We are back for the Fantasy Alarm NFL Injury Report for the Week 15 weekend games! There are some statuses that we need to monitor as we make our way into Sunday, so let’s discuss those now!

Calvin Ridley WR, ATL (Foot)

Ridley was only able to take the practice field in a limited capacity on Thursday as the Falcons prepare for their Week 15 match against the Buccaneers. With Julio Jones already ruled out, the Falcons will be in a world of hurt if Ridley is not able to take the field on Sunday either, but it doesn’t seem like he is in much danger of missing this one. He has continued his limited practiced from Wednesday on this week, and this bodes well for his availability Sunday.

A.J. Brown WR, TEN (Ankle)

We are getting quite used to Brown missing a day or two most weeks as the Titans prepare for their upcoming games, and this is once again the same situation here for Week 15. Brown was not seen at the Titans Thursday practice session, so we will need to hopefully see Brown re-take the practice field on Friday to be in line to take the field against the Lions on Sunday at home. Brown was limited on Wednesday before the day off on Thursday, so let’s just hope this was just another precautionary rest day and he will return on Friday. We will watch the practice reports for the Titans today.

Michael Thomas WR, NO (Ankle)

Another player that was not seen at their team’s respective Thursday practice session was Michael Thomas . This does make for the second practice session this week that MT has missed, and this could put some potential danger into his status as we approach the weekend and the Saints Week 15 tilt against the AFC-leading Chiefs. The big thing will be to see if Thomas is able to re-take the practice field on Friday in any limitation or capacity as we head into the weekend. Will want to make the Saint’s practice reports one to monitor as well today.

Antonio Gibson RB, WFT (Toe)

It was reported on Friday that Gibson was able to get on the practice field for some “position drills”, but his status for Sunday when the Football Team plays host to the Seahawks at home has yet to be deemed. The reports seem to think that his return to practice in any fashion, could potentially set Gibson up for a “game-time” call, but we will need to continue to monitor his status heading in the weekend.

Brandin Cooks WR, HOU (Neck)

It appears that Cooks was able to take the practice field for the Texans on Thursday in a limited capacity session. Obviously, the return to the practice field does put good vibes out for his chances of taking the playing field on Sunday when the Texans travel into Indianapolis to take on the Colts. Likely will need to see another practice session on Friday out of Cooks, and it would be even better if he is able to return into a full-practice session, but we will monitor the reports.

James Conner RB, PIT (Quad)

It appears that Conner is still hampered by the quad injury he sustained in the Steelers Week 14 tilt against the Bills and he has yet to be able to take the practice field in any capacity as the Steelers prepare for their Week 15 match up against the Bengals on the road. Conner still has a chance to re-take the practice field in the next two days and will likely need to show some vast signs of improvement to be cleared and good-to-go for Sunday, but we will watch the Steelers practice reports for the next couple of days on his status.

Raheem Mostert RB, SF (Ankle)

Lots of ankle injuries in the report today and we add another to keep an eye on here with Mostert. Mostert was able to partake in a limited-capacity practice session for the Niners on Thursday as they continue to prepare for their Week 15 clash against the Cowboys on Sunday. With Thursday being his only practice session logged so far for this week, likely will need to check in on the Niners practice reports on Friday to see if he is able to have a full practice session, but a limited one will do for now. Hopefully there is no setbacks, and this could likely mean that Mostert will be able to play on Sunday. We will continue to monitor.

Damien Harris RB, NE (Ankle)

What do you know? Another ankle injury. Harris was added to the NFL injury report on Thursday after only logging a partial, or limited practice session for the first time this week as the Patriots prepare for their Week 15 showdown against the Dolphins. It has yet to be deemed the severity of the ankle issue and seeing as how he was able least able to re-take the practice field in preparation for the Sunday game, could bode well for his availability. We will keep an eye on his practice participation over the next two days.

Matthew Stafford QB, DET (Ribs/Thumbs)

Stafford will miss Friday’s practice session for the Lions according to reports out of Lions coaching staff. This also means that Stafford has yet been able to take the practice field in any capacity for the whole week. This does not bode well for Stafford’s chances of taking the playing field on Sunday when the Lions travel into Tennessee to take on the Titans. We can likely expect Stafford to sit in this one with no practice sessions logged this week.
