FANation! We are back once again for another edition of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! There have already been a couple changes in today’s landscape with Kemba Walker sitting, Aaron Gordon going through shoot-around, and I am sure we will see some more shake-up later this afternoon, BUT we have some value to talk about first…

DRAFTKINGS

1.) Tobias Harris ($6,600)- Getting a cheap Tobias here tonight in what I feel is a bounce-back spot. He is off two of his worst fantasy point efforts of the season after only putting up 15 and 21 FPs in his last two. However, in the prior two road games, he amassed both 44.3 and 54.3 fantasy points respectively. Tonight, he gets a HOU D that has been absolutely dreadful against the SF position, allowing the most to the spot on the season. Take the small price on Toby in a pace-up spot here against the Rockets.

2.) Ish Smith ($4,200)- Ish is back to out-playing starting PG Isaiah Thomas once again. He has actually seen more floor-time over the past two games than IT has, playing 28 and 31 minutes in the Wizard’s last two. He has made the most of it, putting up 23.3, 37.3, 24.3, and 30.5 FPs in his last four out of five games. It is also pertinent to mention he has taken double-digit shot attempts in his last five straight, and that is very encouraging, as he gets a nice paced game tonight with the Blazers who struggle to defend the guard position.

3.) Josh Hart ($3,900)- I just feel this price is a bit too short with the Pelicans returning to Hart’s old stomping ground in LA to take on the Lakers tonight. Although Hart hasn’t been producing much fantasy-wise lately, he is still seeing nice mins, playing 26, 26, and 30 mins over his last three contests. He has topped 21 FPs in two of those three, and obviously we could see him having a little extra fuel tonight playing against his old team in a revenge spot.

FANDUEL

1.) Lonzo Ball ($5,300)- Let’s take the smaller price on Ball over on FD tonight. He also is returning to LA to face his former team as is Hart. Ball went for 57 FD points in his last time out against the Rockets, and has accrued nine total steals over his last five games. He has played 30 or more minutes in his last three, while going for at least 24 or more FPs in his last four of five as well. I’ll take a chance on Ball at this price on FD.

2.) Marcus Smart ($5,100)- Smart will likely start in place of starting PG Kemba Walker who has already been ruled out. Smart has played two games since returning from an eye infection, and played 23 and 30 mins in those two. He was also able to put up 26 and 22 FD fantasy points in those two, bigly in part to his four total steals over that span. We know Smart is excellent on the defensive side, and playing the Hawks should help pad those stats in a fast-paced game. Like the spot, and should see another 30+ minute outing.

3.) Kyle Kuzma ($4,800)- Kuz also has a fairer price over on FD compared to DK, and we will take it. Kuz has saw 21 or minutes in his last five straight, putting up 28.3, 30.3, 32.8, and 27.8 FD fantasy points in four of his last five contests. Gets a nice pace-up match up here against the Pelicans at home, and should have a lovely match up against the second unit where he should easily have some success.
