CS:GO DFS Playbook: ESL Pro League Season 13 – 3.19.2021 (3-Match)

Gambit (Ranked 5th in World) @ MIBR (Ranked 33rd in World)

Betting Odds: Gambit -475/MIBR +320

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +130/Under -175

*This is a best of three match for Group C in the ESL Pro League Season 13.

*Gambit For the Last Month of Play (20 Maps): sh1ro 1.23 Rating, Ax1Le 1.16, Hobbit 1.14, interz 1.05, Nafany 1.01.

*Gambit For the Last Three Months of Play (46 Maps): Sh1ro 1.23 Rating, Hobbit 1.16, Ax1Le 1.15, Nafany 1.01, interz 0.98.

*MIBR For the Last Month of Play (14 Maps): boltz 1.12 Rating, chelo 1.12, shz 1.06, yel 1.02, danoco 0.94.

*MIBR For the Last Three Months of Play (35 Maps): boltz 1.12 Rating, chelo 1.07, shz 1.06, yel 1.02, danoco 0.94.

H2H DATA:

*These two teams have not played any recent meetings.

MAPS:

*The first likely two banned maps for this match should include Nuke for Gambit and Overpass for MIBR. I think we see Vertigo for MIBR and I think we see Gambit go with Inferno.

*MIBR on Vertigo (6 Maps): shz 1.19 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.28 IMP, 86.9 ADR. chelo 1.07, danoco 1.05, boltz 1.00, yel 0.93. On Inferno (7 Maps): boltz 1.07 Rating, 0.63 KPR, 0.99 IMP, 77.4 ADR. yel 1.03, chelo 0.98, shz 0.94, danoco 0.87.

*Gambit on Inferno (10 Maps): sh1ro 1.16 Rating, 0.68 KPR, 0.99 IMP, 72.6 ADR. AX1Le 1.10, Hobbit 1.09, interz 0.98, Nafany 0.82. On Vertigo (10 Maps): AX1Le 1.29 Rating, 0.79 KPR, 1.32 IMP, 89.8 ADR. sh1ro 1.28, Hobbit 1.14, Nafany 1.08, interz 1.03.

Analysis: Gambit is a very strong team, and they have the map advantages here in this match. MIBR doesn’t exactly have a wide map pool and Gambit does. They can literally make some really good teams look very silly on multiple maps. They won IEM Katowice and I feel they likely make a run at winning Group C here, as well and it starts here.

NaVi (Ranked 1st in World) @ Cloud9 (Ranked 26th in World):

Betting Odds: NaVi -555/Cloud9 +360

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +140/Under -190

*This is a best of three match for Group C in the ESL Pro League Season 13 Event.

*NaVi For the Last Month of Play (9 Maps): s1mple 1.31 Rating, electronic 1.11, Perfecto 1.10, Boombl4 1.04, flamie 0.92.

*NaVi For the Last Three Months of Play (34 Maps): S1mple 1.33 Rating, electronic 1.09, Perfecto 1.06, Boombl4 1.05, flamie 0.96.

*Cloud9 For the Last Month of Play (13 Maps): Xeppaa 1.12 rating, floppy 1.08, mezii 1.06, es3tag 1.03, ALEX 0.96.

*Cloud9 For the Last Three Months of Play (34 Maps): mezii 1.04 Rating, floppy 1.03, Xeppaa 1.02, es3tag 1.02, ALEX 0.98.

H2H DATA:

*These two teams have not faced each other in recent memory.

MAPS:

*The first likely two banned maps for this match should include Mirage for Cloud9 and Vertigo for NaVi. Believe we see Train for NaVi and Overpass for Cloud9.

*Cloud9 on Overpass (3 Maps): Alex 1.28 Rating, 0.85 KPR, 1.33 IMP, 86.5 ADR. Xeppaa 1.26, mezii 1.23, es3tag 1.03, floppy 1.00. On Train (4 Maps): floppy 1.16 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.32 IMP, 86.6 ADR. es3tag 1.00, ALEX 0.98, Xeppaa 0.95, mezii 0.97.

*NaVi on Train (6 Maps): S1mple 1.15 Rating, 0.83 KPR, 1.14 IMP, 81.1 ADR. Boombl4 1.07, electronic 0.98, Perfecto 0.91, flamie 0.81. On Overpass (3 Maps): s1mple 1.27 Rating, 0.85 KPR, 1.35 IMP, 86.1 ADR. Perfecto 1.08, Boombl4 1.01, flamie 0.99, electronic 0.78.

Analysis: I honestly think that C9 will be the GPP leverage on this slate. They are going to be viturally un-owned and they easily could get 2-0 swept by NaVi here, but if they happen to win Overpass, which they do have an 88% success rate on over their last three months, they could have a shot at making this a LOT closer than the odds are showing. Everyone and their sister’s cousin will be on NaVi in this match, but Cloud9 has had lots of time to prepare and they do have a decent squad.

FURIA (Ranked 12th in World) @ TeamOne (Ranked 53rd in World)

*TeamOne For the Last Three Months of Play (21 Maps): malbsMd 0.98 Rating, Pesadelo 0.97, prt 0.95, Maluk3 0.94, skull 0.84.

H2H DATA:

*These two teams played one match back in 2020 at the DreamHack Open Summer 2020 Event with FURIA winning in a 2-1 result.

*Top Performers for FURIA (3 Maps): arT +21 K-D Diff, 1.45 Rating, 101.4 ADR. KSCERATO +9 K-D Diff, 1.13 Rating, 80.0 ADR. yuurih +2 K-D Diff, 1.05 Rating, 72.6 ADR.

*Top Performers for TeamOne (3 Maps): b4rtin was the lead at +4, but he is no longer with TeamOne.

MAPS:

*The first likely two banned maps for this match should include Dust2 for FURIA and Overpass for TeamOne. I think we see Inferno for FURIA and Train for TeamOne.

*TeamOne on Train (4 Maps): Maluk3 0.95 Rating, 0.61 KPR, 0.87 IMP, 63.3 ADR. prt 0.91, pesadelo 0.88, skullz 0.87, malbsMd 0.83. On Inferno (4 Maps): Maluk3 1.22 Rating, 0.74 KPR, 1.32 IMP, 85.7 ADR. prt 1.14, malbsMd 1.11, skullz 1.01, pesadelo 0.99.

*FURIA on Inferno (7 Maps): yuurih 1.13 Rating, 0.69 KPR, 1.10 IMP, 80.7 ADR. KSCERATO 1.06, arT 1.01, VINI 0.97. On Train (3 Maps): yuurih 1.58 Rating, 0.99 KPR, 1.81 IMP, 95.2 ADR. arT 1.32, VINI 1.26, KSCERATO 1.09, junior 1.04.

Analysis: FURIA 2-0 here. TeamOne is this group’s Renegades or Mousesports. Don’t see them winning many, if any, matches in this Group Play. FURIA added a hell of an AWP in Junior and this team is super-strong. FURIA “Should” smash this team.
