Josh Allen : Josh Allen was fantasy gold again in week 13 throwing for 231 and two TD and rushing for another 135 yards. That was good for 33 fantasy points. Add that to week 12’s 27 fantasy points and that is 60 over the last two weeks. Not too shabby. Remember that Blake Bortles lead many fantasy teams to a title in 2017. Can Josh Allen do so in 2018? Why not? Next up for Buffalo, a Jets team that gave up 25 fantasy points to Marcus Mariota and then the Lions and Pats – both of whom are in the bottom third in terms of fantasy points given up to fantasy QBs. Team CTW will likely roll with Allen in the SiriusXM Dynasty semi-finals next week so we are putting our proverbial money where our proverbial mouths are. It will take some guts actually to pencil him in but he could be worth it!
Robert Woods : Robert Woods reeled in five catches for 67 yards and a TD. He also led the Rams with nine targets. In my view, he is now the WR1 for the Rams. That is 20 targets over the last two weeks. Do not worry about the opponent as Woods has put up double digit fantasy points every single week other than Week 1. He has also been targeted seven times or more in all but two games of the 12 they have played. You get the point – high floor and high ceiling. I am all in!
Chris Godwin : Chris Godwin had a strong game with 101 yards and a TD on five grabs. You have to like Godwin in a brewing shootout against the Saints in Week 14. However, after watching what the Ravens did to Matt Ryan and the Cowboys to Drew Brees this week, Godwin will be a tough play in weeks 15 and 16 against, you guessed it, the Cowboys and Ravens. (Same goes for Jameis Winston , Adam Humphries and Mike Evans ).
Jarvis Landry : Jarvis Landry made a return to the living in fantasy football Sunday notching over 100 yards (103) on six grabs and nine targets. Those targets lead the team. His target dip the last two weeks has to be an anomaly. After all, Landry has eight games of nine targets or more. In PPR leagues, I am in – especially in Week 16 against the Bengals.
Courtland Sutton : Courtland Sutton reeled in four catches for 85 yards and a TD. Tellingly, he led the team in targets Sunday with seven. Check out this schedule for the fantasy football playoffs: 49ers, Browns, Raiders. Yep, that is a delicious looking menu of weak defenses on which Sutton should feast. Buy!
Final Note: Anyone else annoyed by the DT rushing TD for Chicago, the two Devlin plunges and the two Edmunds rushing TDs? If you said no, I hope you had your fingers crossed because we do not believe you!
