Welcome to the 2020 NASCAR season!

If you love fast cars, loud engines, and intense racing, this is just the place for you to turn those loves into DFS success with #FANation and the NASCAR Pro Package! How will we turn that into success you might ask? Well, to begin with, our team is headlined by a two-time finalist for and 2018 winner of the FSWA Racing Writer of the Year award in Matt Selz! Next, we back up those award-winning credentials with the best coverage week-to-week in the industry.

If you’re new to DFS NASCAR, first things first…welcome to the best sweat in DFS week-after-week. Secondly, we have prepared an Intro to DFS NASCAR piece that covers all of the rules on both FanDuel and Draft Kings, and how the game works. It also offers basic strategies for each site for both cash games and GPP tournaments.

As for weekly coverage, the plan is as follows:

NASCAR Track Breakdown and Hot Pass Video – Wednesday release

These will give you all the stats you need to know with regard to how every driver in the field has done at that week’s race and track over the past several races, as well as breaking down exactly how they’ve done in DFS scoring as well so you can easily start to target the drivers you want to play for the week. The Hot Pass goes even further and focuses on five specific drivers to play or avoid for the week.

NASCAR Weekly Rankings – Thursday release (NEW to 2020 coverage)

Need help translating the Track Breakdown stats into how drivers compare to one another? That’s what the Weekly Rankings will help with as they will show how each driver fits for both DraftKings and FanDuel contests and also Cash and GPP formats for those sites based on each site’s scoring rules. The initial rankings will be based strictly off of stats in the Track Breakdown but will be updated throughout the week based on news, practice, and qualifying results.

Practice Reports -- Friday release

The Practice Reports for both practices and qualifying sessions will be written and posted within minutes of the sessions ending. How did a driver look in practice? What was wrong with their car? Did someone crash? How was the track handling? Who ranked where in different speed metrics? All of those are answered with the practice reports and a tool that was introduced last season called the Practice to Qualifying Table that gives an idea of who went faster at practice than where they qualified and vice versa. They are updated which each session so all of them are in one easy to scan article making it easy to track adjustments for particular drivers throughout the weekend.

Fantasy Alarm NASCAR Projections – Friday/Saturday release (NEW for 2020 coverage)

Coming early in the 2020 season, our projections will give you one more way to evaluate the field of drivers for the week. They will be released once the practices and qualifying sessions have been run and then updated post-inspection if anything changes with starting spots in the field. Being able to pair the projections with salaries to find value as well as the analysis in the playbooks will raise your DFS NASCAR game to another level.
