NBA DFS Value Vault: March 3

Dennis Schroder , PG LAL ($5,500) - LeBron James and Anthony Davis have both been ruled out. Schroder has a 25% usage rate when both are off the floor this season. This is also a great matchup for him with the Kings ranked among the worst defensive teams in the NBA, especially to the guard position where De'Aaron Fox routinely has one of the worst defensive ratings.

 

DeAndre Jordan , C BKN ($5,100) - With Jeff Green doubtful we should get 30+ minutes out of Jordan here once again in a great matchup against the Rockets. Jordan has given us 47.2, 31.6 and 38.1 FP in the last three games that he saw at least 30 minutes.

 

Malik Monk SF, CHA ($4,900) - Monk continues to score the basketball and with Devonte Graham already ruled out and Gordon Hayward once again questionable we should be looking in Monk's direction. The small forward position is a tough one on FanDuel tonight given all the injuries and given the matchup against Minnesota I could see Monk being a popular choice. Lets just hope the shot keeps dropping.

 

 

Markieff Morris , PF LAL ($3,700) - Truthfully Morris is an all format play tonight with LeBron James and Anthony Davis ruled out. Adding to his value however was the fact that Kyle Kuzma was also ruled out last night due to a foot injury. If the Lakers go into this game down Kuzma once again I think we see Morris has the highest rostered playing DraftKings tonight. He has given us 24 or more FP in three of the last four games and played 34 minutes last night in a tough matchup against the Suns.

 

Dennis Smith Jr., PG DET ($4,900) - DSJ has played at least 26 minutes in three straight games for the Pistons while scoring at least 23 fantasy points in four of the last five games. We love his scoring upside and he gets a depleted Raptors team as his matchup tonight.

 

Jalen Brunson , PG/SG ($5,300) - Luka Doncic is questionable to play tonight. If he sits then we likely see Brunson move into the starting lineup in a great matchup against the Thunder. Coming off the bench, Brunson has been a scoring machine of late, giving us at least 20 FP in eight of the last 10 games while dropping 30+ FP in four of those eight games including 39 FP the other night against the Magic. Even if Luka plays Brunson is an option but at the same price point I also like Bruce Brown and would likely go there over Brunson IF Luka is active.
