SPSeung Won MoonSKK. Im (R)$9,000
We don’t have any one pitcher on this slate that we can look at and be sure they’d be viable in cash. Everyone has been up and down on this slate and Moon is included. First off, he doesn’t play for a good team and is an underdog against KIA tonight. That said, Moon has had bigtime upside at times this year. In three of his five starts he’s put up 18+ DKP including a 28-point ceiling. He’s coming off back-to-back quality starts and has 15 K’s in those games. He’s averaging 9.1 K/9 this season too. GPP upside.
SPWoo Chan ChaLGS. Park (R)$8,700
It’s been more good than bad for Cha this season, but the bad has been a tough pill to swallow in DFS. He has four starts of 20+ DK points and the other two were 2.5 and 0.4. Cha and the Twins are -175 favorites here and we have no weather concerns in this one either. His strikeouts of 8.2 per nine innings is very respectable as he’s shown upside upwards of eight in one game. Lotte is only hitting .262 as a team, the fourth lowest mark of the slate.
SPDavid BuchananSAMO. Despaigne (R)$8,200
I’m not a fan of Buchanan’s inability to miss bats, but he’s been undeniably good lately. He’s allowed one earned run over his last 20 innings (3 starts) after allowing 10 ER on 5/19. He’s had two five strikeout games over his last three but his bread and butter is inducing ground balls, which he’s done 12 times for three consecutive outings. What’s scary is how potent KTW can be offensively, which is why Buchanan is a GPP play for me. I do think Odrisamer Despaigne on the other side of this game should be considered as well.
SPKi Young ImKIAS. Moon (R)$7,600
He’s weirdly cheap for someone who’s been extremely consistent, is on the better team and is favored in vegas. Im has only failed to reach double-figure fantasy points once this year and he fell just one FP short. He has a solid 7.8 K/9 and his 3.34 ERA and 3.38 FIP align on how well he’s actually pitched this year. I hate to completely crap on an offense, but SK ranks among the bottom two in almost every category that matters on offense. Im could be someone we start our cash builds with.
Hitters
PosPlayerTeamOpp. PitcherDK Sal.
CKang Nam YooLGS. Park (R)$3,900
Even though Park has been better against right-handed batters, they’ve hit three bombs against him. Yoo has four homers this year and two over his last 10 games. Over those aforementioned 10 games he has slashed .387/.441/.677.
CEui Ji YangNCDH. Han (R)$6,000
An 0-for-5 the night before does not deter me from rostering Yang the following night. He’s the best hitter in the league from a year ago and even in a ‘down year’ Yang has still notched a .303 AVG and .958 OPS.
1BJae Il OhDOOS. Han (R)$3,900
It’s only a matter of time before Oh’s price tag spikes considering how good he’s been at the dish. He’s averaged 11.2 DK points over his last 10 games thanks to a 1.126 OPS over that span. He has the split advantage, he gets a rookie and this games 11.5 O/U is the clear cut number one option we have tonight.
1BMin Sang YooKIAS. Moon (R)$3,500
It was another big game for Yoo on Friday as he homered and drove in three runs. That’s significant because over his last 10 games he’s slashed .424/.444/.636 with two bombs and 12 RBI. I like Seung Won Moon but he has allowed LHH to bat .313 this season.
1B/OFJa Wook KooSAMO. Despaigne (R)$4,700
Despaigne is really struggling right now allowing 14 ER over his last two starts and lefties have gotten to him the most. Both HR’s he’s allowed this year have come against LHH and on the flipside, Koo is MASHING RHP batting .459 with both of his homers coming against them. We have a split advantage against a struggling starter. Koo has six multi-hit games over his last 10. It’s a no-brainer if this game plays.
1B/OFBaek Ho KangKTWD. Buchanan (R)$6,100
What Buchanan has struggled with this year is left-handed power. Kang is exactly that and more. He homered on Friday and has now belted three over his last 10 games and six in the 17 games he’s been healthy for. This is one of the league’s best young hitters and is in a spot to do damage.

1B/2BJose FernandezDOOS. Han (R)$6,200
We should stack Doosan. We shouldn’t even consider anything else, really. Maybe because of some weather concerns, but if this game plays, Fernandez and Doosan are as elite as they come. Fernandez is coming off a two-hit game in which he homered and is batting .406 on the year with six bombs and 31 runs batted in.
1B/2BKeon Chang SeoKIWJ. Lee (R)$3,600
Seo was a favorite of ours for quite a while but he cooled off of late hitting 6-for-28 (.214) over his last 10 games. He’s still batting .295 with an .851 OPS on the year. What’s best about Seo is that he sports a .396 OBP and has seven stolen bases. He also has a little power with four home runs and has the split advantage here.
2B/OFMin Hyeok KimKTWD. Buchanan (R)$4,200
Kim has had a weird surge in power considering he had never hit a home run before this season and now has three. He has a ton of speed as he stole 22 bases in only 122 games and ran 32 total times. I like Kim’s multi-position eligibility and he’s another left-handed bat we can deploy against Buchanan.
2B/SSHye Sung KimKIWJ. Lee (R)$2,400
We have two games sitting with an 11.5 O/U and this is one. We’ve documented throughout this playbook how much Jae Hak Lee struggles with LHH and Kim has swung a great stick lately hitting .353 over his last 10 games.
2B/3BSeon Woo OhKIAS. Moon (R)$2,600
After Hyung Woo Choi left with a back problem on Friday, Oh filled in and went 2-for-3 with a homer, his second straight game with a bomb. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Choi sit out Saturday and Oh fill in his spot. Oh has only played in three games this year but has certainly made his presence felt. Solid value.
3BSuk Min ParkNCDH. Han (R)$4,700
Park hasn’t had the greatest 2020 campaign thus far but he’s hit right-handed pitching well. He’s hitting .291 with three-of-five homers against RHP and Han has allowed .304 to RHH, so this suits Park well. Plus, 3B SUCKS and the Dinos are involved in a game with an 11.5 O/U, tied for the highest of the slate.
SSJae Ho KimDOOS. Han (R)$2,600
He’s still too cheap. He’s still free. He’s still raking. He had another two hits on Friday and even chipped in with a stolen base. He’s averaging 7.4 DKP/game this season and he’s only 2.6K in a game his team is favored at -315 in a 11.5 O/U. It’s a no-brainer if the weather holds up.
SSHak Ju LeeSAMO. Despaigne (R)$3,600
It’s hard to trust a modest four-game hitting streak, I know, but Lee is showing *some* signs of life. He’s homered in two of those games and has a really ideal match-up against a RHP struggling to retire lefties. In 118 games last year Lee had 24 XBH and stole 15 bases, so he is a dual-threat.
OFMel Rojas Jr.KTWD. Buchanan (R)$5,600
We’re paying the price we would for a value pitcher, but the dude is hitting everything out of the park right now. He’s belted six bombs over his last 10 games while driving in 17 runs over that same span. He’s up to 10 HR on the season and has an OPS of 1.131. David Buchanan struggles vs. LHH power hitters, which plays into Rojas’ hand.
OFHyun Soo KimLGS. Park (R)$5,300
We have a pretty good match-up for LG on this slate as Park has had a problem limiting power this year and has allowed a lot of base runners. Kim is an OBP monster reaching base at a .411 clip and Park has a 1.53 WHIP. He’s also allowed a .357 AVG to LHH on the year.
OFKun Woo ParkDOOS. Han (R)$3,600
I loved Park last night and I’m going right back to the well here. He’s on fire and is swinging the stick like we’ve seen in years past. He has three three-hit games over his last four contests and is batting .447 over his last 10 games overall. The price tag will be on the rise in no time, so take play him at a discount while we can.
OFJung Hoo LeeKIWJ. Lee (R)$5,100
Although he didn’t start Friday, he entered the game as a pinch hitter and even played an inning in the outfield, so I suspect Lee will be back in the lineup Saturday. He’s hitting .369 on the year and is facing off against a pitcher for the Dinos allowing lefties to hit over .300 and has served up two home runs this year, both to LHH. Lee has hit 4-of-5 HR vs. RHP.
OFSung Bum NaNCDH. Han (R)$5,900
This is one of the league’s premier hitters that happens to be one of the league’s best power hitters as well. He’s hit 10 bombs already this year which is good for the second in the KBO. He strikes out a LOT, which is his downfall but he Hyun Hee Han only strikes out 6.3 opponents per nine innings, so Na is in the drivers seat here.

It doesn't really get much better than tonight for Doosan. They draw a team that has lost 18 straight and is starting a pitcher making his KBO debut. This game has an 11.5 O/U which is the largest number on the slate and they're -335 favorites as well. Last years champs are going to FEAST on Saturday.

Although Lee is the highest priced pitcher on the slate, he's definitely not the best. I think Kiwoom is a sneaky mini-stack because most people will be on the other side of this game. The thing about this game is that it's an 11 O/U and Kiwoom is 7-3 over their last 10 games. I love the lefties specifically in this one.
