I’m not in love with Lee. Let me preface this write-up with that. That being said, it’s undeniable how good of a spot he’s in. The Hanwha offense -- who was blanked by the Dinos staff on Friday -- ranks near the bottom of the league in basically every statistical category out there. Lee has flashed excellence at times this year, but has really faltered and ruined lineups in his bad outings. I wouldn’t trust him in cash games, but sometimes the match-up dictates who we use in what format. He just faced this Hanwha offense on the 7th of this month and allowed only one run over seven innings.
SPTae In WonSAMK. Im (R)$7,70014.24
Outside of one bad start against a very good KT offense, Won has pitched masterfully and probably hasn’t gotten any love for it considering the team he’s on. He’s allowed two runs or fewer in every start other than the aforementioned one against KTW and that’s why he’s 4-1 with a 2.30 ERA. He’s put up 19+ DK points in 4-of-5 starts and although KIA’s offense can be potent, they rank in the middle of the pack in most offensive categories. He’s the underdog here and can be deployed in GPP’s.
RPKi Young Im T. Won (R)$7,60016.29
Do I suggest using two pitchers from the same game in one lineup? No. But if there was ever a slate to do so, this would be it. Both guys are under 8K, have ERA’s under three and come in smokin’ hot. Im comes in off of a six-inning shutout of SK while striking out six and picking up a win. He’s gone six straight starts in which he’s allowed three earned or less and has reached double-figure DK points in every game but the first this season. Im and KIA are the favorites in Vegas and the O/U of nine favors pitching here. Like both guys in this game. Im slightly more in cash.
RPJong Gi ParkDOOC. Kelly (R)$4,0000
This could be a very interesting and profitable play. Talking about profit and money, he barely costs anything. In fact, he’s stone cold minimum at 4K. He made his debut last weekend and threw a solid 4.2 IP allowing three runs while striking out five. The strikeouts are obviously the most appealing thing we have on our side. Worth taking a shot on a guy at minimum salary when he has an elite offense backing him.

CDong Won ParkKIWG. Lee (R)$5,7008.54
Park is the most elite hitting catcher on the slate with Eui Ji Yang now on the injured list. Park has a .997 OPS and has belted eight homers and driven in 29 runs. Park is destroying RHP this year hitting .377 with 12 CBH (5 HR) and 22 RBI.
CTae Goon KimNCDW. Saupold (R)$2,1004.5
With Eui Ji Yang out, Kim will be the primary catcher for the time being. He went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Friday and in limited opportunity, he’s hit .318, 1 HR and has driven in 5 RBI across 22 at-bats. He’s so cheap and in a decent match-up against a pitcher who struggles more with RHH than LHH.
1BDae Ho LeeLOTH. So (R)$4,2008.62
There were a lot of questions surrounding Lee’s power, or lack thereof, to start the season but those questions have been laid to rest as he’s blasted four in his last 10 games, including one on Friday. He’s hit four of seven bombs against RHP and Hyeong Jun So allows RHP to hit a robust .324, something I’ve mentioned throughout this playbook.
1B/OFJin Sung KangNCDW. Saupold (R)$4,50011.09
Another day, another big outing for Kang as he belted his 9th HR of the season on Friday, The league leader in average has really done it all at the dish and this match-up against Warwick Saupold isn’t as daunting as you’d expect. Saupold has allowed RHH to bat .345 this season while Kang is hitting .463 vs. RHP.
1B/2BJoo Hwan ChoiDOOC. Kelly (R)$2,0008.76
If you don’t wanna spend 5.8K on Jose Fernandez, just save 3.8K and get a min salary Choi who has three straight two-hit games, 2 HR, 7 RBI & hits in 9-of-10. He is up to nine bombs on the year and oh yeah, did I forget to mention he’s MIN SALARY?!
1B/2BJose FernandezDOOC. Kelly (R)$5,80010.77
I know he’s expensive, but we’re talking about a guy hitting .389 and has an OPS over 1.000, with over 30 runs scored and 30+ driven in. Casey Kelly has an ERA north of seven this year and has let lefties hit .294 this year.

2BChi Hong AnLOTH. So (R)$3,2007.68
This doesn’t need a long description. Second base sucks, he’s cheap, he hits in a prime position in the lineup (6th) and he has a ton of speed (7 SB). Oh, and we have FIVE Lotte players written up and kind of like them in a stack, cash, one-off, whatever you like.
2B/SSHye Sung KimKIWG. Lee (R)$2,9007.13
We want lefties versus SK starter Geun Wook Lee as they’ve hit .279 and both of the home runs he’s allowed have come against them. Kim has a strong .811 OPS and has hit three homers over his last 10 games and does a little of everything as he has 4 HR, 3 3B and 3 SB this year. He’s really cheap and can slot in at multiple positions.
SSJae Ho KimDOOC. Kelly (R)$2,5007.39
PLAY HIM EVERY DAY IN CASH! HE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! He’s cheap. He plays a position that lacks depth. He averages 7.4 FP but has averaged 8.6 over his last 10. Kim has a solid .846 OPS and .352 on top of all that, by the way.
2B/SSDixon MachadoLOTH. So (R)$4,3007.38
Machado continued his hit barrage on Friday registering two more, giving him 17 in just a 10-game span. He has three multi-hit outings over his last four games and although he’s still stuck on four homers and hasn’t hit one since May 17th, but he’s stolen three bases over his last nine games to make up for it a little bit. Righties are batting .324 vs. Hyeong Jun So this season.
3B/SSJeong ChoiSKY. Jo (R)$5,4008.45
Over his last 10 games, Choi has slashed .361/.465/.722 with four bombs. Choi has a five-game hitting streak and has hit in 9-of-10. Jo is likely not long for this game considering he hasn’t surpassed 76 pitches this season and has had to work hard to get there.
OFHee Dong KwonNCDW. Saupold (R)$2,6008.19
Kwon’s been pretty elite this year, especially for a guy not expected to hit the way he has. He hit .256 last year and only belted six homers across 16 games. He did, however, hit 19 home runs and posted an .834 OPS back in 2017, so the potential is there. He’s slashing .341/.455/.538 with four homers already this season. His OBP + price is appealing for cash.
OFJun Woo JeonLOTH. So (R)$4,5009.4
Jeon is riding a nice little 10-game hitting streak in which he’s slashing .354/.380/.667 with four home runs and 11 runs batted in. He homered on Friday for the second time in three games and gets a match-up against a pitcher allowing 1.4 HR/9, doesn’t strike anyone out posting a 3.5 K/9 and has a 6.34 ERA. Jeon is a great play for all formats.
OFAh Seop SonLOTH. So (R)$3,9009
How many guys from one team can we use? I want to use them all. He had three doubles on Friday and is now hitting .413 over his last 10 games and also has an OPS over 1.000 during that span. Son is more of a cash game guy given he’s more doubles and run scored than he is homer and runs driven in, but he can be an intracle member of a LOT stack.
OFMel Rojas Jr.KTWA. Sampson (R)$5,30011.95
It’s impossible to look at what Rojas is doing lately and not look at him on every slate. Or simply what he’s done this entire season. Rojas is now tied for the league lead in home runs and is already in the lead for RBI. Adrian Sampson has struggled with LHH this season allowing them to hit .385.
OFKun Woo ParkDOOC. Kelly (R)$3,3008.59
Keep riding the wave! Park had another two hits on Friday pushing his 10 game numbers to .588/.643/.882. His eight-game hitting streak consists of six of two-plus knocks. This match-up suits him well considering he’s batting .379 vs. RHP this season.

The Giants face off with an 18-year old rookie not having the greatest start to his KBO career. In seven starts he's posted a 6.43 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP and legitimately pitches exclusively to contact as he has a 3.5 K/9. This game has spiked up to a 10.5 O/U, which is tied for a slate high. I'd be willing to play five guys from this team.

Casey Kelly had a great 2019 season but we're not in Kansas anymore. His 2020 has been rocky posting a 5.21 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. Lefties are hitting a cool .294 this year while righties are batting .286 and have deposited three bombs. I think Lotte is far and away the best stack, but Doosan provides really quality value.
