SPHyun Jong YangKIAT. Kim (L)$9,000
Yang has had two great starts in a row notching two straight quality outings, two wins, and has allowed just two runs in each. Not to mention he struck out seven opponents against the potent Doosan offense. Yang had a fantastic 2019 season that saw him go 16-8 with a 2.29 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. He also had a very respectable 7.9 K/9 and showed great control posting a tick voer one walk per nine innings. He’s a big -225 favorite here against a team that is 2-11 on the year.
SPWarwick SaupoldHANY. Kim (L)$8,700
It’s been a great showing for Saupold through his first three starts of the year, but he hasn’t faced an offense quite like the Dinos just yet. The Dinos are 11-2 and just took 2-of-3 from last year's defending champs, Doosan. Saupold hasn't been dominant in terms of strikeouts, but three straight quality starts and two earned or less in all three games. He’s also averaging 20.2 DK points, which is a win at his price point. He’s more of a tournament play because of the team he’s squaring off with.
SPJake BrighamKIWK. Noh (R)$8,400
Kiwoom are -160 favorites against a team sliding as they are losers of four straight. Brigham is coming off a dominant 2019 in which he pitched to a 2.96 ERA and won double-digit games for the third consecutive season. He hasn’t flashed the strikeout potential yet, but he finished his ‘19 campaign striking out five or more opponents in seven of his final eight starts. Brigham has plenty of upside to bring to the table and maybe because he’s yet to show it his ownership will be depressed.
SPOdrisamer DespaigneKTWC. Kelly (R)$8,300
Despaigne has been extremely consistent during the early stages of his KBO tenure allowing three earned runs or less, 9.5 K/9, 2.65 ERA and a sparkly 1.99 FIP. He has a tough match-up against fellow foreigner Casey Kelly, but Kelly has already blown up once this season and Despaigne has not. He’s actually an underdog in this one despite his team sporting the best offense in the league to this point of the season. I like Despaigne as the underdog here.
SPYoung Gyu KimNCDW. Saupold (R)$5,500
The one thing we know about Kim isn’t actually about Kim. It’s that the team he pitches for is an elite offense that will give him the support he needs. Although he doesn’t have a win yet, NC has averaged five runs per game during his starts. He’s been good in those games as well pitching to a 3.27 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 7.4 K/9. The one issue I’m running into is the depressed BABIP and high FIP. Lets get lucky for one more start, yeah? I won’t fail to mention Kim is a -152 favorite here as well.

CEui Ji YangNCDW. Saupold (R)$5,100
Maybe because he’s not hitting .360 he’s not being talked about enough,m but he’s casually hitting .311 with a .919 OPS this season. Unfortunately we’re paying a premium for him in DFS and he’s only driven in 10 runs and has just one HR. The positive is that over the last 10 games he’s slashed .353/.439/.588.
CDong Won ParkKIWK. Noh (R)$3,900
The strong hitting catcher is in a groove right now driving in seven runs over his previous three starts. He’s now risen his average to .326 and has a robust .983 OPS to boot. There is always the chance he moves to the bench in favor of Ji Young Lee as they are in a timeshare, but with the way Park is swinging it, Kiwoom would be hard pressed to do so. Lee is viable if he is in fact starting Friday.
1B/OFBaek Ho KangKTWC. Kelly (R)$5,700
Opposing pitcher Casey Kelly may have come away unscatched last time out, left-handed batters have gotten to him hitting .381 this season. Kang is as good as the KBO has to offer from the left-side of the plate as he’s second in the league with five home runs and has .737 SLG. He hits for power, average and reaches base at an elite level as well.
1BRoberto RamosLGO. Despaigne (R)$3,300
Wow, I can’t even believe the insane price bump Ramos got! How are we ever going to afford him going from 3.1K on Thursday to 3.3K on Friday? The league leader in HR is going up against an SP that gave up 2.0 HR/9 in 13 major league innings last year. Different leagues, but Ramos has nearly 500 minor league games under his belt.
1BJamie RomakSKH. Yang (L)$5,800
I’m not going to toot my own horn that much here, but last time Romak saw a left-hander, I called the shot. We get another opportunity against a southpaw and he’s hitting .364 against them this season. Romak is starting to turn it on notching hits in 7-of-8 games and hitting both of his homers in his last six. Wouldn’t surprise me if he left the yard here.
1B/2BKeon Chang SeoKIWK. Noh (R)$3,200
We keep hearing that the power from Seo is actually a fluke and yet he keeps giving us extra-base hits as he’s up to five through 15 games this season. The Kiwoom leadoff man has also swiped four bags and if he can keep his OBP around the .364 mark it’s at, he’ll continue to get all the opportunity in the world to run.
1BByoungho ParkKIWK. Noh (R)$4,800
He has let us down tremendously and I will be the first to admit it, but this is one of the KBO’s most prolific power hitters in their history and he has gone 11 straight without a bomb. LOT starter Kyung Eun Noh allowed 18 bombs last season and the previous three seasons in which he amassed 94+ IP, he allowed 10+ HR. Maybe I’m fishing, but maybe…
1B/2BJose FernandezDOOB. Lively (R)$6,400
I mean we’re 14 games into the season and Fernandez still bolsters a .458 batting average. He had three more hits on Thursday which gives him six multi-hit games over his last 10. He has just two homers, but he gets the split advantage against Ben Lively who’s already allowed three big fly’s in two starts this season.
2BKyung Soo ParkKTWC. Kelly (R)$3,500
For five straight seasons, Park has 20+ doubles, 10+ home runs, 65+ runs batted in. He’s a lefty, which I profile in Baek Ho Kang’s write-up, and we like using LHH against Casey Kelly. Park hits sixth in the league’s best offense to date.

3B/SSChan Ho ParkKIA?$4,500
Look, Park has limited upside because he’s not a big time power threat, but in his first full season in 2020 he stole 39 bags. We love to see his OBP at .343 -- a career-high -- because he stole those 39 bags barely reaching base 30% of the time! Also, with the way Preston Tucker is swinging the bat, Park could chip in two or three runs scored at the drop of a dime. Worth the risk in a team stack.

SSSun Bin KimKIA?$4,200
He is not going to wow anyone at the plate, but he has a very good approach and reaches base quite a bit. He's hit .292 or better and notched a .360+ OBP in each of the last three seasons and is well on his way again this year. KIA is one of the top stacks on the board and mixing in their two hitter with a potential at multiple hits and runs scored is ideal.
OFJung Hoo LeeKIWK. Noh (R)$4,200
Talk about a model of consistency here. Lee had another two hits on Thursday as he extended his hitting streak to seven games. He’s driven in six runs over his last four games and has scored double-figure DK points in each of those contests as well. He has the split advantage here and is against a pitcher that allowed 45 XBH last year and has already given up six across two starts in 2020. Lee will live in the gaps tonight.
OFAaron AltherrNCDW. Saupold (R)$5,500
The interesting part is that Altherr strikes out a ton but Saupold doesn’t miss many bats as he sits with a 4.5 K/9 thus far. Altherr went DEEP on Thursday and also chipped in with a double and three RBI. Something’s gotta give here and my bet is Altherr winning the battle more often than he loses it.
OFPreston TuckerKIA?$6,200
The SK projected start for this game is Joo Han Kim, who’s made three appearances this year and has thrown just one inning, but has a 45.00 ERA. He just pitched two days ago so it’s going to be a bullpen game for SK for certain. That means arguably the league’s best hitter could FEAST from start to finish. Try jamming Tucker into all your cash game lineups.

OFYon Ho JoKTWC. Kelly (R)$2,500
Maybe the best value of the day resides on the Wiz as Jo is only 2.5K. He didn’t start the year as a regular, but he’s 15-for26 (.577 AVG) this year and has an insane 1.364 OPS. He’s slotting into the three-hole in the KT lineup that currently ranks first or second in every statistical offensive category you can come up with.
OFJa Wook KooSAMM. Lee (R)$4,500
Outside of 2019 where the ball was dead, Koo has been a stud at the dish, hitting .310 or better with a .900+ OPS in each season since he was a rookie back in 2015. He hits third for the Samsung offense and he’s a dual threat because not only has he hit double-figure home runs every year of his career, but he’s stolen 10+ bases each campaign as well. He’s off and running again this year with three steals already, but this is a spot where power is in play considering the three bombs Lee has given up.
OFDong Yeop KimSAMY. Lee (R)$2,800
After an injury-riddled ‘19 that saw Kim play just 60 games, he’s had a decent start to this season but we want to see more in the power department. He hit 49 homers in 2017-’18 and drove in 70+ RBI in each of those campaigns as well. He’s hitting second in the Samsung lineup and is DH’ing on a nightly basis, so all he has to focus on is the dish. He could be sneaky here.

We're really not sure if SK is going to use Joo Han Kim as their starter, but he has a 45.00 ERA in three appearances this year, so is that the best course of action? He's also not stretched out at all, so it seems very likely this is a bullpen day for SK. KIA's offense, behind Preston Tucker, are -215 favorites in a very solid 9.5 game total. Depending on what site you're using, the O/U you're looking at might even read 10.5.

The Kiwoom offense is clicking right now scoring nine or more runs in three-of-four games and get a pitcher that can be tagged. Kyung Eun Noh has given up six extra-base hits in two starts a year after giving up 45 XBH (18 HR) in a dead ball league. Another dynamic to this offense is they lead the league in SB and with a RHP on the mound, they could increase that lead by a wide margain here.
