CS:GO DFS Playbook – CS_Summit 7 1.31.2021 (2-Match)

Mousesports (Ranked 11th in World) @ Virtus.Pro (Ranked 10th in World)

Betting Odds: mouse -135/V.Pro +105

*This is a best of three semi-finals match for the CS_Summit 7 Event.

*Mouse For Event: Karrigan 1.34 Rating, frozen 1.25, ropz 1.16, Bymas 1.08, acoR 1.07.

*V.Pro For Event: Jame 1.38 Rating, qikert 1.22, YEKINDAR 1.17, buster 1.15, SANJI 1.00.

*V.Pro Over the Last Three Months of Play: Jame 1.14 Rating, buster 1.08, YEKINDAR 1.07, qikert 1.06, SANJI 0.94.

H2H Data:

*These two teams have played three matches in 2020, most recent a best of one for the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Euro Event with V.Pro winning 16-14 on Dust2. Mouse swept the latter two best of threes at the ESL Pro League Season 11 and the ICE Challenge 2020, but all four maps were close with V.Pro winning at least 12 rounds in three of the four maps played.

*Mouse vs V.Pro (5 Maps): ropz +37 K-D Diff, 1.25 Rating, 81.9 ADR. Frozen +16 K-D Diff, 1.02 Rating, 82.5 ADR.

*V.Pro vs Mouse (5 Maps): Jame +22 K-D Diff, 1.19 Rating, 73.3 ADR.

MAPS:

*The first two ban maps for this match should include Nuke for V.Pro and Overpass for Mouse. I believe we will see Dust2 for V.Pro and Train for Mouse.

*Mouse on Train (6 Maps): frozen 1.49 Rating, 1.01 KPR, 1.55 IMP, 97.1 ADR. Karrigan 1.20, ropz 1.12, Bymas 1.06, acoR 0.94. On Dust2 (5 Maps): ropz 1.22 Rating, 0.82 KPR, 1.25 IMP, 81.6 ADR. Frozen 1.06, Karrigan 0.95, Bymas 0.91.

*V.Pro on Dust2 (9 Maps): Jame 1.14 Rating, 0.65 KPR, 1.04 IMP, 69.0 ADR. Qikert 1.11, YEKINDAR 1.11, buster 1.04, SANJI 0.96. On Train (9 Maps): Jame 1.12 Rating, 0.74 KPR, 1.05 IMP, 70.5 ADR. Buster 1.11, qikert 1.03, YEKINDAR 0.94, SANJI 0.88.

Analysis: I’ll be flat out honest, I don’t know who wins this match. These two teams are so evenly matched and that is exactly why they are in this semi-finals match. The books are favoring Mouse, but I think I like V.Pro just a bit more with how good they have played in this Event. I think V.Pro wins this match 2-1.

Fnatic (Ranked 16th in World) @ Heroic (Ranked 6th in World)

Betting Odds: Heroic -155/Fnatic +120

*Heroic Over the Last Three Months of Play: stavn 1.10 Rating, TeSeS 1.07, cadiaN 1.05, niko 1.03, b0RUP 0.92.

H2H Data:

*These two teams have played three matches since 2020 with Heroic winning all three, two by the sweep and one in a 2-1 result.

*Heroic vs fnatic (7 Maps): TeSeS +14 K-D Diff, 1.10 K-D, 1.13 Rating. cadiaN +18 K-D Diff, 1.14 K-D, 1.13 Rating. Niko +30 K-D Diff, 1.24 K-D, 1.16 Rating.

*fnatic vs Heroic (7 Maps): JW +7 K-D Diff, 1.05 K-D, 1.02 Rating.

MAPS:

*The first two ban maps for this match should include Dust2 for Heroic and Nuke for fnatic. I believe we see Vertigo from Heroic and Inferno from fnatic here.

*Heroic on Vertigo (6 Maps): TeSeS 1.24 Rating, 0.79 KPR, 1.48 IMP, 86.8 ADR. Stavn 1.18, cadiaN 1.01, niko 1.00, b0RUP 0.91. On Inferno (6 Maps): TeSeS 1.08 Rating, 0.72 KPR, 1.03 IMP, 73.9 ADR. cadiaN 1.07, niko 1.06, stavn 1.03, b0RUP 0.87.

*fnatic on Inferno (7 Maps): Jackinho (3 Maps) 1.28 Rating, 0.75 KPR, 1.29 IMP, 83.4 ADR. Brollan 1.16, KRIMZ 1.14, JW 1.02, Golden 0.93. On Vertigo (6 Maps): Brollan 1.28 Rating, 0.85 KPR, 1.54 IMP, 88.0 ADR. JW 1.06, KRIMZ 1.06, Golden 0.88, Jackinho 0.85.

Analysis: Have to give credit where credit is due, and Heroic looked pretty damn sharp yesterday against OG. These is literally a clash between two of the better teams in this Event and I think that I have to give the edge to fnatic here as I believe they love being the under-dog for one, and also, they have lost three-straight times to this Heroic team, and I know they will be out for MAJOR blood revenge here. I think Fnatic will do their practicing of Vertigo, as they looked awful on it yesterday against Cloud9, and will be very prepared going into this match.
