Players I Like Not In The Playbook

Point Guard

Trae Young - Currently questionable but would have an elite match up against the Knicks and Elf Payton defense.

Ben Simmons - Big spread and the Bulls may be without their best player in Zach LaVine . Great upside but use at your own risk.

Ja Morant - So disapointing of late but we are talking about an elite match up against the Wizards in a game with a 240 total. Best used in game stacks and gpps.

Kendrick Nunn - I think both Nunn and Dragic are in play today. Nunn is cheaper and could have higher ownership with Jimmy Butler already ruled out.

Shooting Guard

Zach LaVine - If healthy he is an option given his scoring upside but not the best match up.

Donovan Mitchell - It's a great price tag and a great match up but the facts are that since Conley has returned his upside hasn't been there.

RJ Barrett - Need him to be off his minutes limit otherwise I am fading him

Josh Richardson - Same analysis as above, if he is off his minutes limit I like as the cost is far too cheap.

Small Forward

Marcus Morris - Expected to make his debut today. I don't know his role or how many minutes he will play so there is certainly a risk involved but Kawhi Leonard is not playing today so he should start.

Carmelo Anthony - Very up and down this season but I like him at home against a Heat team that really doesn't have a power forward given the injuries so he could see Jae Crowder or Kelly Olynyk as a defensive match up.

Kyle Anderson - Hell has frozen over. Kyle Anderson is one of the few players I just absolutely detest playing. He will see court time but is purely there for defense and we just hope he can fall into something on the offensive end. This is a great match up for him witth the Wizards the worst defensive team in the NBA and the minutes should be there.  For a GPP dart I think Josh Jackson could be a thing.

DeAndre Hunter - If the Hawks are without Trae Young he becomes viable to me. He is very up and down but just the available usage will make him intruiging.

Power Forward

Kevin Love - I just don't know the impact that Andre Drummond is going to have on the Cavs front court. Love should still be able to score but we have to assume his rebounding upside will take a hit.

Jaren Jackson /Brandon Clarke - Jackson is the more expensive and usually see more playing time. Clarke has high FP/Min output. This is great match up for both but they are also a bit boom or bust.

Center

Andre Drummond - I doubt they traded for him to not play him. I'd temper expectations and think about what we got from Drummond when Blake Griffin was on the floor for Detroit. 50 FP is the upside but more likely to get 40-45 FP.

Ivica Zubac - His minutes are usually limited but he's recently started to eclipse the 20-minute mark, having done so in four of the last six games. With Cleveland now having Drummond the Clippers may use the bigger Zubac a bit more than the smaller Montrezl Harrell
