Cash Strategy For The Main Event

Max Holloway ($8,900): 21-6-0, 5'11" Height, 69-inch Reach, 6.66 significant strikes per minute, 4.45 strikes absorbed per minute

Calvin Kattar ($7,300): 22-4-0, 5'11" Height, 72-inch Reach, 5.29 significant strikes per minute, 6.46 strikes absorbed per minute

The new scoring on DK will take away some of the stackability of fights. Significant strikes are worth 20% less (0.5 down to 0.4). However, all strikes are now worth 0.2 points. Significant strikes carry more weight as they're worth 0.4 points. That makes winners and grappling control somewhat more important. I’m still leaning towards stacking the main event, though. Both guys are super durable. Both warm up as fights go on. I see very high volume coming.

Fight To Target For GPP's

Dusko Todorovic ($8,500): 10-0-0, 6'1" Height, 74-inch Reach, six of last seven professional wins have come in the first two rounds.

Punahele Soriano ($7,700): 7-0-0, 5'11" Height, 74.5-inch Reach, six of seven total wins came in Round 1.

*Both fighters went to Decision in their Contender Series debuts.

Dusko Todorovic vs Punahele Soriano should be fireworks. My gut says Dusko controls the brawler and racks up strikes and control time. Soriano packs a wallop, however. It only takes one hard shot to change a fight entirely. The winner is a must own at the prices.

Leverage Wildcard

Sarah Moras ($9,100): 6-6-0, 5'7" Height, 67-inch Reach, has lost five of last seven fights and only lands 1.85 significant strikes per minute.

Vanessa Melo ($7,100): 10-8-0, 5'5" Height, 65-inch Reach, has lost all three of her fights in the UFC via decision, with minimal volume and ground control.

Given the price and track record of Sarah Moras it’s understandable that people are shying away from her. Vanessa Melo has not been good in the UFC but has fought good opponents. We’ll find out if she should be cut in a loss to Moras. The path to Moras on the optimal lineup is via a first or second round submission.
