Fantasy Alarm is taking a different approach to help our subscribers build successful DFS lineups.  I will be giving you my personal core plays for this weekend's tournament.  These players listed below are my three favorite top tier, middle tier and value tier players for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  They will be at the core of all my lineups for this weekend's RBC Heritage and then I'll use my playbook to fill out the remaining spots in my lineup.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for the Valero Texas Open before using these core plays.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

The first Major Championship of the PGA Tour season is in the books and we get a break for a few weeks before the PGA Championship rolls around in May.  We go from a stacked field at the Masters to a pretty average PGA Tour field.  I don’t see any glaring strategies when building your lineups for an event like this one besides I’d prefer to stay out of the 6K range as much as possible.  Most of my lineups will preferably only feature one guy sub 7K.

I’ll likely start my lineups with one of either Cantlay or Webb and then dip to the mid 8K range and grab two guys between Ancer, Lowry or Na.  My bottom half will consist of a mid and low end 7K player like Kisner and Pan followed by one of my 6K players.  Most of my lineups will be some combination of those players.  I’ll likely build one super stars and scrubs and one super balanced to cover myself a little bit more.

This new format of core plays I think is way more valuable to our subscribers because it lends more to teaching than just copy and pasting.  A set of these players will be in each one of my lineups this weekend and then a mix of players from my playbook will fill out the rest.
