MVP/CPT

Kevin Durant , SF/PF BKN

When Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving were all on the floor together for their 36 minute sample, Durant was the top dog in terms of fantasy production. Irving led in usage, but Durant’s 24% USG is nothing to scoff at and his 1.49 FP/min is as elite as it gets. Durant is the freshest of the group considering the team played on Friday and he sat out. Durant has had 50+ FP in three straight and 7-of-10 overall. He’s playing as well as he ever has.

Bam Adebayo , C MIA

I know we’ve seen two down games from Adebayo in a row, but don’t expect that to continue here against Brooklyn. Brooklyn’s defense is nonexistent right about now as they’ve allowed 110+ points in 7-of-8 games. The Heat center also is matching up with a Brooklyn team that ranks 24th against C’s according to DvP.  Adebayo has a 27.8% USG rate and averages a team-high 1.33 FP/min without Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro on the floor this year.

Kyrie Irving , PG BKN

Whether it’s been with both Durant and Harden or with only one of them, Irving is taking a LOT of shots. His peripheral’s are clearly going to take a hit, but he’s now poured in 37 and 38 actual points in two straight games. He’s averaging 48.5 DKP/game this season and has surpassed that mark in four straight outings. Hard not to love him in this spot.

Mid-Tier

Kendrick Nunn , PG/SG MIA

What’s not to like about the form Nunn is playing at right now? There is no Jimmy Butler , Tyler Herro or Avery Bradley once again, meaning Nunn is going to get all the run he can handle. He’s played 34+ minutes in each of the last three games while putting up 34.75+ DKP as well. Nunn has a very strong 24.7% USG and 1.02 FP/min without those aforementioned players.

Goran Dragic , PG MIA

The leading player in usage rate for MIA without Butler and Herro this season is Goran Dragic at 28.5%. Dragic has not shot the ball well lately shooting below 42% in 3-of-4 games, but we know the upside is there offensively. Dragic starting the last couple of days is ideal as well. You love to see it. We love attacking the Brooklyn defense.

Duncan Robinson , SG MIA

It’s all MIA in this mid-tier considering it’s the Brooklyn “Big 3” and then everyone else. Robinson has GPP winning appeal when his shot is falling and the shots will be there considering all the key pieces the Heat are missing. Brooklyn also ranks 26th against SG and 16th versus small-forwards, so either way it’s a plus match-up. Robinson’s averaged 27.6 FP/game over his last six.

Value Tier

Jeff Green , PF/C BKN

With everyone active, the Nets gave Jeff Green 40 minutes against Cleveland so we know that’s in the cards again if they don’t want to push DeAndre Jordan very much. Green’s played 25+ minutes in nine straight and he’s put up 20+ FP in three straight and in 6-of-9. Green is a solid value here.

Andre Iguodala , SF MIA

Iggy has played 21+ minutes in six straight and although he’ll cap out at 25, he has some value for sure. Iggy has put up 23+ DKP in two straight and the Heat are still shorthanded with a bunch of players injured and out due to covid. He has an awful floor that could bury your lineup, but if he gives you another 23+ he could be in the winning GPP.
