Truex’s 703 laps in the top 15 ranks ninth among 42 drivers and is 70.9 percent of his available laps. This is yet another stat that reveals he has run well despite a spate of problems at the ends of races. Truex has been ranked among the top 10 in two of the first four races with 212 of 267 laps inside the top 15 at Vegas and 185 of 200 at Auto Club.

Ryan Blaney has a Driver Rating of 91.8 through Week 4 of the 2020 season according to NASCAR Statistical Services.
Blaney’s Driver Rating of 91.8 ranks eighth among 38 drivers. This is one of the statistics that points to his strength so far. Before being eliminated at Phoenix, he had ratings of seventh or better in the first three races. His Driver Rating at Las Vegas and Auto Club were both in the top three. Blaney will return to action as one of the most highly valued players in Fantasy NASCAR.

Bubba Wallace has earned one top-10 through the first four weeks of the 2020 season.
Wallace’s 2020 top-10 came in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas after he started deep in the field in 27th. It was aided by some strategy at the end of the race, but it’s not the only sign of strength he’s shown this season. Wallace finished on the lead lap in three of the first four races and has three top-20s as a result.

Chris Buescher has recorded six fastest laps through Week 4 of the 2020 season.
Buescher’s six fastest laps ranks 30th among 42 drivers and is 0.7% of the available laps for him. He is tied with Reed Sorenson and Brennan Poole for the 30th rank. Michael McDowell has an average finish of 22.00 through Week 4 of the 2020 season.
McDowell’s average finish of 22.00 ranks 25th among 38 drivers with two or more starts this year. McDowell has only one top-15 finish in 2020, which came in the wild card Daytona 500. But he has been a consistently good value for a driver at his level with a 16th-place finish at Phoenix and a 22nd at Auto Club. McDowell should be considered a solid mid-cap option.

Cole Custer has an average Green Flag Speed rank of 21.00 on non-plate tracks, according to data from NASCAR Statistical Services. Data from Daytona is not meaningful since it reflects drafting speed.
Custer’s average Green Flag Speed rank of 21.00 places him 22nd among 38 drivers; his average finish is 15.33. Equally important, Custer has finished better than his ranking in all three unrestricted races this year. This is important because it not only reveals that he has the speed in his Stewart-Haas Racing ride, but is more than capable of using it.

Clint Bowyer has earned one top-five and two top-10s so far in 2020.
With one top-five and two top-10s, Bowyer ranks sixth on this chart. Bowyer finished sixth in the Daytona 500, but he struggled over the next two weeks – despite scoring an impressive 12th at Vegas. Bowyer seemed to recapture his momentum at Phoenix in the last race before the COVID-19 break, however, with a fifth.
