Joe WieskampIOWAPSU830029.5720027.03
Joe Wieskamp has been on a roll lately for the Iowa Hawkeyes. He has posted 30+ fantasy points in each of his last 5 games on each platform. Penn St actually ranks 57th in adjusted defense but they shouldn't be able to handle Iowa's offensive arsenal. Keep in mind while Wieskamp is G/F eligible in DK, he is only listed as a forward in FD.
Franz WagnerMICHOSU780030.66820028.94
Franz Wagner is worthy of being a top priced guard due to his well rounded game and that he has a great matchup. Wagner is averaging 12.9 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.1 bpg and 1.4 spg. In a game that features two teams that rank 7th and 3rd in KenPom's offensive efficiency, expect a high scoring game. Wagner should have his hand prints all over this one.
Quentin GrimesHOUCIN740030.89780028.18
The Houston Cougars are coming off a 3-game road trip they'd like to forget and their lead guard Quentin Grimes did as well. The Cougars surprisingly dropped 2 of the 3 games, in the win Grimes had 29 points and in the two loses he combined for 20. Houston now returns home against a rebuilding Cincinnati team, look for the Cougars and Grimes to bounce back. A nice paydown option is teammate Marcus Sasser ($6500 DK / $6100 FD),
Nate JohnsonXAVBUT710023,3
Never thought I'd include Gardner Webb transfer Nate Johnson in the top priced guards but I love his matchup Sunday. Butler gives up the three ball at a 36.7% clip from the opposition, which is music to Johnson's ears. Johnson is shooting 48.3% from 3 and that is on close to 6 attempts per game. Johnson could be in for a big day.

Duane Washington Jr.OSUMICH670024.14560021.51
Duane Washington Jr. is averaging over 16.75 ppg in his last 4 contests and look for that to continue in this one. Again this Michigan Ohio St game should be high scoring and Washington has been the Buckeyes best scoring option from the guard position.
Geo BakerRUMD550021.18580019.65
In Rutgers' 9 wins with Geo Baker in the lineup the guard is averaging 11.4 ppg. He also had a nice game in the first game against Maryland with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Rutgers could really use a win and they have been good again at home this year, look for Baker to have a nice night for a good price.
Boo BuieNWWISC400019.53
Boo Buie has really struggled pretty much throughout Northwestern's 12-game losing streak. However he still averages 9 ppg and 4.3 apg on the year and is at a bargain price. In the first game against WIsconsin he was solid with 9 points and 5 assists, but lets see if he reclaim that magic he had in the beginning of Big Ten play, where he averaged 18 ppg during a three game stretch. Take a flyer on Buie in a DK cash game.

Other Guards to Consider

  • Aaron Wiggins- Maryland- $8000 DK / $6500 FD
  • Keith Williams- Cincinnati- $6800 DK / $7200 FD
  • Marcus Sasser- Houston- $6500 DK / $6100 FD
  • Izaiah Brockington- Penn St- $6100 DK / $6400 FD
  • Brad Davison- Wisconsin- $4600 DK

Luka GarzaIOWAPSU940042.69920040.23
Yesterday we spoke about how IU's Trayce Jackson-Davis was matchup proof, well the same can be said for Garza. Consider this Luka Garza has yet to have a game where he had less than 20 fantasy points, and he has eclipsed 30 fantasy points in all but two games! Incredible stuff from Garza, look for more of the same so try to squeeze him in on any game on either platform.
Zach FreemantleXAVBUTLE850032.83
Zach Freemantle has dominated in his last two games. The forward posted a total of 93.8 fantasy points against St. Johns and UConn. In the first game against Butler he was held to only 25.5 fantasy points with a 6 point, 10 rebound performance. In Xavier's first meeting with St. Johns Freemantle only 5 points but responded with a 22 point 10 rebound performance in the rematch. Look for Freemantle to have a better outing than his 25.5 fantasy point output in the first game vs the Bulldogs.
E.J. LiddellOSUMICH770029.50740027.95
E.J. Liddell has been the most consistent performer for the Buckeyes, as he has been outstanding as OSU has climbed the rankings. In his last 9 games Liddell is averaging 18.2 ppg and 6.4 rpg. Again we expect this game to be high scoring so get the Buckeyes' star in your lineup.
Hunter DickinsonMICHOSU730028.60690026.71
Last weekend we put Hunter Dickinson in the playbook and he rewarded us with a dominate 11 point, 15 rebound and 5 block performance against Wisconsin. Hunter should enjoy a height advantage against Ohio St's forwards and should be able to reward you again this weekend.
Ron Harper Jr.RUMD690029.55760027.65
In DraftKings he has duel eligibility but on FanDuel he is listed as a guard. At 6-6 245 lbs I'm going to call him in the playbook as a forward. Harper is a bit pricey in FanDuel but he did enjoy a massive day the first time he faced the Terps this season. Harper Jr. had 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Think he is a good play in a cash game, as he could go off again.

Donta ScottMDRU660026.50610024.84
Donta Scott is another guy who had a massive day when Rutgers and Maryland last squared off. Scott had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists in the losing effort to the Scarlet Knights. Scott has struggled scoring the basketball as of late with 23 points in his last three games but his work on the glass still has made him a viable fantasy option. Think because of this his pricetag dropped which makes him a nice value play.
Kyle YoungOSUMICH620019.8500019.08
Promise this will be the last player featured in the Ohio St Michigan matchup. Kyle Young has had a part in the Buckeyes 7-game winning streak, scoring in double-figures in 3 of them. The most important part is that he has been on the floor a lot, averaging 27.4 mpg. In FanDuel he is a must play in a cash game.
Fabian White Jr.HOUCIN57005.2530004.70
This is a bit of a risky play but Fabian White Jr. could have great value in his second game back from injury. White Jr returned 9 months after a torn ACL to play 8 minutes, scoring 3 points and adding 1 assist and 1 rebound. Last season White Jr. averaged 9.3 ppg and 5.5 rpg for the Cougars. With Houston reeling lately they could really use his presence down low and expect Sampson to ramp up his minutes in this one. In FanDuel he could really help you afford someone like Garza.
Jack NungeIOWAPSU510019.6510018.34
Jack Nunge presents great value on both flatforms due to the fact that Penn St really doesn't have a 5-man that can defend the perimeter. Nunge has shot 50% from three over his last 6 games. Consider Nunge if you wanted to not pay top dollar for Garza.

Other Forwards to Consider

  • Justin Gorham- Houston- $7500 DK / $6000 FD
  • Myles Johnson- Rutgers- $7100 DK / $6800 FD
  • Micah Potter- Wisconsin- $6000 DK
  • Seth Lundy- Penn St- $4700 DK / $5300 FD
