CS:GO DFS Playbook – CS_Summit 7 1.30.2021 (3-Match)

Virtus.Pro (Ranked 10th in World) @ NiP (Ranked 18th in World)

Betting Odds: V.Pro -330/NiP +240

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +115/Under -155

*This is a best of three quarter-final match for the CS_Summit 7 Event.

*V.Pro For the Event: Jame 1.34 Rating, YEKINDAR 1.32, buster 1.24, qikert 1.16, SANJI 1.00.

*NiP For the Event: REZ 1.09 Rating, Plopski 1.08, hampus 1.04, nawwk 0.95, twist 0.93.

*V.Pro Over the Last Three Months of Play: Jame 1.13 Rating, buster 1.09, YEKINDAR 1.08, qiker 1.05, SANJI 0.93.

*NiP Over the Last Three Months of Play: REZ 1.13 Rating, hampus 1.97, Nawwk 1.04, Plopski 1.02, twist 0.89.

H2H Data:

*These two teams faced off just four days ago in the opener of this Event, and V.Pro swept them pretty convincingly with a run of 16-6 on Inferno, and 16-5 on Overpass. So, you could say there is a little bit of a revenge narrative here for NiP.

*Top Performers for V.PRO (2 Maps): Jame +26 K-D Diff, 1.64 Rating, 89.8 ADR. Buster +18 K-D Diff, 1.53 Rating, 94.7 ADR. Qikert +20 K-D Diff, 1.47 Rating, 79.7 ADR. YEKINDAR +9 K-D Diff, 1.43 Rating, 94.8 ADR. (SANJI even finished +3 K-D Diff)

*Top Performers for NiP (2 Maps). Plopski came the closest by far to a positive stat-line with a -2 K-D Diff, 0.90 Rating, 74.0 ADR.

MAPS:

*The first two ban maps for this match should include Dust2 for NiP and Nuke for V.Pro. I think there is a good chance we see V.Pro go right back to Inferno, as Dust2 will be banned as their typical first map choice, and I think we see NiP go with Vertigo.

*V.Pro on Inferno (12 Maps): Jame 1.13 Rating, 0.65 KPR, 0.90 IMP, 71.6 ADR. Buster 1.10, YEKINDAR 1.07, qikert 1.05, SANJI 1.00. On Vertigo (7 Maps): YEKINDAR 1.19 rating, 0.75 KPR, 1.49 IMP, 84.3 ADR. Buster 1.14, jame 1.09, SANJI 0.98, qikert 0.98.

*NiP on Vertigo (5 Maps) REZ 1.12 Rating, 0.72 KPR, 1.14 IMP, 82.3 ADR. Hampus 1.07, nawwk 0.95, Plopski 0.95, twist 0.94. On Inferno (3 Maps): Plopski 1.33 Rating, 0.91 KPR, 1.33 IMP, 91.3 ADR. Nawwk 1.18, twist 0.98, REZ 0.86, hampus 0.77.

Analysis: The problem here is that I actually do not think the first match was a fluke, and I even threw in the rust factor for NiP. I really think this V.Pro team is really good through-and-through and obviously so do the oddsmakers. This seems to me like it could turn into a three-mapper, but it’s going to have to rely on NiP having nawwk playing lights-out as he did yesterday. I like V.Pro to win.

Fnatic (Ranked 16th in World) @ Cloud9 (Ranked 19th in World)

Betting Odds: fnatic -250/C9 +185

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +105/Under -140

*This is a best of three quarter-final match for the CS_Summit 7 Event.

*fnatic For Event: KRIMZ 1.29 Rating, Brollan 1.18, Golden 0.95, Jackinho 0.92, JW 0.91.

*Cloud9 For the Event: floppy 1.08 Rating, mezii 1.06, ALEX 1.02, es3tag 1.03, Xeppaa 0.95.

*fnatic Over the Last Three Months of Play: Jackinho 1.21 Rating, Brollan 1.17, KRIMZ 1.14, JW 1.09, Golden 0.91.

*Cloud9 Over the Last Three Months of Play: Xeppaa 1.06 Rating, es2tag 1.03, floppy 1.03, ALEX 1.00, mezii 0.99.

H2H Data:

*These two teams have not had the luxury of playing each other anytime recently.

MAPS:

*The first two ban maps for this match should include Mirage for Cloud9 and Nuke for fnatic. Cloud9 has found a favorite in Overpass lately after their favorite in Nuke will be banned, while fnatic continues to roll out Inferno.

*fnatic on Inferno (5 Maps): Jackinho (2 Maps): 1.31 Rating, 0.76 KPR, 1.28 IMP, 85.1 ADR. Brollan 1.15, KRIMZ 1.13, JW 1.03, Golden 0.91. On Overpass (6 Maps): Jackinho (1 Map): 1.66 Rating, 0.92 KPR, 1.63 IMP, 101.9 ADR. Brollan 1.22, KRIMZ 1.21, JW 1.12, Golden 0.91.

*Cloud9 on Overpass (4 Maps): es3tag 1.18 Rating, 0.73 KPR, 1.23 IMP, 88.7 ADR. Mezii 1.12, Xeppaa 1.10, ALEX 0.98, floppy 0.91. On Inferno (4 Maps): Xeppaa 1.17 Rating, 0.74 KPR, 1.06 IMP, 80.7 ADR. Floppy 1.02, mezii 1.02, es3tag 1.00, ALEX 0.98.

Analysis: Truly think that Cloud9’s strongest map is Nuke and fnatic is too good to allow them to have it. What this means is that now C9 will be having to play on a secondary map, and I think fnatic know that and have a good idea of what map pool they have. I just think that fnatic has looked way too damn good for this Event so far and KRIMZ is playing like a man on a mission. Give me fnatic 2-0.

OG (Ranked 7th in World) @ Heroic (Ranked 6th in World)

*OG For Event: valde 1.20 Rating, mantuu 1.12, ISSAA 1.09, NBK 1.04, Aleksib 0.93.

*Heroic For Event: TeSeS 1.13 Rating, stavn 1.11, cadiaN 1.10, niko 1.01, b0RUP 0.99.

*OG Over the Last Three Months of Play: valde 1.10 Rating, mantuu 1.11, ISSAA 1.02, NBK 1.01, Aleksib 1.0.1

*Heroic Over the Last Three Months of Play: stavn 1.11 Rating, TeSeS 1.07, caidiaN 1.05, niko 1.01, b0RUP 0.92.

H2H Data:

*These two teams have played three times in 2020 with Heroic sweeping the last two and OG winning the latter OG winning in a 2-1 result.

*Heroic vs OG (7 Maps): TeSeS +22 K-D Diff, 1.16 K-D, 1.11 Rating. Niko +12 K-D Diff, 1.09 K-D, 1.16 Rating.

*OG vs Heroic (7 Maps): mantuu +10 K-D DIff, 1.08 K-D, 1.00 Rating. Both Valde and ISAA are both +0.

MAPS:

*The first two ban maps for this match should be Dust2 for Heroic and Vertigo for OG. OG has consistently gone with Inferno nearly 43%, while Nuke has chosen Nuke 33% of the time lately.

*Heroic on Nuke (8 Maps) stavn 1.15 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.17 IMP, 88.3 ADR. Niko 1.05, cadiaN 1.04, b0RUP 0.97, TeSeS 0.97. Heroic on Inferno (5 Maps): TeSeS 1.08 Rating, 0.72 KPR, 1.02 IMP, 75.1 ADR. Stavn 1.06, cadiaN 1.04, niko 0.98, b0RUP 0.82.

*OG on Inferno (13 Maps): valde 1.23 Rating, 0.75 KPR, 1.23 IMP, 81.3 ADR. NBK 1.13, ISSAA 1.04, mantuu 1.02, Aleksib 0.96. On Nuke (5 Maps): Aleksib 1.28 Rating, 0.81 KPR, 1.46 IMP, 89.9 ADR. Valde 1.18, mantuu 1.07, ISSAA 1.00, NBK 0.96.

Analysis: I don’t agree with the odds here. I just don’t think that Heroic have been playing all that great and it just seems like OG, although have played in close matches basically this whole event, just find a way to win. They have been playing aggressive and tactical, and I somewhat think Heroic has cake-walked to this match. I like the dog here in OG.
