Kemba Walker , PG BOS ($5,700)

I mean, we HAVE to go back to the well here, right? Yes it’s a pace down spot. Yes Phoenix rates out as the best team in terms of DvP against point-guards. But this price is outlandish! Not only that, Jaylen Brown has already been ruled out! With Brown and Marcus Smart off the floor this year, Walker has a 37.9% USG and 1.36 FP/min, which leads the team in both cases. The cherry on top is seeing his minutes hit 30 in two straight, as the limitations have seemingly come and gone. Hard not to absolutely love Walker today, despite the less than ideal match-up.

Jordan Clarkson , SG UTA ($5,000)

Knowing that Mike Conley was going to be out and still pricing Jordan Clarkson at 5K is a mistake that we need to hammer. With Conley off of the floor this year, Clarkson has a robust 25.9% usage rate and averages .99 FP/min. We’ve seen Clarkson’s minutes take a dive to the lower-to-mid 20’s recently, but with Conley out we should see those minutes creep up closer to 30. It’s hard to fade him at this price point knowing his ability to put the ball in the basket.

Hassan Whiteside , C SAC ($4,000)

Someone I continue to roster is Hassan Whiteside and it’s been pretty fruitful lately. We must understand he’s not going to play more than 20 minutes, so let’s get that pipe dream out of our heads. When we move on front here, we know Whiteside can fill it up in a HURRY. On Saturday, he put up 11 points, 11 rebounds and blocked four shots in just 17 minutes, good for 37.7 FDP. He has a very respectable 22.4% usage rate and averages 1.26 FP/min this year. GPP’s only, but on a five-game slate, he’s worth taking a shot on.

DraftKings

Elfrid Payton , PG NYK ($4,500)

Look, we all want Immanuel Quickley to be a thing on a nightly basis and for a two week span that looked like it was becoming a thing, but Payton has now put together two big performances in a row putting all of that to an abrupt halt. Payton has scored 20 actual in two straight and has been up to his old tricks in terms of contributing elsewhere as well, which is what has given us 37+ DKP in two straight. He’s still only 4.5K on DK and that’s just insanely cheap, especially if he’s playing 35 minutes and putting up this type of production. He’s still a tournament play because if he gets off to a poor start, Quickley is waiting in the wings.

Tristan Thompson , C BOS ($4,300)

I didn’t love the fit in Boston at first but due to a bunch of injuries, Boston has been forced to start both Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson and that’s opened up some extra playing time for Thompson recently. He’s played 22+ minutes in three straight and has topped 25 in two of them. He’s been very active while on the floor notching at least 11 points and seven rebounds in all three games. He’s a double-double threat that has given us a nice floor lately.

Marcus Morris Sr., SF/PF LAC ($4,200)

I’ve been waiting for the torch to be passed from Nicolas Batum to Marcus Morris all year long wondering when he was going to start playing more minutes and that time looks like it has finally arrived. Morris played 28 minutes last time out against Boston and has now topped that 28 minute mark in three-of-four. We already know Paul George is out for Los Angeles so the Clippers need more scoring from their other guys, enter Marcus Morris . Not to mention the Kings have the worst DRtg in all of basketball. Love Morris in tournaments for Sunday’s slate.
