PrizePicks Prop Selections:

  1. znajder (Lemondogs) - Under 34.5 Fantasy Score

Lemondogs will face Fiend on Friday for the first round of the Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Regional Series 2 Closed Qualifier. The IGL for Lemondogs, and former major winner, znajder, has been fragging a lot lately with this new roster that includes twist. However, a closer look at the stats will show you that znajder’s performance in the past 3 months have been somewhat ‘boosted’ because 3 of his 6 maps played were against the all-female team, XSET, which is a team that has not yet had any success competing against Tier 2 teams. Against a better team such as Nordavind, we saw znajder go 14-23 on Overpass and finish at the bottom of the leaderboard. I am expecting Fiend to win this series and znajder will likely be towards the bottom of his team in terms of kills, win or lose. I feel comfortable taking the under in this spot because this will be a challenge for Lemondogs.

  1. sh1ro (Gambit) - Over 39.5 Fantasy Score

My only concern with this total going over is that Gambit might win so easily that sh1ro has less opportunities for kills. Regardless, I am expecting a big day per usual from the Russian AWPer. The last time Gambit played G2, Sh1ro averaged 20 kills per map, which would just be enough for our total to go over. However, if you look closer at that series, you will see that Gambit won Mirage 16-8 and won Dust2 16-4. These dominant performances from Gambit meant that sh1ro had less opportunities for kills, so I see upside on the over for this total if the series plays out more competitively.

  1. s1mple (Natus Vincere) - Over 44.5 Fantasy Score

This is the highest score total that PrizePicks is offering on Saturday, but I am not scared to take the over because s1mple is just that good. Over the past 3 months, s1mple has averaged an incredible 0.87 kills per round. At that pace, he would need about 51 rounds across 2 maps to reach his PrizePicks Fantasy Score over. That may seem like a lot of rounds needed, but this series should be a tight one, and I expect both map 1 and map 2 to go close to 30 rounds with overtime being a real possibility. We know s1mple is going to light up the kill feed pretty much every map he plays, but I think that this match-up against Heroic provides a great opportunity for his projected score total to go over due to how competitive it should be.
