The Coronavirus really decimated yesterday’s slate cancelling 4 of the 6 games in the slate. Unfortunately this is something that we should expect to happen consistently this season. Today’s slate provides 7 games and all of them are still on. FanDuel doesn’t have a main slate this evening so this is just for DraftKings. The slate has an intriguing Big12 showdown between TCU and OU. DePaul visits Iowa St as a part of the Big East-Big 12 challenge. Kentucky is in desperate need of a win as they face Georgia Tech. Other games include Cal vs UCLA, Seton Hall vs Penn St, WVU vs Georgetown and UCF taking on Michigan. Will all games a go should make for a fun slate!

Charlie MooreDPUISU80000
Charlie Moore transferred to DePaul from Kansas and provided a huge boost to the Blue Demons last season. He averaged 15.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 6.1 apg. Him and Paul Reed helped fuel a 9-0 start with wins over Iowa, BC Minnesota and Texas Tech. Now that Paul Reed has left from the NBA Moore will have to shoulder more of the scoring load. The Big East pundidts see this happening as he was named 1st Team All-Big East.
Brandon Boston Jr.UKGT790028.58
Brandon Boston Jr. is the next one-and-done guard for Coach Cal and Kentucky and a few games into his freshman season he has been very impressive. He has averaged 15.7 ppg and pulled down a 7.7 rebounds per contest. which is great production for a guard. The Wildcats are going into this game against Georgia Tech with a 1-2 record and in desperate need of a win. Look for Cal to lean on his freshman phenom. If you want a paydown option try fellow freshman teammate Terrance Clarke ($5700, 21.8 FPPG).
Jose AlvaradoGTUK780042.12
Jose Alvarado took full advantage of a rebuild at Georgia Tech under John Pastner. Alvarado came into the Yellow Jackets program and immediately logged major minutes averaging 35 mpg his freshman year. Now a senior the Brooklyn native is a do it all guard with a 18.5/6.5/5.5 stat line through 2 games. He is still logging a ton of minutes as in two games he has avaeraged 44.5 mpg. Expect Pastner to play Jose the entire game and could result in a big fantasy day.
Chris SmithUCLACAL740031.5
Through his first two seasons at UCLA Smith wasn't a major contributor. Chris Smith had a really nice junior season for the Bruins with 13.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 1.6 apg. Now in his senior season the Chicago native has seen increases in all three stat categories through 3 games. A nice paydown option here would be his teammate Tyger Campbell ($6000, 29 FPPG).

Shavar Reynolds Jr.SHUPSU640027.58
With Myles Powell leaving Seton Hall there was a major scoring hole that needed to be replaced. Mamu is the biggest benefactor of this problem but from the backcourt either Myles Cale or Shavar Reynolds needed to step up. So far for the Pirates Reynolds has answered the call. With Bryce Aiken hurt it opened the door for Reynolds to produce even more. In the last game against Oregon he had 17 point, 8 assists, and 2 rebounds but most imprortantly he played 37 minutes for Kevin Willard. Against Penn St where Seton Hall desperately needs a win expect Reynolds to give great value.
Jalen Coleman-LandsISUDPU630028.5
How about this for a storyline, Jalen Coleman-Lands enrolled at ISU as a graduate transfer from DePaul. Now Charlie Moore's backcourt runningmate last season will be going against him in this one. At Iowa State with the departure of Tyrese Haliburton and not having to play with a ball dominant guard like more Coleman-Lands has thrived. Hes avering 14.5 points per game and through 2 games has 4 steals. With a little added motivation for Jalen Coleman-Lands the $6300 pricetag could bring great value.
Eli BrooksMICHUCF520018.42
Brooks' numbers don't blow you away with a 8/2.3/4 stat line but the senior gets a good amount of playing time averaging 33.3 mpg. In the game against Oakland where the Wolverines struggled, Brooks was relied on for 41 minutes and had 6 points 5 assists and 2 rebounds. With a $5200 pricetag he may be worth taking a flyer on.

Sandro MamukelashviliSHUPSU920033.58
As mentioned earlier Sandro Mamukelashvili has been the biggest benefactor of Myles Powell's departure from Orange, NJ. The senior forward is averaging 18.8 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 2.5 apg. Mamu's unique combination of length and ball handling have truly made him one of college basketball's biggest matchup nightmares. The pricetag admittedly is very high but you get what you pay for sometimes and Mamu will definitely produce for you.
Derek CulverWVGU820037.69
You know how I love double-double machines and Derek Culver has been one in his 2 prior seasons in Morgantown. Last year he averaged 10.4 ppg and 8.6 rpg, his freshman season he nearly averaged a double-double with 11.5 ppg and 9.9 rpg. So far this eason he has averaged 15.8 ppg and 11.3 rpg and has recorded 3 double-doubles in 4 games.
Moses WrightGTUK770047.25
We mentioned that Jose Alvarado took advantage of a rebuild at Georgia Tech the same couldn't exactly be said with Moses Wright. His first two seasons in Atlanta he averaged under 20 mpg but then as a junior he had a much more prominant role. This year he has truly exploded on the scene scoring 25.5 ppg and 12 rpg in the Yellow Jackets first 2 games. He may have a tough matchup going against a good Kentucky frontcourt however his production is too much to pass up. Teammate Jordan Usher could be a great paydown option.
Brady ManekOUTCU75000
Through 3 seasons in Norman Brady Manek has found himself as a mainstay in the Sooners' rotation. This year as a senior he is looking to take the leap as a guy that carry's the Sooners and puts him in the position to have an all-conference type season. In his only game this season he certainly looks like a CBB star scoring 29 points against UTSA and did so in only 24 minutes. Also Manek has a fantastic Larry Bird mustache, if you needed to be sold any further.
Kevin SamuelTCUOU730030.42
In my first playbook of the season I included TCU Kevin Samuel as a top forward to target and I envison myself including him in several more over the year. Samuel paid huge dividends against Tulsa having a monster 16 point, 18 rebound effort. He also led the Big12 last year in blocks per game and this season seems to be another big year for him in the rim protecting department averagiung 2.3 bpg.

Olivier SarrUKGT670023.17
When Olivier Sarr announced his intention to leave Wake Forest he became the most sought after transfer on the market. So far he hasn't had as big of an impact at Kentucky as he has averaged 11 ppg and 6.7 rebounds per game. Jordan Usher and Moses Wright make up Georgia Tech's frontcourt and they are 6-7 and 6-9 respectively. Expect the 7-foot Sarr to have his coming out party against the Yellow Jackets.
Hunter DickinsonMICHUCF650027.92
Juwan Howard knew he was going to have to replace a position that he has seen great success in with the graduation of center Jon Teske. Howard went out and landed Hunter Dickinson from DeMatha High School. Dickinson has stepped onto campus Ann Arbor and delivered as a freshman. That game against Oakland he came in and provided a huge boost with 19 points in the second half plus OT. Expect Dickinson's 21.7 mpg to increase with performances like that. Hunter is great value at $6500.
Romeo WeemsDPUISU62000
Paul Reed was a revelation for the Blue Demons and was the Big East's best NBA prospect. Romeo Weems was a freshman so took a bit of a backdoor to Reed but still was decently productive with 8 ppg and 4.9 rpg. This year with Reed off to the NBA Weems can blossom into their next best front court player. Its possible that this $6200 will be on the cheaper side from Weems as he could have a big year in Chicago.
Jaime Jaquez Jr.UCLACAL580028.33
Jaime Jaquez Jr appears poised to have a nice jump from freshman to sophomore year. Through 2 games thus far he has upped his scoring average from 9 to 14 and rebounds from 4.8 to 6.7. Jaquez is also logged 41.5 mpg thus presents excellent valye at $5800.
