Welcome back, Fantasy Golfers!  I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season because it is time to win some cash to ring in the New Year.

We start the 2017 season off with the Sentry Tournament Champions at Kapalua in Hawaii.  This is one of those small field events which I am not a fan of for DFS but it also means that I'm completely focused on the tournaments or GPPs.  I avoid cash games like the plague in these types of events because of the limited amount of options.  I will not be providing a full playbook as I usually give you 15-20 golfers which would be nearly half the field.  Instead, I'll be providing you with two optimal lineups for each of the sites for this event.  Next week, we will start back up with the first full DFS playbook of 2018.

Kapalua, one of the few courses on the PGA tour schedule that I can say I've had the pleasure of playing.  The course has been lengthened over the years and is now a Par 73, 7,452 yards.  It was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and features super wide fairways and extremely large undulating greens.  Wind is a big factor whenever you play a course in Hawaii and has caused the winner score to range from 8 under to 26 under par.  The weather report is calling for 20-25 mile per hour winds throughout the weekend which is pretty normal and we should expect the scores to be a bit higher than last year.  It is hard to pin down winning stats on this track because a lot of the best players in the game have won here and those type players don't have a lot of flaws in their game.

If this is your first year reading my articles, first of all, welcome and you'll notice something at the bottom of my articles called "ONE AND DONE."  This is a very popular season long form of Fantasy Golf where players pick just one golfer each week and they earn points according to how well they finish but the catch is, once you've used a golfer, they can't be used again the rest of the season.  So, I'll be putting my pick each week up there for those players.

Also, if you don't know her, you will when you read my articles.  Her name is Paige Spiranac and she is a professional golfer trying to earn her LPGA tour card.  She's a great follow on instagram and passionate about the game of golf.  She'll be featured in a few of my articles throughout the season.

Good luck this week ...
