but he gives up hits even in his good outings.
SSWoo Jun SimKTWB. Lively (R)$2,400
For starters, on a night when paying up for pitching could be necessary, Sim represents an inexpensive target. He's posted 42 DK points his last two games going 5-for-9 with three runs, a triple and two RBI. Plus, he hits leadoff so there's plenty of opportunity for him garner plate appearances which equates to chances to amass points.
2B/SSDixon MachadoLOTM. Kim (R)$5,700
More of a contrarian play in this slate, Machado's been scuffling of late with one hit his last nine at-bats. But, his .286 average comes with a .981 OPS and three home runs at a position lacking power in the KBO.
3BJae Gyun HwangKTWB. Lively (R)$4,300
Back-to-back 11-point games which seems boring but 3B can be dicey at times, especially with Jeong Choi struggling at the onset of the season. As for Hwang, he's recorded a double and an RBI in each of his last two games.
OFMel Rojas Jr.KTWB. Lively (R)$6,000
With his price tag rising, Rojas sits one hit behind the KBO lead, owns a .465 average and 1.221 OPS yet goes overlooked. A home run could be in the offing for Sunday.
OFPreston TuckerKIAR. Alcantara (R)$5,300
Somehow cheaper than Rojas despite going 4-for-4 on Saturday with three doubles, his fourth home run and seven RBI. Tucker left the game early after running the bases, so be sure he's in the lineup but owing the KBO leader in OPS (1.468) in a nice match-up makes sense.
OFAh Seop SonLOTM. Kim (R)$3,500
Son's lack of power (1 HR) overshadows his .424 average over his first 44 plate appearances. If Lotte can generate offense against Kim on the road, Son will be involved.
OFDong Min HanSKD. Rucinski$4,300
Speaking of overlooked, Han leads the KBO with five home runs and carries a robust 1.233 OPS into this match-up. He's more of a boom or bust play so use in GPP's more than cash lineups.
OFSung Bun NaNCDS. Baek (L)$4,100
On my headstone it may read, here lies Greg, he trusted Na too often. Another player due for a big night with his present production not matching his potential. If the Dinos roll, Na could jack one over the fence.

StackMin Woo ParkSung Bum NaEui Ji YangSuk Min ParkAaron Altherr
Positioned as the heaviest favorite on the slate (-200), the Dinos offense seems to be on snooze in SK. With Baek on the mound and if Yang's in the lineup, the offense may roll through the Wyverns tired bullpen.

I won't commit to an entire team stack considering bad this offense has been, but how can you deny the match-up and how can you deny how well they're priced? With a lot of really potent offenses facing quality pitching, Hanwha provides us with savings and likely low ownership for GPP's.
