Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers

76ers: -8.5

Game Total: 226

Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid - Embiid is currently questionable for tonight's contest but it would really seem unlikely that he would miss a playoff game in my opinion. The 76ers were embarassed during their Game 1 loss but Embiid still dominated from a DFS persepective as he scored 22 points with 15 rebounds, four assists and five blocks over 24 minutes. That's right folks, Embiid put up 57 FP in just 24 minutes against the Nets. All season long we have told you to play centers against the Nets and if Embiid is active tonight he will be my top play of the slate.

Ben Simmons - We are use to Ben Simmons filling up the box score but in Game 1 we saw Simmons score juist nine points with seven rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal. His 28 fantasy points were certainly disapointing but we have to think after losing Game 1 that Philadelphia comes out roaring in Game 2. Including Game 1, Simmons is averaging 40 FP against the Nets this season so lets bank on a bounceback performance.

Tobias Harris - Harris played 41 minutes during the 76ers Game 1 loss yet he managed just four points on 2-of-7 shooting. He finished with just 24 fantasy points. Now, the Nets have been somewhat decent against opposing power forwards this year but Harris just can't be an absolute zero if the 76ers hope to make some noise in the playoffs.

Jimmy Butler - Butler played 39 minutes in the 76ers Game 1 loss and he took over on offense, scoring 36 points with nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals. His 55 fantasy points is something that doesn't shock me and I think we should expect Butler to take over these games for the 76ers as he can create his own offense and is a decent shooter unlike Ben Simmons who will likely be taking a back seat come crunch time. Butler is averaging 50 FP in three games against the Nets this season.

JJ Redick - What just happened? Redick scored just five points and fouled out in 23 minutes during the 76ers Game 1 loss. I know we don't expect huge numbers from Redick given the rest of the starting five but we figure he should be giving you better than this. Redick was money to close out the season for the 76ers and I really think we see a bounceback in Game 2 for some of these players who disapeared in Game 1.

Boban Marjanovic - If Embiid can't go tonight or is going to be limited in any way then we need to take a hard look at Boban, to be honest, given the small slate and the matchup I still think he is solid GPP play over on DK where you can roster both he and Embiid together. In 15 minutes we saw Boban put up 26 fantasy points. Again, the Nets are HORRIBLE against opposing centers and Boban can almost match Embiid on a fantasy point per minute basis.

Brooklyn Nets

D'Angelo Russell - Russell played 29 minutes in the Nets Game 1 win over the 76ers and in those 29 minutes he took 25 shots. He finished with 26 points, three rebounds, four assists and one steal. The 76ers were checked out of this one early and Russell was able to take advantage of their lackluster effort. I fully expect him to face a tougher test in Game 2, likely seeing Jimmy Butler for most of the night. I am not too high on the Nets tonight but if they do plan to go up 2-0 in the series it will be on the shoulders of Russell.

Caris LeVert - LeVert was having a career year before he suffered an ankle injury that many thought would have ended his season, fortunately he was able to return over the final months and he came up huge in the Nets Game 1 win as he scored 23 points off the bench on 8-of-18 shooting. The scorers on the Nets are pretty clear, it's Russell, LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie . As long as those three can keep it going then the Nets will be competitve tonight. Whomever draws JJ Redick defense is the guy I want on my roster.

Spencer Dinwiddie - Dinwiddie has been solid all season long so it was no shock to see him play 32 minutes off the bench and finish with 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting. I expect his role to be the exact same in Game 2 as it was in Game 1. If he matches up with JJ Redick I can see him taking over the game which we have seen him do at times this season.

Ed Davis - Davis was questionable to play tonight but if he is active we should want some shares. He is the best rebounder on the Nets roster and whenever he actually gets the playing time he gives us double-double upside. His disadvantage comes with size but nobody on the Nets can really handle Embiid in the paint anyhow so at least Davis will give you a bit more on the glass than Jarrett Allen

Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors

Warriors: -13

Game Total: 234

Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry - Curry dropped 38 points with 15 rebounds and seven assists over 37 minutes in the Warriors Game 1 win over the Clippers. We have preached all season long that we can attack the Clippers with opposing point guards so it should be no shock to see Curry go off.  Curry definitely beneifted from DeMarcus Cousins fouling out Kevin Durant from being ejected in the fourth quarter but it honestly wouldn't shock me to see him have yet another monster night. Its the playoffs and these are the Golden State Warriors. The only thing we could maybe worry about would be the minutes being limited in a blowout but he played 37 in a game that the Warriors won by 17 in Game 1 so maybe we shouldn't be that worried.

Kevin Durant - Durant was solid in Game 1 as he scored 23 points with four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal over 32 minutes. Durant was ejected in the fourth quarter after an altercation with Patrick Beverley but that is unlikely to repeat itself here in Game 2. If anything maybe Durant will be a bit more motivated to take this game over and stick to the Clippers and Pat Bev. Like Curry, Durant benefits from Cousins being off the floor so his upside is at least limited a bit as long as Cousins is going to play 30+ minutes.

DeMarcus Cousins - Cousins fouled out in 21 minutes during the Warriors Game 1 contest. This, of course, is always the issue with Cousins as he is somewhat lazy on the defensive end and can be too much of a bully on the offensive end which can cause him to rack up fouls. We also need to always worry about him possibly getting ejected due to technical fouls. We LOVED attacking the Clippers with opposing centers over the final weeks of the regular season but I think my money is going toward Embiid tonight assuming he is active.

Klay Thompson - Klay played 37 minutes but was just 5-for-14 from the floor and scored only 12 points as he was just 1-for-6 from three-point range. It's possible that Thompson was frusterated by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who is a lengthy defender who can play the perimiter. It's also unlikely we see him go 1-for-6 from three-point range again so I have no problem throwing him in my lineups tonight in hopes that tonight will be his night to go off.

Los Angeles Clippers

Lou Williams - Williams is the lead scorer for the Clippers and if this game is going to be competitive it's because Williams is going shot for shot with that elite Warriors unit. in Game 1 Willaims scored 25 points on 11-for-21 shooting. He played 32 minutes in this one and it's hard for me to imagine that he plays any less if the Clippers hope to cover this double-digit spread and make this a competitive game.

Montrezl Harrell - Harrell gives up so much size to Cousins but he is athletic and can score the basketball. He figures to play 30+ minutes tonight as the Clippers will need his scoring upside to keep up with the Warriors offense. This game has a 234 total and wile the Warriors will score plenty, so will the Clippers.

Danilo Gallinari - It's a tough matchup for Gallinari has he draws either Durant or Draymond Green on the offensive and defensive end. I like his size and offensive upside but it's just a tough spot. He scored 15 points on 4-of-14 shooting in Game 1. The Clippers will need a better game from him if they want to steal a game here from the Warriors.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - I was big on SGA over the final weeks of the regular season as he was more aggressive on the offensive end and he can fill up the stat sheet on the defensive end. He scored 18 points with five rebounds and three blocks in Game 1. I really like him tonight as well and he will likely be my exposure to this game from the Clippers side of things.
