FanDuel

Jarrett Culver , SF MIN -- $4,900

The Timberwolves have begun to really allow their younger players to develop as Culver’s now played 28-plus minutes in five straight games. In four of those games he’s gone for 30-plus FP and in five he’s poured in at least 10 actual points, up from his average of 8.9. This game has a fantastic 224 total and the TWolves have a solid 111.4 total themselves. Culver has played a majority of his floor time (57%) at shooting-guard this season and Portland has allowed the second most FP to opposing SG’s over the previous two weeks. We’re uncertain on the status of Karl-Anthony Towns , but we know that Culver has a strong 21.8-percent usage rate and averages .85 FP/min with him off of the floor.

Kyle O’Quinn, C PHI -- $4,100

We already have Joel Embiid ruled out, which means everyone likely flocks to KOQ, especially at this FanDuel price tag. In two of the last three games Embiid has sat out, O’Quinn has seen at least 25 minutes. In each of those games, he’s notched at least 10 rebounds and 28.5 FD points. We know he can fill up a box score FAST and with Embiid off of the floor this season, he averages an elite mark of 1.14 FP/min. We saw him start the last time Embiid sat out and that’ll likely be the case once again in this spot. He’s far more appealing at 4.1K on FD than he is at 4.9K on DK, that’s for sure.

Brandon Knight , PG CLE -- $3,700

Opportunity has presented itself for the former 20-point per game scorer and he’s taken full advantage of it. Kevin Porter Jr. will miss extended time and Dante Exum has also already been ruled out clearing out a path for Knight to once again see into the 20’s in minutes. Knight had season highs in minutes (24) and points (13) on Tuesday and that came against the Detroit Pistons…the team he squares up with tonight. Regardless of what position Knight checks in at from PG-to-SF, Detroit is 12th or worse in terms of DvP. He’s really cheap on FanDuel compared to what his price checks in at over on DraftKings.

DraftKings

Cedi Osman , SF/PF CLE -- $4,700

We mentioned it up above with Brandon Knight , but Kevin Porter Jr. and Dante Exum have both already been ruled out, when will lead to more run for other pieces in Cleveland. It shouldn’t come as any sort of surprise to see that Osman played 36 minutes in this same exact situation on Tuesday; against the same team. He’s now poured in 14-plus actual points in four-of-five games and in each of those games he’s given us at least 23 FP with a ceiling of 29, which surpasses 5X value no matter how you look at it. He’s been extremely volatile all season long so it’s hard to trust in cash games, but something that could be profitable in tournaments.

Svi Mykhailiuk , SG/SF DET -- $4,200

With all of the injuries to the Pistons wing players -- front court members even -- Mykhailiuk has been thrusted into big minutes on a nightly basis. Just over his last five games, he’s averaged 31.2 minutes. He really makes his mark from beyond the arc as he’s attempted 39 three’s over his last five games, hitting on an impressive 44-percent of them. Mykhailiuk isn’t afraid to shoot, that’s for sure, as he’s taken double-digit shots in four-of-five games. He’s been consistently over 20 FP hitting that mark in five straight and seven of his past eight. If some more shots fall, we could be looking at 30-point upside, which is a steal at his price.

Anfernee Simons , PG/SG POR -- $3,800

You look at Simons’ numbers from last game and you don’t think much of them, but there are two things quite interesting about them. First off, he played 30 minutes with a healthy C.J. McCollum and secondly he took 10 shots for the second consecutive game. Simons has scored 10-plus actual points in five of his last seven games and if he’s going to continue to play big minutes despite a healthy Trailblazers backcourt, he’s a viable GPP option at his sub 4K price tag. Let’s not ignore the fact that this is a pace up spot and Minnesota allows the fourth most FP to opposing shooting-guards, which he’ll be playing if/when he’s on the floor with either McCollum or Lillard.

Bonus

Nassir Little -- minimum salary on both DraftKings & FanDuel

This wouldn’t even be a consideration if Hassan Whiteside didn’t catch the bug that seemingly sweeps the NBA at least once a year. We’ve actually seen Little start three games this season, averaging 27.9 minutes, 7.7 points and 6.7 rebounds and with Skal Labissiere already injured, the Trailblazers have literally no frontcourt depth. Portland could be forced to throw Little into the mix for extended run and on a four-game slate, he’d be a must-play if we were to find out he’s in the starting lineup. Monitor the status of Whiteside up to roster lock, because this play is 100-percent contingent upon that.
