I have to say I’ve really enjoyed watching this PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park.  Such a beautiful challenging course for these players.  You see these players do amazing things but also be humbled as well.  The course played so differently from day one to day two and the players who took advantage on Thursday are still sitting at the top of the leaderboard with the exception of one guy.  I don’t know how it is possible for Haotong Li to shoot a round of 65 when he only hit four fairways.  He scrambled his tuchus off today.  As I’m writing this article I’m watching him grind on the driving range and chipping greens hours after his second round was completed.

There are so many storylines through the first two days of this event.  You’ve got the surprise of Li leading after 36 holes, the number one player in the world Justin Thomas struggling to make the cut, Rory McIlory not being able to get out of his own way, Koepka in the hunt for his third straight Wanamaker Trophy, Jason Day’s resurgence continues, and so many more.  I didn’t even mention Tiger’s roller coaster first two days.  Rahm just crushed me as he didn’t take advantage of the good conditions on Thursday and battled all day on Friday.  I expect the weekend conditions to be more like Friday than on Thursday which should make for an exciting finish to the 102nd PGA Championship

Good Luck!
