Justin Champagnie | PITT | UVA | | | 9000 | 40.73 |
Even though he isn't on both slates, I'd be remisced to not including Pitt's Justin Champagnie into the playbook. Champagnie. Champagnie is a fantasy beast due to his elite ability at scoring (19.3 ppg) and rebounding (12.2 rpg). He averages a double-double per game and has acheived the feat in 8 of Pitt's 12 games. He has only produced under 30 fantasy points 3-times and has eclisped 60 POINTS twice. He is worth it in both GPP and Cash game contests for FanDuel. If you are looking for a paydown option, his brother Julian Champagnie ($8100, 33.64 fppg) is also a great player and has a good matchup against Providence. |
Ayo Dosunmu | IL | WISC | 8200 | 37.43 | 8200 | 34.77 |
Ayo Dosunmu is one of the best playmakers college basketball has to offer. The junior guard is averaging 21.2 ppg, 6.1 rpg and 4.6 apg. For this he ranks 5th in KenPom's offensive rating for players with a possession percentage of 28% or more. It is worth mentioning that he does have a tough matchup, as WIsconsin ranks 8th in KenPom's defensive efficiency but still believe he is worth a play in this one. Teammate Trent Frasier ($6500 DK / $4800 FD) is a nice paydown option, especially in a FD cash game. |
Cade Cunningham | OKST | UT | 7900 | 34.7 | 7900 | 31.69 |
After missing two games for OK St for an undisclosed reason Cade Cunningham returned last weekend and had a great game against Arkansas (21 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists). He followed that up with a less impressive 19 point, 2 rebound and 2 assist performance in a loss at TCU. For what it is worth Cunningham missed OK St's last opportunity for a signature win against Baylor, so look for him to be chomping at the bit for this game vs Texas. |
Herbert Jones | ALA | MIZZ | 7800 | 28.60 | 6600 | 26.44 |
Herb Jones just does too much on the basketball court for me to exclude him from the playbook. Jones is an absolute stat stuffer for the Crimson Tide. The senior guard/forward averages 12.1 ppg, 6 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.8 spg, and 1.1 blocks per game. Do keep in mind that he is fighting through a back injury and his last two games he's only scored a combined 11 points, granted he really wasn't needed in an 18-point win over LSU. With his mini slump his price has gone down a bit, especially in FanDuel, he can be a nice play amongst the higher priced guards. |

R.J. Cole | CONN | SHU | 7200 | 28.75 | 5800 | 23.45 |
R.J. Cole's emergence for the UConn Huskies has come just in time considering the elbow surgery for James Bouknight. Since UConn's long COVID pause Cole has put up good fantasy numbers scoring no less than 25 fantasy points in his last three games. He has picked up his scoring and has been a consistent distributor for the Huskies averaging 5 dimes per game. Be interested to see how he fares against a Seton Hall defense that made Providence's David Duke's life miserable in their last game. |
Myles Cale | SHU | CONN | 6500 | 20.97 | 4400 | 19.34 |
Myles Cale hasn't been the most consistent performer for the Seton Hall Pirates but when he's on, he's on. So that is why I'm riding the hot hand here. In his last 3 games Cale has hit the 30 point fantasy mark twice. Definitely get him in your lineup for a FD cash game because his $4400 pricetag is offensive. |
Andre Curbelo | ILL | WISC | 4800 | 21.02 | 4900 | 19.53 |
Although we wrote about Ayo and Trent Fraiser as a paydown, I also see a ton of value in Curbelo. The freshman is a great change of pace guard for the Illini and with such a cheap pricetag he is a nice play for a cash game in both platforms. |

Kofi Cockburn | IL | WISC | 8400 | 33.56 | 7600 | 31.03 |
With all these Illinois players in the playbook you would think I hate Wisconsin. They're a good team but the Illini tend to rely on their stars more. Cockburn is a double-double machine with 12 in 17 games, including a stretch that he is currently on reaching the mark in 7 of 8 games. Wisconsin has size but don't have anyone that can match his combination of size, strength and athleticism. Expect Cockburn to get another double-double in this one. |
Jeremiah Tilmon | MIZZ | ALA | 8300 | 28.72 | 6900 | 26.79 |
Its hard to believe Jeremiah Tilmon is still playing college basketball but he is having a great season for the surprisingly good Mizzouri Tigers. Tilmon has been a monster as of late with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds in two of his last three games. Against an Alabama team that doesn't have great size expect TIlmon to get a fair share of touches in this one. Also considering Bama plays a fast tempo he can also gobble up a bunch of rebounds. |
Quincy Guerrier | SYR | CLEM | 7900 | 34.12 | | |
Quincy Guerrier is having a sensational sophmore campaign for the Orange. The forward from Montreal is averaging 16.3 ppg and 9.5 rpg. What makes him a great fantasy play is his consistency rebounding and scoring. In his last nine games, Guerrier has at least scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He is a great play especially in GPP contests. |
Derek Culver | WVU | KU | 7600 | 25.3 | 7000 | 23.72 |
Derek Culver is another guy that averages a double-double at 14 ppg and 10.4 rpg. In the first game againt the Jayhawks he was solid but not great with 8 points and 8 rebounds but he only took 9 shots in a losing effort. In the return game expect Culver to be a bit more agressive, especially considering he is playing in Morgantown, where he bumps his scoring average to 15.3 ppg. |
Nate Watson | PROV | SJU | | | 7000 | 26.77 |
Nate Watson has cooled off of late, scoring no more than 12 points in each of his last four games. However Watson's pricetag is still high with a good matchup against St. Johns. The Friars scored only 43 points in their last game and are in need for some easy offense. Watson gives them just that with 55.6 FG%, so expect them to feed Watson a lot in this one. |

David McCormack | KU | WV | 6600 | 20.96 | 5300 | 21.66 |
David McCormack has had an up-and-down three year run at KU but he's playing the best ball of his career of late. In his 8 games, McCormack has scored at least 15 points 6 times. In his first matchup against West Virginia he posted a slash line of 10/11/3. |
Greg Brown | UT | OKST | 5700 | 24.52 | 5800 | 21.93 |
Surprised with the pricetag for the freshman phenom considering his first game against the Cowboys. Brown went off for 24 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks. It doesn't come as a huge surprise as OK St is a guard heavy team and don't have anyone to matchup with Brown. Think he's a steal at this pricetage and look to get him in for either contest for both platforms. |
Romello White | MISS | AUB | | | 5200 | 19.45 |
Romello White's stats dont blow you away but he provides steady scoring (10 ppg) and rebounding (5.5 rpg). He also is a pretty good rim protector with 1.1 bpg. In the first game against AUburn White posted 12 points and 3 rebounds. |
Adama Sanogo | CONN | SHU | 4500 | 12.34 | 4100 | 11.43 |
Sanogo is finally starting to have a bigger role in the rotation for the huskies playing 57 minutes in his last three games. The bump in PT has paid dividends for UConn with double figures scoring in two of those games. Seton Hall has good size so look and with Sanogo being a big physical guy expect him to get 20 minutes in this one. |
