Hitters ----

Play of the Day: Robinson Cano-- Cano and the Mariners have the highest projected run total of the night.  Cano is batting .410 with four home runs in 83 career AB’s vs Shields.  Ben Zobrist at near minimum price makes for cheap pivot off Cano.

Top Play: - Ryan Zimmerman:  Zimmerman checks in second in the N.L. with a .330 avg, and is priced outside the top 20 1B on Y!.  Zimmerman has not seen his average dip under .300 this entire season.  Adleman has allowed 10 HR”s over his past six games.

Value Play:  Kyle Seager --Third Base is stacked tonight, but can save salary with Seager tonight.  Continuing to pick on Shields, Kyle is 7-17 with 3 HR’s lifetime vs him.

Value Play:  Corey Dickerson--.  Joey Rickard leads the value O’s hitters again tonight, and while Bautista is also in play for $1 cheaper, Dickerson’s price is too low at $17 tonight vs Nolasco.  He hasn’t gone deep since June 24th, but last four hits have went for double. Best chance to add to Nolasco’s 25 HR’s allowed already this season.

Pitchers ----

Play of the Day: Jacob deGrom-- deGrom has won five straight, and has at least 9 K’s in seven starts this year.  He is 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA in four starts vs the Rockies over his career, who check in with the lowest projected run total tonight.

Top Play:  Carlos Carrasco-- Carrasco is 5-0 over his last six starts, with at least seven K’s in five straight.  He may not last as many innings as deGrom, but is 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA in five appearances vs Oakland.  The A’s struck out 59 times in their earlier season series vs Cleveland.

Top Play:  James Paxton--  Paxton won’t be able to sneak up on anyone anymore this season as he now has 91 K’s through 81 ? innings this season.  He hasn’t had a double digit K game this season, but Sox are still the worst team in the AL, and has struck out nine in 11 ? innings vs the Sox over his career.

GPP Play:  Nick Pivetta-- Pivetta is the cheapest priced pitcher on Y! Tonight, and faces the first place Brewers at Miller Park tonight.  He’ll allow you to roster some big bats while bringing you some K upside, but comes with a risk still.  Pivetta has gone seven innings in each of last two starts, allowing only four runs.  He was 0-2 with a 5.66 ERA in previous four.
