What a first two days at the Masters!  Just look at this leaderboard heading into the weekend, you've got the #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #12, #14, #16, #19, #20, #22, & #24 ranked players in the world all in contention in the Top 25.  It should be a fun weekend with a lot of drama as guys rise and fall.

Tiger Woods had a few moments but overall he just could not take advantage of the Par 5s and it all goes back to what we discussed, the driver.  He also could not make a putt when he really needed it.  I'm glad to see he'll play over the weekend because there is nothing like seeing Tiger compete on Saturday and Sunday at the Masters.

So, we've got some new things going on this weekend on DraftKings and Fanduel.  Lets start with Fanduel ...

They finally introduced a weekend only slate, which DraftKings has been doing since last year's Masters.  The game is exact same as it is on DraftKings and the strategy remains the same.  The ONE difference i've seen is that Fanduel does not adjust their prices from the full week slate to its weekend only slate.  I feel like this is a nice player advantage especially when one of the unknowns comes up and plays well.  Here are my optimals for the Fanduel Weekend Games ...

FANDUEL WEEKEND GPP OPTIMAL LINEUP #1

GDustin Johnson$12000
GJon Rahm$11300
GHenrik Stenson$10700
GMatt Kuchar$9500
GJimmy Walker$9100

FANDUEL WEEKEND GPP OPTIMAL LINEUP #2

GJordan Spieth$11000

GBubba Watson$10300

Ok, lets talk DraftKings.  This weekend, they have decided to do away with the full weekend slate games and try out a new single round games.  They are offering an individual "Round 3" & "Round 4" game.  They call it the "Showdown" and it is completely new to me.  I'll be trying it out for the first time just like all of you.  I feel like the strategy is to pick players who you know can go really low and not the types who grind it out over four rounds.  A Zach Johnson type, would not be good in this format because he's the type that will go 70-69-69-70 instead of like a guy like Bubba Watson who will go 67-72-66-71.  Eagles - Birdies are the name of the game in these one round formats.  I have put together a "PRACTICE" lineup, I am not calling it optimal because I am trying this out for the first time and experimenting with it.  I just wanted to give you an idea of how I'm putting together a lineup for Saturday - Round 3 games.
