Welcome to the DFS MLB PLaybook for Thursday, May 17!

If you haven't checked up on your Twitter feed, allow me to just say that we are now working off back-to-back $100K wins for #FANation! On Tuesday, one of our subscribers (Mike F.) took down $100K on FanDuel using the Playbook and our tools and then last night (Wednesday), one of FA's Finest took down a $100K pot on Draft Kings using not only the tools on the site, but also part of the discussion on the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM as Jim Bowden and I were talking about young pitchers (Walker Buehler ) and the perils of South Beach.

Last night's main slate, though just four games, was all about the starting pitching as Chris Sale and Justin Verlander were both dominant plays. Tonight, not so much. Tonight, the pitching names are far less endearing and it looks like winning tonight will be a combination of hitting some lower-end starters and some decent bats. Here's a look at some of my favorite plays on the slate, though keep in mind that we'll likely be mixing in some different names as the lineups creep out and we look for our favorite stacks, mini-stacks and bargain plays.

Potential Weather Concerns: CHC @ ATL

**NOTE: Both Cole Hamels and Mike Soroka have been scratched. Doug Fister and Max Fried will fill in respectively.
