All four of these rank 35th or 37th, but Sorenson managed to surge at the right time at Phoenix and scored his first top-30 of the year.

With 345 Quality Passes, Busch is ranked seventh among 41 drivers. This is another statistic that shows Busch’s consistency. He has recorded fastest lap in all four races with rankings between sixth and 15th. His best outing was in the Daytona 500 with 182 passes in the churn of the draft.

Larson’s nine fastest laps ranks 24th among 42 drivers. His best race in this regard came at Las Vegas in the Pennzoil 400 when he put five in the bank and was ranked 10th as a result. The only time so far this year that Larson has not scored a fastest lap in a race was at Phoenix in the most recent event.

Chastain’s 383 laps in the top 15 ranks 19th among 42 drivers and is 38.6 percent of his available laps. His best race in this regard came at Las Vegas when he spent 149 laps in close contact with the leaders. So far this year, Chastain has not failed to post at least 40 laps in the top 15 in a race.

Wallace’s 44 Quality Passes ranks him 28th among 41 drivers. Wallace has made a pass for a top-15 position in all four races this year. His greatest performance came in the Daytona 500 with the surge and wane of the draft, but he also recorded six at Auto Club – a race he finished 27th.
