NaVi @ MAD Lions

Betting Odds: NaVi -325/MAD +230

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +115/Under -150

*This match is the Group A upper bracket quarter-final for the Europe Region.

*MAD have been working their way through some lower tier matches since the rebuild of the team with the exit of Bubzkji and AcillioN, and have done quite well winning four of their last five matches, but dropped their most recent match in a best of one to Wisla Krakow in a 1-2 result. NaVi have only won two of their last five matches, and have dropped two of their last three, but both losses coming to OG in a sweep and 1-2 result.

*NaVi Over the Last Month of Play (25 Maps): s1mple 1.23 Rating, electronic 1.03 Rating, Perfecto 1.01 Rating, flamie 0.97 Rating, Boombl4 0.97 Rating.

*MAD Over the Last Month of Play (13 Maps): acoR 1.33 Rating, refrezh 1.28 Rating, roeJ 1.13 Rating, sjuush 1.10 Rating, HooXi 1.00 Rating.

*These two did play back in DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Event in June, however this was when MAD had their other core, but we can look at top players from this match.

*For NaVi – s1mple +38 K-D Diff, 130.8 ADR, 2.11 Rating. Electronic +22 K-D Diff, 95.9 ADR, 1.55 Rating. Perfecto +7 K-D Diff, 74.2 ADR, 1.14 Rating.

*For MAD – sjuush had best line (behind Bubz), and it wasn’t great at -7 K-D Diff, 83.7 ADR, 0.87 Rating.

MAPS:

*MAD is going to ban Dust2, which is NaVi’s usual first pick. MAD is going with Nuke as their first pick and think we see this one. I think we see with NaVi go with their secondary map of Train.

*NaVi on Train L3 Months (10 Maps): s1mple 1.40 Rating, 0.94 KPR, 1.41 IMP, 90.1 ADR. Boombl4 1.06 Rating, electronic 1.05 Rating, Perfecto 0.98 Rating, flamie 0.94 Rating. On Train (6 Maps) acoR 1.26 Rating, 0.82 KPR, 1.28 IMP, 78.6 ADR. roeJ 1.15 Rating, refrezh 1.11 Rating, sjuush 1.10 Rating, HooXi 1.04 Rating.

Complexity @ Fnatic

Betting Odds: Complexity -170/Fnatic +130

Map Odds: 2.5 Over -120/Under -110

*This match is also a Group A upper bracket quarter-final match out of the Europe region.

*Both of these teams have been on somewhat of a skid, but Complexity slipped in a 2-0 sweep over FaZe in their next to most recent before getting swept by BIG in their most recent match. The jks era for Complexity has started 1-2. Fnatic have lost three straight and three of their last five matches. Losing a reverse-sweep to BIG in their most recent with 1-2 losses to NiP and Astralis as well.

*For Complexity Over the Last Month (11 Maps): blameF 1.24 Rating, jks 1.07 Rating, poizon 1.06 Rating, k0nfig 1.02 Rating, RUSH 0.91 Rating.

*For fnatic Over the Last Month (26 Maps): Brollan 1.09 Rating, KRIMZ 1.06 Rating, flusha 1.02 Rating, Golden 0.96 Rating, JW 0.95 Rating.

*These two have played four times recently in 2020 (none with jks for Comp) and fnatic has won three of three of the four. Half the matches went three maps, with fnatic claiming the only sweeps in two of their three wins.

*Complexity vs Fnatic (12 Maps): blameF +52 K-D Diff, 1.24 K-D, 1.20 Rating. Only positive player for the sample.

*fnatic vs Complexity (12 Maps): Brollan +38 K-D Diff, 1.16 K-D, 1.18 Rating. KRIMZ +18 K-D Diff, 1.08 K-D, 1.07 Rating. JW +16 K-D Diff, 1.07 K-D, 1.11 Rating.

MAPS:

*Nuke has shown up the most with three of the four matches, while Mirage, Vertigo, and Train have shown up twice in those four as well.

*Complexity will likely continue their trend with Nuke, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see them go with Mirage either as it has become a popular map for them lately. Fnatic should likely go with Inferno, but Complexity has banned it the last two matches they have played, thus resulting them to Train, so this I could see happening once again.

*Complexity on Nuke (17 Maps): blameF 1.22 Rating, 0.72 KPR, 1.26 IMP, 82.8 ADR. K0nfig 1.06 Rating, poizon 1.04 Rating, RUSH 1.01. Rating, jks 0.97 Rating (small sample). On Train (5 Maps): poizon 1.17 Rating, 0.81 KPR, 1.33 IMP, 78.2 ADR. blameF 1.15 Rating, k0nfig 1.03 Rating, RUSH 0.88 Rating. (jks has yet to play with Compl on this map)

*fnatic on Train (7 Maps): KRIMZ 1.33 rating, 0.86 KPR, 1.37 IMP, 95.2 ADR. Brollan 1.06 Rating, flusha 1.01 Rating, JW 0.87 Rating, Golden 0.86 Rating. On Nuke (7 Maps) Brollan 1.01 Rating, 0.73 KPR, 1.08 IMP, 74.0 ADR. KRIMZ 0.97 Rating, flusha 0.96 Rating, JW 0.91 Rating, Golden 0.88 Rating.

New England Whalers @ Chaos

Betting Odds: Chaos -275/Whalers +195

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +100/Under -140

*This is a Group A opening match for the North America region.

*Both of these teams come into this one winning three of their last four matches. Chaos are on a two-match win streak after beating TeamOne and Rugratz, while the Whalers were losers in their most recent match to TeamOne in a reverse sweep but won three-straight prior to that loss.

*For the Whalers Over the Last Month (28 Maps): PwnAlone 1.22 Rating, Bwillis 1.22 Rating, djay 1.09 Rating, Rampage 1.00 Rating, ben1337 0.92 Rating.

*For Chaos Over Last Month (16 Maps): Xeppaa 1.27 Rating, leaf 1.15 Rating, vanity 1.08 Rating, Jonji 1.04 Rating, MarKE 1.01 Rating.

*These two teams have played thrice in 2020, with Chaos winning all three. The most recent match saw the full three-map distance.

*The Whalers have no players in the positive stat-lines for the 6-Map Sample.

*Chaos vs Whalers (6 Maps): Jonji +22 K-D Diff, 1.20 K-D, 1.22 Rating. vanity +21 K-D Diff, 1.22 K-D, 1.09 Rating. leaf +17 K-D Diff, 1.15 K-D, 1.18 Rating. Xeppaa +16 K-D Diff, 1.16 K-D, 1.15 Rating.

MAPS:

*Dust2, Overpass, and Train all were the maps played in the three matches. (two best of three and one best of one).

*Really random that these two teams have not played to their strength maps in the last two matches even after banning the same two maps in both as well. I believe we see Overpass once again for Whalers and Train for Chaos.

*Chaos on Train (7 Maps): Xeppaa 1.23 Rating, 0.79 KPR, 1.12 IMP, 84.5 ADR. Vanity 1.21 Rating, MarKE 1.12 Rating, leaf 1.07 Rating, Jonji 1.03 Rating. On Overpass (6 Maps): leaf 1.33 Rating, 0.86 KPR, 1.47 IMP, 92.6 ADR. Jonji 1.25 Rating, Xeppaa 1.24 Rating, vanity 1.11 Rating, MarKE 1.10 Rating.
