Welcome to the DFS PLaybook for NFL Week 17!
Well, we all knew this was going to be a crazy week and with the way the news started rolling out over the last few days, it got even crazier. Many of the players we were told were going to sit out the week were expected, but when both Sean McVay and Mike Tomlin announced that health was more important than playoff seeding, we had to make some hard pivots away from our Rams and Steelers. As I said when the Week 17 NFL DFS Playbook Watch List first came out, the foundation of my lineups this week would be players who were on teams who had something to play for. That methodology has not changed. That will be my base. However, as I've gone through the latest news, injury reports and dug through stats and contracts to find out who has a milestone or monetary incentive to do something, I've found some outstanding options we're going to try to throw into our cash lineups. For GPP tournaments, we'll look to take a few oddball choices, because there are going to be plenty of random players who are going to see an expanded workload this week. We may not get to a full GPP Dart Board as the options are abundant, but I'll have a few key names listed inthe Optimal Lineups write-up.
