We are back for yet another Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault article for this Wednesday’s six game slate in the Association! There has already been some injury/resting news posted for today that will bring forth good value, so let’s discuss what we got for today!

DraftKings

1.) P.J. Washington PF/C (CHA) $5,400

Really taking the price discount on DraftKings with Washington here as he is $1K cheaper than FanDuel. Washington has dropped 39 and 40.5 DK fantasy points in his last two contests and has scored at least 14 or more points, grabbed eight and 12 boards, while also chipping in three blocks and four steals. He has taken 15 and 16 shot attempts as well, and I think we see a lot of up-and-down in this CHA/DAL game with some nice tempo. Not to mention that Washington is carrying the second-highest usage rate on the team at 23.0%, only behind Terry Rozier ’s 26.0% for the first three games of the season. Think he brings some nice value here at this price on DK and am not totally against using him on FanDuel even at the higher price.

2.) Enes Kanter C (POR) $4,400

It seems that Kanter is going to be a viable play on just about any slate going forward as he has found a nice reserve role here with Portland in relief for starting Center Jusuf Nurkic . Kanter has put up at least 22 or more DK fantasy points in all three games so far to start the season and is fresh off a 33 DK fantasy point outing against the Lakers where he recorded a nice double-double with 12 points, 14 boards, and a steal. As long as Kanter can get 20-22 minutes a night, I am totally fine paying sub-$4k price for him, as we know the kind of upside he can bring in short stints on the floor.

3.) Payton Pritchard PG (BOS) $3,400

It is Pritchard that has been getting most of the second-unit run over the last two games for the Celtics in front of who started out the season as the direct back-up to Smart in Jeff Teague . Pritchard has now played 25 and 23 minutes in the last two games, and the Celtics are already going to be without Tristan Thompson , while Jayson Tatum is listed as “questionable” to play, as well. Pritchard put up 13 points, two assists, and two steals in the most recent game against the Pacers, while shooting a perfect 5/5 from the field, with three-of-three from the perimeter. There is nothing official that Pritchard will be locked into these minutes, as the Celtics have been in blow-out type scenarios over the last two games when looking at the scores, and he only played 13 minutes in their first game that was a one point result. It does carry risk, and I would say he is a tournament play only.

FanDuel

1.) Brandon Clarke PF (MEM) $4,600

Loving the price on Clarke here tonight against a Boston team that will be short-handed in the frontcourt. Clarke is fresh off a 16 point, seven rebound, two assists, and one steal performance against the Nets that netted him 30.4 FanDuel points. Clarke has been slow to start the season, but it was very encouraging to see the 28 minutes of playing time in that Nets game. With Ja Morant now out for three to five weeks, there will be ample opportunities for other players to soak up some of that  33-34% usage rate that he was carrying, and I think one player that can benefit a little more is Clarke, who we saw step up in the last game that Morant went down in. Think he is a cheap option at the PF spot here on FD that many likely may not even look at.

2.) Tyler Herro SF (MIA) $4,500

Herro’s price really didn’t move much after he was left in basically the whole garbage time game against the Bucks last night after the Heat went down by 30 points. Herro contributed 23 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in route to 39.1 FanDuel points on the night. I have a feeling with Butler out once again, we may see a similar result as we did last night as they face-off once again tonight in a back-to-back set. Herro has played 32 or more minutes in all three games so far to start the season, and we know what he is capable of doing. It also seems that he is going to be “blow-out proof” here as he still was given 33 minutes even with the Heat down a bunch. Easy plug here at the SF spot on FD.

3.) Robert Williams C (BOS) $4,300

Got a good feeling that Landlord will likely be a pretty popular play on tonight’s slate with Tristan Thompson already ruled OUT for rest on the second-leg of the back-to-back against the Grizzlies tonight. Williams only played 10 minutes last night with Thompson playing the most minutes of the short season so far, but the game before against the Pacers Williams played 21 minutes and recorded 12 points, four rebounds, an assist, two blocks and a whopping four steals in route to 35.3 FanDuel points in that one. We can easily project Williams to likely see minutes in the 18-22 minute range here tonight and that makes him a very intriguing play at his small price on FanDuel, where he can easily rack up defensive stat fantasy points.
