The Mavericks are in the midst of a stretch in which they will play six games in nine days, so it doesn't come as a surprise that Porzingis would be given a night off. Willie Cauley-Stein will likely move into the starting lineup, and James Johnson stands to see an increase in minutes as well.

Omari Spellman will play with the Erie BayHawks in the G-League bubble in Orlando.

Spellman began the season with the Knicks, but was waived as the team needed to open up a roster spot for Taj Gibson. Playing with the BayHawks is a big opportunity for the former first-round pick, who failed to stick with either the Hawks, Warriors or Knicks.

Ben Simmons (general soreness) is considered to be questionable for Saturday's game against the Pistons.

76ers coach Doc Rivers said during his pregame media availability that Simmons and Tobias Harris were both banged up during Friday's win over the Celtics, and he was unsure if either would be able to play. It's worth noting that neither was on the injury report, so if they don't play, the 76ers could be fined for a second time this season. That's just great (sarcasm) news for fantasy managers, who were likely hoping for a big night from Simmons with the 76ers playing against one of the league's worst teams. If he can't play, look for Shake Milton to have the ball in his hands even more as a playmaker. If he is somehow still available on the waiver wire, do not hesitate to pick Milton up.

Tobias Harris might not play on Saturday according to Doc Rivers.

With less than two hours before tip-off, Doc Rivers said both Harris and Ben Simmons "got banged up" in Friday night's game and might not play. Joel Embiid is also questionable. Philly's used to missing a good chunk of its roster at this point. If Harris is out, Matisse Thybulle, Shake Milton, and Furkan Korkmaz could see more run.

Ricky Rubio (health and safety protocols) is available to play in Saturday's game against the Pelicans.

Rubio is expected to play anywhere from 24 to 28 minutes Saturday night, and he will likely start with D'Angelo Russell (rest) sidelined. That leaves the remaining minutes to Jordan McLaughlin, who can be a handy assist man when given minutes. But that doesn't mean that fantasy managers should look into streaming him. Play it safe and go with Rubio if you have a desperate need for a point guard.

Goran Dragic (foot) and Gabe Vincent (knee) are available to play in Saturday's game against the Nets.

Both should be in the same starting roles that they held in Friday's loss to the Raptors, with Dragic providing more in the way of fantasy value. What will impact Vincent is the recent play of Kendrick Nunn, who scored 22 points on Friday. Vincent is worth streaming in deeper leagues due to the absences of Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler, but don't be surprised if a slow start results in his losing minutes to Nunn.

Ryan Saunders said that D'Angelo Russell's rest day on Saturday was pre-planned.

Russell's rest day came as a surprise considering the struggling Timberwolves are already without Karl Anthony-Towns (COVID-19). But Saunders clarified that this was planned because Russell's carrying a heavier workload this season. Fantasy managers shouldn't be alarmed.
