What’s up FANation? For Sunday’s slate, we have seven games to look at with rosters locking at 6:00 PM EST. As always, this article isn’t for plays ONLY under 5K, but players we feel are undervalued at their specific price on DraftKings and FanDuel. They can ultimately be all actual “value” plays, but they aren’t always. Let’s unlock the vault and get going!

DraftKings

Norman Powell , SG/SF TOR — $4,000

Kyle Lowry exited the Raptors last game and we found out he fractured his thumb, which will keep him off of the floor for an extended period of time. Enter Norman Powell who has always been a lift off of the Raptors bench, but could very well enter the starting lineup here. The Raptors already have another point-guard in Fred Van Vleet in their starting lineup, so they don’t need to replace Lowry in that spot. Powell started the second half in Lowry’s stead and ended up playing 29 minutes while scoring 18 actual and 25 DK points. Powell has already had a prominent role on this team averaging 24 MPG. The one position the Lakers have struggled against this year is the shooting-guard position ranking 24th in DvP.

Taj Gibson , PF/C NYK — $4,000

With Mitchell Robinson sitting out on Sunday, we should expect Gibson to enter the Knicks starting lineup for the second straight game. In his first start, he played 28 minutes and poured in 25 DK points, falling just two rebounds shy of a double-double. I like the potential for bonus points if Gibson were to notch a double-double. There is a very strong possibility of that happening today considering how much time he’s going to be doing battle with Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love under the rim. He’s being handed out to us for free, might as well take advantage of that.

Dario Saric , SF/PF — $4,700

It’s a contrarian play for sure, but let’s look into some reasons as to why Saric makes for a great GPP play. We’ve seen a ceiling game of nearly 50 points already this year and gets a tasty pace up game against Brooklyn. Brooklyn not only plays fast, but they rank 21st in DvP and 20th in DRtg. Saric is averaging 27 minutes and 24 FP/game this year and has a nice match-up against a smaller Brooklyn front-court. This has low ownership written all over it despite the facts Phoenix has 117.6 implied points, which is the highest mark of the slate.

*ADDED* Nerlens Noel , C — $4,000

Steven Adams has been ruled out, which means Nerlens Noel will enter the starting lineup. We've seen him start twice this year and really be a fantastic fantasy contributor averaging 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.5 blocks over 26.1 MPG. The Bucks have struggled against centers this year ranking 21st in the league according to DvP and this game is a massive pace up spot for OKC as well. He's going to be one of the chalkiest plays on the slate at this price, as he should. Eat this chalk up.

FanDuel

Raul Neto , PG PHI — $3,700

So the sites had two days to price Neto up and yet here we are, looking at Neto’s price tag $200 from the minimum salary on FanDuel. That’s a mistake. He not only is starting and has played 30 minutes in back-to-back games, but he’s been extremely productive scoring 25-plus FP in each game. Then we tie it all together with a bow and make it look pretty because he draws the freakin’ Hornets! The Hornets who are allowing the sixth most fantasy points per game. The Hornets that are 24th in DRtg.The Hornets playing the second leg of a back-to-back. What more could we want? Lock and load Neto in ALL formats.

Anfernee Simons , PG POR — $3,700

This play is contingent upon Rodney Hood sitting, but maybe it’s not in all reality. With Hood exiting Portland’s last game, Simons stepped up and played 36 huge minutes off of the bench. He took 14 shots, scored 15 actual points and notched nearly 27 FD points. Simons has been lightning in a bottle off of the Portland bench already this year pouring in 13 or more actual points in four straight games. With the scoring on the rise, the minutes have also followed suit. He could be a tournament play even if Hood plays, but if he sits, Simons is seemingly the guy you want over the likes of Kent Bazemore and Mario Hezonja .

Evan Fournier , SG ORL — $4,500

Fournier was too cheap the other day and once again, is too cheap. He’s only 4.5K on FD and is 1K more over on DK. This is an absolute STEAL. Fournier flashed his abilities last game notching 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists across 27 minutes. Fournier has averaged 25 FP/game this year and at 4.5K, that’s 6X value. He has a really strong 24-percent usage rate on the year and is slightly below one fantasy points per minute at 0.9. It’s not the best match-up, but it’s a price point play for sure.
