Only two games taking place, but still plenty of solid gpp’s in the lobbies tonight. Below is a breakdown of both games, as well as an example gpp lineup for FD and DK.

Houston -6 @ Minnesota   Total: 217.5

This game has the highest projected point total out of the two games, and could now be called a series after the T-Wolves won game three 121-105.  Karl-Anthony Towns is the third highest priced player of the slate, and had by far his best, and most aggressive game of the series, producing an 18 point, 16 rebound double double.  The Rockets are still the number one seed for a reason, but don’t mind Towns for his price on DK. While Taj Gibson looks to be a defense guy only for the playoffs, the rest of the starters joined Towns for series best games.  Targeting the T-Wolves tonight depends on which team you feel shows up on both sides of this game. I’m not sure we see the 121 point T-Wolves, but at the same time I don’t think we see a team that averaged 91.5 points in the first two games.  No matter how you see this game going, Derrick Rose and Jamal Crawford both make for solid value plays. Jimmy Butler or George comes down to a personal preference, but I do like Jeff Teague as a pivot off of Rubio on FD, and in a tough price point on DK.

On Houston’s side, James Harden followed up his 2-18 game by going 9-21 for 29 actual points due to eight made free throws. He’ll continue to get ot the line, but seems like Gibson guarding him has seemed to work. If looking to go cheap in the forward spot, Ryan Anderson finished with 22 DK points in 18 minutes after returning from injury.  Houston hasn’t been making their three’s, but Anderson went 4-6 from downtown. They made ride the hot hand tonight, and don’t mind going cheap with Anderson over Green or Tucker. Eric Gordon continues to take double digit shots, and continues to miss a large majority of them.  The good news is that he consistently jacks them up, while Green, Ariza, and Tucker may not take as many FGA. Chris Paul is a wild card, but would rather go stars and scrubs then try to fit him in.

Oklahoma City @ Uah -4  Total: 208

After 58, 58, and 43 DK point games, Russell Westbrook now has his lowest DK price tag of the series.  Westbrook’s scored under 20 actual in each of the last two losses after going for 29 in their game one win.  I think he’s pissed, and will have an aggressive triple double tonight. If that’s the case, expect Paul George and Carmelo Anthony to heavily rely on actual points as well as blocks and steals.  Melo is tied with Favors as the top priced PF, so shows how limited the choices are.Adams is not on my radar tonight, but can see some Corey Brewer and Jerami Grant exposure for value plays.

The Jazz will try to go up 3-1 with a third straight win tonight.  While they don’t have a true top priced option, they make for a great balanced approach play tonight if not looking to fully pay up or punt.  Ricky Rubio had a triple double, but also went for over 20 actual for the second straight game. While everyone talked about Rubio, Donovan Mitchell took at least 20 FGA, and scored at least 22 actual points for the third straight game in the series.  He averaged less than four boards a game over the regular season, but has gone for double digit boards in two of the three games. Rudy Gobert is the cheaper pivot option off of Towns, with Favors and Ingles as the other targets from the Jazz. I’m not really on Crowder much tonight, and Ingles won’t sneak up on anyone after blasting off last game.
