PrizePicks Prop Selections

1) Aleksib (OG) - Over 33.5 Kills

In the past month, Aleksib has 247 kills across 14 maps played for an average of about 17.64 kills per map. On Sunday, OG will face off against Evil Geniuses, and I think Aleksib is set-up to have an above average day in this spot. Both teams are red hot coming into the series, which is why they are even competing in the Group B upper bracket final. The winner of this series gets a free pass to the semi-finals of the playoffs, so this is a crucial series even though elimination is not at stake. Thus, I think we should see two super competitive maps here. Mirage & Inferno are the probable map picks, and Inferno is a map that Aleksib has dominated recently. In his last five maps on Inferno, he has finished with kill totals of 19, 18, 23, 21, and 22, with only one of those maps going to overtime. All things considered; I see plenty of upside on the over here especially if Inferno is played.

2) nexa (G2) - Over 34.5 Kills

Nexa used to be a reliable fragger for G2 and he has seemed to have brought back that level of consistency again in the past month.  He has a 1.03 Rating during that time, which is still below his 1.06 Rating from 2020, meaning his potential ceiling is clearly even higher. Still, nexa has 406 kills in 23 maps played in the past month for an average of about 17.65 kills per map. This series is for the upper bracket final of Group A, so the winner gets a bye to semi-finals and the losing team goes to the quarter-finals, like with the OG/Evil Geniuses series. Both teams have looked excellent in this tournament which got them to this point, and I expect both maps to be highly competitive. I expect to see Dust2 & Inferno as the map picks, which are both good maps for nexa. He has had a Rating greater than 1.0 in eight of his last ten maps on Dust2/Inferno. The benefits of winning this series are massive and both teams should give their best effort in a tight series, despite elimination not being at stake.
