Ayo DosunmuILLOSU870039.81810036.81
The last time we wrote about Ayo Dosumnu we discussed how he had two "down" games after back-to-back 30 point games and it was a good spot for him to have a big night. While Ayo didnt have his best night in a loss vs Maryland, he complimented his 23 points with 8 rebounds and 2 assists enroute to 35.5 DK/32.6 FD fantasy points, The point is Ayo is a great play especially in a GPP game because he has such a high floor due to his ability to impact the game besides scoring. It is a high price but probably worth it.
McKinley Wright IVUCSTAN850030.71730029.39
McKinley Wright IV hasnt had a huge jump from his junior to senior season but he still remains one of the top daily guards due to his scoring and playmaking ability. Where Wright has improved most is his decision making as he has slashed his turnovers from 3 per game last season to 1.9. Wright is a good play in cash games especially in FanDuel where he is $7300, would be $800 cheaper than Dosunmu.
Sharife CooperAUBUK820051.88920048,15
Sharife Cooper made his season debut last weekend and he did not disappoint. The freshman phenom went off against Alabama, scoring 26 poins, 4 rebounds and 9 assists for the Auburn Tigers. He was dirt cheap on DraftKings and if you were in our chat before the slate you cashed in. Cooper was even better in his encore performance against Georgia. Sharife has 28 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists vs the Bulldogs. While the small sample size worries me, Kentucky's guards defending him don't so think he may be a must play. FanDuel I'm a bit weary , as he is the highest priced guard, but for DraftKings get him in there.
Marcus CarrMINNMICH800028.70770033.74
Marcus Carr took the court against the Michigan Wolverines ten days ago and it did not go well. Carr finished with 14 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists in an 82-57 defeat, a far cry from the pricetag. Carr has actually struggled as of late but that is all about to change because Carr is playing at home. It must be something about the raised court at Williams Arena that Carr likes because he is averaging 23.9 ppg, 5.8 rpg, and 6.0 ap at home. It is also a big spot for the Golden Gophers looking to bounce back from back-to-back road loses. I really love Carr, especially for $7700 on FanDuel

Marcus ZegarowskiCREBUTLE710029.18
Marcus Zegarowski's slow start has allowed a great guard to have a good guard's price. Another contributing factor is the availability of Zegs, as he is a gametime decision with a hamstring injury, If he goes, think he is a great play because Butler's guards are young. It will be interesting to see if Lavar Jordan assigns Aaron Thompson (more on him later) to defend Zegarowski or Ballock. If Zegarowski cant go look at Atwann Jones ($4200) to be a great square for cash games
John Petty Jr.ALAARK680026.38650024.58
Petty Jr is coming off two really good games against Auburn and Kentucky. Now with a game against Arkansas that is expected to be up and down expect Petty to continue this trend. In his last two games Petty is averaging 28.9 DK/ 26.3 FD FPGand the O/U in this game is 162, a ton of value in Petty Jr. Joshua Primo is a great paydown option as well ($5500 DK/ $4600 FD).
Aaron ThompsonBUTLECRE620023.95
Before going down with an injury Butler's Aaron Thompson was averaging 21 ppg and had a high pricetag.

Other Guards I Like

  • Jared Butler- Baylor- $7600 FD
  • Mac McClung- Texas Tech- $6400 FD
  • Jalen Tate- Arkansas- $6200 DK / $5600 FD (F)
  • Posh Alexander- St. Johns- $5600 DK
  • Joshua Primo- Alabama- $5500 DK / $4600 FD
  • MJ Walker- FSU- $5600 DK / $5400 FD
  • Andre Curbelo- Illinois- $6300 DK / $5200 FD
  • Mitch Ballock- Creighton- $5200 DK

  • Antwann Jones- Creighton- $4200 DK

Julian ChampagnieSTJNMARQ910039.59
I may sound like a broken record but when there is a guy that is this highly priced you get what you paid for. Champagnie has a ridiculous floor, he has put up at least 32 fantasy points in all but one game. Against Marquette Champagnie should have no issues going for 30+ points. Theo John won't be able to keep up with his quickness at the forward position and will probably foul out trying to defend him.
Kofi CockburnILOSU810033.29800030.78
Despite being in the Top Forwards list, Kofi Cockburn actually presents pretty great value in DraftKings. He is the 5th highest priced forward and he has a great matchup against Ohio St. The Buckeyes dont have the bigs to contend with Cockburn's size and physicality. Also Cockburn is a double-double machine (4 straight) which makes him a great pick for GPP lineups.
Hunter DickinsonMICHMINN830031.93750030.31
Hunter Dickinson absolutely dominated his matchup vs Liam Robbins in the first matchup between these two teams. Dickinson went for 28 points and 8 rebounds in Michigan's big win over the Gophers. In the rematch we see him having similar success. Think he is a great option for a GPP contest in FanDuel.
Alan GriffinSYRPITT770033.35
With Justin Champagnie out witha knee injury and John Hugley suspended due to felony charges Pitt's frontcourt is looking awfully thin. That presents a great opportunity for Syracuse's Alan Griffin to go off, Griffin is averaging 15.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg and 2.9 apg for the Orange. If you are looking for a good paydown option, look at Quincy Guerrier ($6700).
Oscar Da SilvaSTANCO730032.39780031.55
Oscar Da Silva has a great matchup this weekend against a small Colorado frontcourt. Da Silva should be able to take advantage of the Buffalos' big men and score around 20 points in this one. He also should be able to crash the glass, Colorado ranks 45th in opponent rebounding.

E.J. LiddellOSUIL690028.7750026.55
Even though E.J. Liddell has to go up against Kofi Cockburn, think he presents great value especially in DraftKings. Liddell had his coming out party against Illinois last year with a 17 point 11 rebound game. He has been a bit up and down this season, as he has battle injuries, but think he is a nice cash play for DK.
Isaiah LiversMICHMINN710027.59620025.50
Like Hunter Dickinson, Isaiah Livers enjoyed a nice game against Minnesota in the first meeting. Livers scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. Livers is a great value play especially in FanDuel where he is only $6200.
Armando BacotUNCFSU560023.92590022.25
Armando Bacot is coming off one of his best games as a Tarr Heel, with a 15 point, 12 rebound double-double against Syracuse. FSU is a tough matchup as they throw waves of guys at you but Bacot could be a sneaky good play here.
Keion Brooks Jr.UKAUB550023580021.50
Keion Brooks Jr's return from injury seemed to spark the Wildcats, as they beat Florida and Brooks had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. In his next game out he wasn't as good, as the WIldcats got blown out at home vs Alabama. Still Brooks has a firm spot in Coach Cal's rotation and a against a down Auburn team, where Kentucky is a must win mode, Brooks could be a nice play.

Other Forwards I Like

  • Garrison Brooks- UNC- $7400 DK / $6300 FD
  • Dawson Garcia- Marquette- $6700 DK
  • Marcus Santos-Silva- Texas Tech- $5300 FD
  • Quincy Guerrier- Syracuse- $6700 DK
  • Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua- Baylor- $4800 FD
