| Pitching for the best team in the league has its perks. Like run support, mostly. Lee’s squad put up five runs for him in his first start and that’s all he needed as he yielded just two runs over 6.1 innings. He’s the priciest pitcher on Wednesday’s slate, but if we’re going to get quality outings like we did in the first game, it’s hard to ignore. His first start of the year was not a fluke either, as Lee won 17 games last season while pitching to an impressive 3.64 ERA. | ||||

| At just 23-years young, Choi is developing into one of the better young pitchers in the KBO. He’s posted two straight seasons of sub-four earned run averages, has struck out 100 or more for three consecutive campaigns, and actually held the lowest FIP (3.21) on Kiwoom last season. He’s a massive -225 favorite for Wednesday’s slate as he faces a team hitting .198, lowest in the league thus far. | ||||

| Wright was really good in his first start of the season firing five innings allowing just two runs and striking out a whopping seven. If Wright can give us seven K’s per night, we’re in serious business. He matches up with KT Wiz who have just one win on the year and who he’s -140 favorites against. He’s the third-highest priced pitcher on the slab but it wouldn’t shock me to see him as the highest owned spend up of them all. | ||||

| In his first start, we saw Pinto sitting at the stone-cold minimum salary of $4,000. Well, he twirled a gem allowing just one run on three hits over 6.2 innings. Pinto is still only 26-years young and has shown strikeout upside in professional baseball averaging 7.0 K/9 across 32 MLB IP and 6.8 K/9 in 729.1 IP at the MiLB level. Those are dominant numbers if they translate to the KBO. He’s the favorite according to Vegas tonight. | ||||

| 2019 was Jang’s first year as a full-time starting pitcher so he had his ups and downs, but he ended the year allowing two or fewer runs in five of his final six starts. He then started 2020 off with a bang throwing six innings, allowing a bunch of base runners, but limiting the damage to just two runs while notching six punch outs. Dating back to last year, Jang has struck out six-plus opponents in six-of-seven starts. He has big-time upside at this price if he can limit the traffic on the basepaths. | ||||

| This man cannot be stopped right now. He had two more hits on Tuesday giving him five games with two-plus hits and is riding a nice six-game hitting streak to start the campaign. He leads the league with a .577 average and now gets a juicy match-up against a guy coming off a 4-11 season while posting a 1.6 WHIP, 4.97 FIP, and 10 HR in 97 innings. Fernandez could have another field day here. | ||||

| Kim has driven in a run in all six games this season and has a home run and four RBI in back-to-back outings. He hit just 15 HR last year with the ball geared towards the pitchers, but there are rumors swirling that the ball is juiced again, which is when we saw Kim go yard 35+ times for three straight seasons. Doosan has one of the best match-ups on the board. | ||||

| If you haven’t noticed, Doosan is a favorite of mine tonight, per usual. Oh is batting .385 with at least one hit and one run scored in every game this season. Oh is looking to post an OPS of .860 or greater for the sixth straight season and is off to a great start. | ||||

| The LG OF has a hit in all six games this year and has already driven in seven runs and notched a 1.212 OPS. He’s an extra-base hit machine as well, putting together four in six games. Kim led LG in OPS last year at .808 so this isn’t a fluke and we’ve also seen him have success at the major league level during a short stint in Baltimore | ||||

| Tucker has found a home in the KBO as he’s off to a white-hot start ranking second in the league in batting average, home runs and runs batted in. I really like Shi Hwan Jang as a value arm on this slate, but it’s hard to ignore the split advantage Tucker has and that Jang pitched to a 4.95 ERA and 1.64 WHIP last season. | ||||

| The Kiwoom three-hole hitter is off to a huge start hitting a smidge under .400 while notching two home runs, seven RBI and an OPS nearly touching 1.300. David Buchanan allowed seven base runners, five earned runs and a homer in his first start and has the disadvantage in the split against Lee. Lee could be in line for number three here. | ||||

| The Kiwoom leadoff man does not possess much power, but where he’s lacking in power he makes up in the speed category. He swiped 17 bags and had a combination of 26 doubles and triples in just 113 games last season. In every season he’s completed at least 100 games, he’s stolen at least 15 bags and although we are far removed from 2014, he had 48 stolen bases during that campaign. Chang is an excellent value who’s already attempted two steals this year, one being successful. | ||||

| Don’t let him get hot! Hoying, first and foremost, has a split advantage hitting from the left side and is facing a righty, but he’s getting hot posting two straight multi-hit outings. He has driven in three runs over his last two games as well and is also showing off his power belting a homer and a double over that span as well. Hoying has two straight campaigns of .800+ OPS. | ||||

| It’s another mispriced Hanwha Eagle that we should look to use as a one-off or in a stacking situation. Song clearly was impacted by the dead ball last year, but with the juiced baseball seemingly back in play, we’re looking at a player with .800+ OPS potential, like he did from 2016-’18. | ||||

| Although Lee isn’t off to a great start this season, he’s still slotting into the cleanup spot each and every game and this is a really good spot to pick on the KIA pitching staff. Min Woo Lee, Kia’s starter, had a 1.63 WHIP in 2019 and an abysmal 1.99 mark in ‘18. Lee had a .208 ISO last season and has belted 20+ homers in three consecutive seasons. He could hit his first bomb tonight at this steal of a price tag. | ||||

| Na is proving his doubters wrong early on this KBO campaign as he’s gotten off to a fast start, belting two homers and posting a .994 OPS. Na is someone who has aspirations to play in the MLB but suffered a gruesome injury last year that killed that dream for the time being. He has one of the best match-ups on the board as the Dino’s could continue their offensive onslaught to begin the season. | ||||

| It’s not often we’re considering paying 5K for a catcher, but when that catcher is Yang, we’re spending up. Yang led the KBO in batting average in 2019 and has started ‘20 hot batting .304 with an .838 OPS. William Cuevas, expected to improve upon his last start, yielded six earned in five innings in his season debut. Yang is a big game waiting to happen. | ||||

| The average Han has won’t stick considering he’s a career .277 hitter, but the power could as the ball seems to be juiced once again, which allowed him to belt 70 HR in a two-year span in 2017 & ‘18. SK is one of the premiere stacks on this slate considering LG Twins starter Chan Gyu Lim has a career 5.09 ERA and 1.58 WHIP. | ||||

| The speedy Jeong has hit leadoff on four separate occasions for SK and has Tuesday off, so expect him to be right back into the lineup on Wednesday. He’s already stolen a bag this year, but what’s been most impressive is the 1.200 OPS he’s posted thus far. SK is a sneaky stack on Wednesday’s slate. | ||||

| Although Yoon hasn’t gotten off to an ideal start, he had a pair of hits and drove in a run on Tuesday out of the two-hole in the order. We’re getting a top-of-the-order bat in an ideal match-up at a steal of a price tag. Yoon was a plus hitter before the dead ball and now that the ball is apparently juiced again, we could see him return to the player who hit double-figure home runs from 2014-’18. | ||||

| Park has not gotten off to a very good start this year but his capabilities of a base stealer is top notch. He stole 39 bags in 2019 which led the entire KBO by six. He doesn’t hit for a great average nor get on base on a ton, but if he reaches he’s going. It just is what it is. He’s pricey, but the upside of three stolen bases in the blink of an eye is worth it in tournaments. Not someone I’m using in cash, however. | ||||

They’re the defending champs and they’ve looked every bit the part as they’re 4-2 with the best team average (.341) in the league. Lotte Giants starter Jun Won Seo might have looked the part in his first outing, but he’s only 19 years old and is coming off a 4-11 season. Pound the Doosan hitters throughout all your lineups on Wednesday. | |||||

| Hop on board with the Eagles on Wednesday as they square up with Min Woo Lee. Lee has not had much success in the KBO posting a 5.43 ERA last year and a 7.17 mark the year prior. He allowed four earned over 5.2 IP in his first start this year but there was so much traffic on the basepaths all night long as he let eight runners reach. Current bets on the 8.5 O/U are favoring the over and I’m in total agreement there. Hanwha might put up eight themselves. | |||||

| There is no denying the SK offense has stumbled out of the gates, but they have a juicy match-up against LG Twins pitcher Chan Gyu Lim. Lim has given up the long ball a lot in recent years allowing double-figures in three straight seasons. That doesn’t seem significant since SK has only belted five out of the park in six games, but they had five guys hit 10+ last year including two guys in Romak and Jeong who belted 29 a piece. This is the game they get going offensively. | |||||
