CS:GO DFS Playbook: ESL Pro League Season 13 – 3.24.2021

FURIA (Ranked 10th in World) @ Gambit (Ranked 3rd in World)

Betting Odds: Gambit -250/FURIA +185

Map Odds: 2.5 Over -105/Under -130

*This is a best of three match for Group C in the ESL Pro League Season 13 Event.

*This match has quite a bit at stake as these two teams are the top two teams in Group C, but Gambit does hold the lead for the top seed currently with four match wins compared to FURIA’s three. FURIA has to beat Gambit in order to even have a shot at the top seed.

*FURIA For Event (10 Maps): arT 1.20 Rating, KSCERATO 1.15, VINI 1.08, yuurih 1.05, junior 0.95.

*FURIA For the Last Month of Play (8 Maps): arT 1.20 Rating, KSCERATO 1.15, VINI 1.08, yuurih 1.05, junior 0.95.

*Gambit For Event (11 Maps): Ax1Le 1.33 Rating, sh1ro 1.26, Hobbit 1.24, Nafany 1.14, interz 1.03.

*Gambit For the Last Month of Play (22 Maps): Ax1Le 1.27 Rating, sh1ro 1.20, Hobbit 1.19, Nafany 1.10, interz 1.04.

H2H DATA:

*These two teams have not faced each other any in recent memory.

MAPS:

*The first likely two banned maps for this match should include Dust2 for FURIA and Nuke for Gambit. I believe we see Inferno for FURIA and Overpass for Gambit.

*FURIA on Inferno (7 Maps): junior (1 Map) 1.34 Rating, KSCERATO 1.19 Rating, 0.72 KPR, 1.02 IMP, 82.0 ADR. yuurih 1.16, arT 1.07, VINI 1.07. On Overpass (6 Maps): KSCERATO 1.20 Rating, 0.76 KPR, 1.12 IMP, 85.1 ADR. arT 1.18, VINI 1.00, yuurih 0.99, junior 0.88.

Gambit on Overpass (13 Maps): Hobbit 1.24 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.29 IMP, 84.8 ADR. sh1ro 1.15, Nafany 1.08, Ax1Le 1.06, interz 0.98. On Inferno (12 Maps): Ax1Le 1.18 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.14 IMP, 84.0 ADR. sh1ro 1.17, Hobbit 1.12, interz 0.99, Nafany 0.87.

Analysis: With the other two matches on this slate being two teams that “should” beat their opponents to remain in the playoff hunt in Cloud9 and NaVi, I feel this is the match that you pick and choose out of but don’t hard stack. I feel this match is going to be super close and I think both teams come to play. The odds are pretty heavily in Gambit’s favor and I do think they are the better overall team here, but FURIA (albeit their complete fucking throw against Cloud9) have looked extremely good in Pro League play. I think this will come down to a third map and could go either way.

NaVi (Ranked 1st in World) @ TeamOne (Ranked 51st in World)

Betting Odds: NaVi -910/TeamOne +510

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +215/Under -305

*This is a best of three match out of Group C for the ESL Pro League Season 13 Event.

*As mentioned, NaVi does still have a shot at getting in the playoffs but they will need a Cloud9 loss, as they will hold the tie-breaker over Cloud9 as they beat them in the very first match of League play. TeamOne literally has nothing to play here but the spoiler role.

*NaVi For Event (10 Maps): s1mple 1.35 Rating, electronic 1.07, flamie 0.96, Perfecto 0.92, Boombl4 0.91.

*NaVi For the Last Month of Play (12 Maps): s1mple 1.29 Rating, electronic 1.02, flamie 0.94, Perfecto 0.94, Boombl4 0.86.

*TeamOne For Event (10 Maps): malbsMd 0.91 Rating, skullz 0.88, Maluk3 0.86, pesadelo 0.85, prt 0.81.

*TeamOne For the Last Month of Play (27 Maps): malbsMd 0.97 Rating, pesadelo 0.94, prt 0.92, Maluk3 0.91, skullz 0.86.

H2H DATA:

*These two teams have not played each other in recent memory.

MAPS:

*The first likely two banned maps for this match should include Overpass for TeamOne and Overpass for NaVi. I believe we see Inferno for TeamOne and Nuke for NaVi.

*TeamOne on Inferno (4 Maps): malbsMd 1.07 Rating, 0.74 KPR, 1.13 IMP, 83.9 ADR. Maluk3 1.05, prt 0.97, skullz 0.88, pesadelo 0.79. On Nuke (3 Maps): pesadelo 0.98 Rating, 0.66 KPR, 1.16 IMP, 75.0 ADR. malbsMd 0.94, Maluk3 0.87, skullz 0.83, prt 0.77.

*NaVi on Nuke (2 Maps): s1mple 1.61 Rating, 0.96 KPR, 1.59 IMP, 100.1 ADR. electronic 1.20, flamie 1.03, Boombl4 0.96, Perfecto 0.96. On Inferno (6 Maps): s1mple 1.25 Rating, 0.77 KPR, 1.22 IMP, 77.7 ADR. Boombl4 1.17, electronic 1.16, Perfecto 1.05, B1T 1.02.

Analysis:  TeamOne has yet to win a match in League play and I HIGHLY doubt they are going to gain their first in this one. Watch s1mple play, boys and girls.

Cloud9 (Ranked 25th in World) @ MIBR (Ranked 31st in World)

Betting Odds: Cloud9 -250/MIBR +185

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +110/Under -145

*This is a best of three match for Group C in the ESL Pro League Season 13 Event.

*Same scenario here as Cloud9 will need a win in this match to stay alive for the 3rd and final seed that heads to the playoffs for Pro League play.

*Cloud9 For Event (11 Maps): Xeppaa 1.08 Rating, ALEX 1.06, floppy 1.04, mezii 1.04, es3tag 1.00,

*Cloud9 For the Last Month of Play (24 Maps): Xeppaa 1.10 Rating, floppy 1.06, mezii 1.05, es3tag 1.02, ALEX 1.00.

*MIBR For Event (10 Maps): chelo 1.20 Rating, shz 0.99, boltz 0.95, danoco 0.89, yel 0.87.

*MIBR For the Last Month of Play (24 Maps): chelo 1.15 Rating, boltz 1.05, shz 1.03, yel 0.96, danoco 0.92.

H2H DATA:

*These two teams have played once in 2021 at cs_Summit 7 Event with Cloud9 winning 2-1 with results of 16-8 on Inferno and 16-13 on Overpass, while MIBR won 16-12 on Vertigo.

*Top Performers for Cloud9 (3 Maps): mezii +10 K-D Diff, 1.18 Rating, 77.1 ADR. ALEX +7 K-D Diff, 1.11 Rating, 72.7 ADR.

*Top Performers for MIBR (3 Maps): boltz +14 K-D Diff, 1.19 Rating, 84.6 ADR. shz +8 K-D Diff, 1.13 Rating, 77.9 ADR.

MAPS:

*The first likely two banned maps for this match should include Mirage for Cloud9 and Nuke for MIBR. I believe we see MIBR try to utilize Vertigo here as they won it in their last meeting, and I think we see Overpass for Cloud9.

*Cloud9 on Overpass (7 Maps): mezii 1.15 Rating, 0.72 KPR, 1.19 IMP, 77.8 ADR. Xeppaa 1.11, ALEX 1.05, es3tag 1.05, floppy 1.00. On Vertigo (4 Maps): Xeppaa 1.09 Rating, 0.82 KPR, 1.18 IMP, 80.3 ADR. floppy 0.97, es3tag 0.96, mezii 0.87, ALEX 0.83.

*MIBR on Vertigo (6 Maps): shz 1.19 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.28 IMP, 86.9 ADR. chelo 1.07, danoco 1.01, boltz 1.00, yel 0.93. On Overpass (5 Maps): chelo 1.19 Rating, 0.77 KPR, 1.30 IMP, 86.9 ADR. boltz 1.01, shz 0.99, yel 0.92, danoco 0.89.

Analysis: I honestly think that MIBR can steal a map here, and I don’t actually think that Cloud9 is as good as they were against FURIA (we know the reasons). I think MIBR has a legit shot at playing a really good spoiler in this match and I think they could win this match. I think that they will be over-looked easily as everyone will flood to C9 after their huge win over FURIA, but I think MIBR is just as good as they are to be quite honest. I will have quite a bit of MIBR.
