With KeSPA Finals around the corner, DAMWON Gaming and NS Redforce have made the playoffs exciting, both teams only dropping one game to their competition. Here is the run down on the two teams who are looking to take the grand prize of ?40,000,000 (approx. $37,000 USD.)

DAMWON Gaming Captain

Ghost ($17,700)

Since his entry into the LCK in 2019, Ghost has been a player who has consistently improved. First joining a high-level competitive team with SANDBOX Gaming, he managed to lead his team to some ranks that people at the time were not predicting. After leaving SANDBOX Gaming, he joined Damwon Gaming where we saw this team dominate not just the majority of the LCK but also at the World Championship tournament hosted in 2020. Ghost gets our ranking for his consistent performances not just in summer 2020 LCK or Worlds, but also simply for his performance in KeSPA Cup currently. Looking simply at his stats, Ghost manages to have one of the better KDA’s in the entire tournament out of the ADC’s while maintaining a KPAR of 66.7%. Despite his high cost, Ghost becomes an asset to any draft which is why he earns our recommendation.

Alternatives to consider: Canyon ($15,900)

NS Redforce Captain

Deokdam ($15,000)

Deokdam deserves to be on this list due to his performance in the KeSPA tournament. Watching his games alone you can tell that he is aware of more than just his lane but is constantly the teammate making early rotations to objectives or fights across the map. This is backed with evidence from his statistics where he has a 72.6% KPAR which is in the top three highest KPAR’s in the entire tournament. This guy also has the highest Gold per Minute statistic out of anyone in the tournament at a 478 record. Similar to my reasoning for Peanut, Deokdam must perform in order for his team to have a chance at victory, but if there is anyone to bet your money on that could pull it off, it would be Deokdam.

Alternatives to consider: Peanut ($12,300)

NS Redforce Flex

Peanut ($8,200)

Peanut is a world-renowned jungler who has shown tremendous ability to lead his team to victory time and time again. He has also shown a wide variety of champions in his kit from Ekko, Nidalee, and Taliyah to more standard junglers such as Graves, Olaf, and Hecarim. Picking this player means you’re choosing him over Canyon for Damwon, but I believe that there are valid reasons to make this decision. In all his performances, Peanut managed to shut down the enemy jungler in the majority of the games. This opened opportunities for his team to capitalize on small advantages and ultimately take games off of teams to make it to the finals. If NS Redforce has a chance of beating Damwon in the finals, it will be through playing off the back of Peanut.

Alternatives to consider: Bay ($9,400)

DAMWON Gaming Flex

Khan ($8,800)

I consider Khan to be a bit of a steal with his cost being rated this low. Looking at this guy and his performance in the tournament, he manages to have the best KDA out of all the top lane players, while being one of the best CS/Min players in the league. He plays a variety of champions that all have massive impact on team-play. Considering Damwon’s performance and record in the most recent tournaments, betting on this team and specifically this player has high chance of success.
