MVP/CPT

Kawhi Leonard , SF  - We talk a lot about the elite Ben Simmons defense but I think that defense lands on Paul George tonight and not Kawhi Leonard . Leonard has gone for over 40 FP in four of the last five games and has flashed 50+ FP upside as well. He figures to be among the higher owned players on this showdown slate and getting him as your captain should go a long way towards success tonight.

Dwight Howard , C - Sure, Howard may not be starting tonight but that doesn't take him out of the running as a captain option for me tonight. Unless he manages to get ejected again he should be playing more than Mike Scott and has double-double upside while blocking shots. The value on Howard is there at nearly $5,000 less than the top priced players and though he probably doesn't have 60 FP upside anymore, we have seen him go for 40+.

Ben Simmons , PG - Even when the shot isn't falling, Simmons does enough to fill out the stat sheet. On a showdown slate I am more than comfortable with him sitting in the 35 to 45 FP range as few on these smaller slates off that type of upside.

UTIL

Tobias Harris , PF - Sure, he may draw a tough matchup against Marcus Morris or Kawhi Leonard but his usage rates and fantasy points per mintue with Joel Embiid off the floor is hard to ignore. We have gotten repeated 40 FP upside from Harris over recent games and we should be going back to the well.

Ivica Zubac , C - With Serge Ibaka ruled out we see Zubac getting a lot of the run at center and giving us 30+ fantasy points. With Mike Scott starting the initial matchups for Zubac is one to exploit but even when Dwight Howard is on the floor he should still be able to score and grab rebounds at a good enough clip to be valuable.

Seth Curry , SG - Curry got back on the floor the other night and picked up right where he left off, scoring 19 actual and going for 24 fantasy points. I look for him to continue to be a threat from three-point range while offering up a handful of assist and rebounds from the guard position.

Marcus Morris , PF - Continues to start and play well for the Clippers. His fantasy production of late has sat in the mid-20s even with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the floor with him.

Dart Throw

Reggie Jackson , PG - Jackson has been very inconsistent of late but did pop off against the Spurs the other night. With Lou Williams no longer in town and Rajon Rondo not ready to join the club he should see plenty of run at the guard position with Terance Mann backing him up and also being an interesting dart throw option for tonight's slate.

Terance Mann , SG - Going to get the run off the bench that previously went to Lou Williams . Mann has played at least 23 minutes in four straight games and has gone for 30+ FP in two of the last three. IF Reggie Jackson gets off to a slow start we could see Mann take over quickly in the rotation.
