We are back, FANation! This is your Wednesday, February 26th edition of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! We have a large 9-game slate on tap for tonight in the Association, and there has already been some news come out that has opened some value, so let’s dive in!

DRAFTKINGS

1. Aron Baynes ($3,100)- The minutes were already trending up for Baynes over his past three games since returning, as he saw 11 on his return night, saw 13 the next game, and finally 16 in the Sun’s most recent game. With Kelly Oubre out, vacating lots of minutes and usage for the PF spot for the Suns, must believe that Baynes will at least get 20 minutes out of the deal, if not more, as their only line of roster space for the PF spot other than Baynes includes Dario Saric . Saric could potentially get the start, but not to worry, Bayes at near min price with 16+ mins should get you what you need. Baynes showed up nicely in his last game, scoring nine points, grabbing eight boards, and dishing one dime in just those short 16 mins, and they will need his size to match up with Kawhi, PG13 and company with Clippers coming to town.

2. Jakob Poeltl ($3,200)- Poeltl has been in play just about every single instance that has arisen when LaMarcus Aldridge has been ruled out so far, this season. He is a fantasy point per minute machine, as his last two games he has seen only 13 and 16 minutes, while also putting up 19.5 and 23.8 DK points, so imagine what he will do with 25-28 minutes tonight in what we hope will be a spot-start for LMA. In an 851-minute sample with LMA off the court, Jakob is featuring a 1.13 FP/M, also gets a 0.5% usage boost, which doesn’t mean much, as he isn’t a high usage player, he just takes advantage of his opportunities very well when on the floor. Even if he doesn’t start, could easily see him get nice run off the bench to match up with Kristaps Porzingis of Dallas.

3. Garrett Temple ($4,400)- Never thought I would write an article that has Garrett Temple as my top-price DK play, or feature, but here we are. All jokes aside, Temple has played well lately, and has been given quite a bit of run to boot. He has now played 25 or more minutes in his last five straight, while also producing at least 17 or more DK points in all five, with his last two contests going for 38.2 and 32 DK points as well. He gets a nice pace-up spot here tonight, as the Nets will travel to Washington to take on the Wiz, who have run with top five PACE all season long, and this game has a total of 236.

FANDUEL

1. Moritz Wagner ($3,900)- With Bertans looking shaky to hit the floor tonight with a questionable-tag, Moritz could be a nice play, especially on FD where his price is $600 cheaper than DK. Even at the $4.5K tag on DK, could still make a case for Wagner if Bertans does fully sit. Mo played 28 minutes in the Wizards last game, which resulted in a 27.5 FD point effort off an eight point, 10 rebounds, and five assist stat-line. We know the Nets have notoriously struggled against opposing Bigs in the past, as well as this season, thus making Moritz just a bit more appealing in this fast-paced affair in Washington tonight.

2. Furkan Korkmaz ($4,100)- Wanted to have Kork on the DK side, but he is literally too cheap as is on FanDuel. Kork will continue to see extended run as one of the first player options off the bench for the Sixers, as he was the only bench player to see over 16 minutes in the Sixers more recent outing. Since Simmons has been side-lined, Kork has now played 25 and 31 minutes over the Sixer’s last two contests, while producing moderate FD point totals of 24.5 and 26.2. IF you get Kork on a good shooting night when his three-ball is falling like rain, he can put up fantasy points in heaps.

3. Gorgui Dieng ($4,500)- Love Dieng once again tonight, as the Grizz are now without both Jaren Jackson Jr., and Brandon Clarke for tonight’s tilt in Houston against the Rockets. Don’t mind the price on Dieng for both sites tonight, as he has been a producer since the injury to Jaren, and now will continue to see stable run with Clarke out as well. However, we will take the slight price dip on FD, as he is $700 cheaper on FD than DK tonight. Dieng has now seen 20 and 28 minutes over his last two games, putting up 32 and 40 FD points as well in those two, and his four total blocks, and three total steals will absolutely help his value on FD tonight against a Rockets team that is starting P.J. Tucker at the Center spot.
