MVP/CPT

Steph Curry , PG – Yes, he is the most expensive player on the slate, but this is a good spot for Curry against a Spurs team that generally does not defend the point guard position well. Curry has been hit or miss this season but on nights where that three ball is falling, he explodes. We are looking at a nice game total here with just a one-point spread.

Dejounte Murray , PG – Steph Curry is a miserable defender, we just saw Dennis Schroder have a huge night. I love that Murray can fill up the stat sheet with rebounds, assists as well as steals. This is a fantastic spot for him to have a ceiling game.

Kelly Oubre , SF – Oubre has started playing better of late and recently head coach Steve Kerr stated they want to play Oubre more with the second unit, so he has more chances to be aggressive on the offensive end and that opportunity has resulted in Oubre going for 37 FP against the Lakers the other night. Good upside here for a player that is underpriced.

Mid-Tier

DeMar DeRozan , SF – Price is really the only thing that kept me from playing DDR as a captain, I feel like he is better used as a utility player. He can give you 40 FP at the drop of a hat but could find himself with a tough matchup against an improved defender in Andrew Wiggins tonight as well as Kelly Oubre .

Draymond Green , PF – Not scoring much but filling up the stat sheet with rebounds, assists, steals and blocks and that is what makes Green appealing. On nights where the shot drops we get to see his ceiling. Over the last four games Green has gone for 30+ FP three times.

Andrew Wiggins , SG – Wiggins is questionable to play tonight but is expected to go through pre-game warmups. Assuming he is cleared to go I have no problem putting him in my lineups tonight. He has been great on the defensive end which helps give him a safe fantasy floor while averaging nearly 18 points per game on the season.

Patty Mills , PG – Looking for a nice spend down? Mills has been great off the bench for the Spurs this season and just two nights ago he dropped 21 actual points against the Blazers. Mills is averaging a career best 14.7 points per game and as long as Derrick White is on the shelf there will be value here.

Dart Throw

Rudy Gay , PF – Gay is still out here doing the damn thing. Though no longer a 30-minute a night player, we still find Gay being productive in a limited role off the bench as was displayed with his 35 FP effort in just 24 minutes against the Blazers. I’d be willing to roll the dice that the veteran comes through here tonight.

James Wiseman, C – We all loved Wiseman the other night and he goes and gets in early foul trouble resulting in him seeing just 13 minutes of playing time after notching 26 and 27 minutes in the two games prior. The youngster is certainly going to have nights like this but the talent is certainly there. I look for him to bounce back tonight and possibly go under the radar due to his last performance.

Jakob Poeltl , C – We have seen these types of stretches from Poeltl before where he gets on the floor and just takes advantage of the matchups. I love the steady stream of blocks we are getting from him lately which 10 blocks over the last four games. He has played 30 and 22 minutes in each of the last two. This could be a matchup where he comes off the bench and has little trouble against the likes of a Kevon Looney who is the backup center for the Warriors.
