Jalen Brunson , DAL PG/SG -- $4,000

In somewhat of a surprising move, Rick Carlisle decided to start Jalen Brunson last game and that move paid dividends. He scored 14 points while shooting 55-percent from the floor and chipped in with eight rebounds and two assists as well. If Brunson starts again, it’s very rare to see a starting point-guard this cheap across the industry (only $4,400 on FanDuel) that is taking double-digit shot attempts every game, something Brunson has done. The Trailblazers -- the team he’s matching up with -- rank 21st against the position in the early going and we know Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum’s defense isn’t the first thing they’re concerned about. If Brunson approaches 30 minutes in this one again, he could smash value.

Jae Crowder , MEM SF/PF -- $4,400

At some point the Grizzlies will likely begin shopping Crowder or move him to the bench in favor of younger talent, but for now Crowder is a key cog in the operation. He’s played 30 and 31 minutes in each of his first two games and has scored 24.75 and 29.75 FP respectively. I don’t love the 18-percent usage rate, but he’s never been a big usage guy. I do, however, love the 0.95 FP/min he’s averaging. He’s contributing in the points department, has hit two-plus three’s in both games this year and has grabbed seven rebounds per contest. Brooklyn’s defense has allowed 118 points per game and Memphis should be able to exploit that.

Spencer Dinwiddie , BKN PG/SG -- $4,900

It was not surprising at all to see the Nets turn to Dinwiddie for nearly 30 minutes in their latest game against the Knicks after giving him just 19 minutes on opening night. With the extra minutes came the extra production as he scored 20 actual points and 32 DK points to boot. This is a great spot for Brooklyn as Memphis is tied for third in pace amongst all teams in the NBA. Not only is Memphis playing fast, but they’re 22nd in DvP versus point-guards and dead last against shooting-guards, which we’ll see him play when he’s on the floor with Kyrie Irving . The 1.12 FP/min and 32.2-percent USG he’s averaging trails only Irving in both categories.

FanDuel

Kendrick Nunn , MIA PG -- $4,900

How do you not continue to ride this wave? Jimmy Butler remains out for this game and the Heat are very content bringing Goran Dragic off of the bench, giving Nunn free range with the starting unit. The one thing we knew for certain when he entered the NBA Draft this year was that he can flat out score. He’s proved that to be 100-percent true averaging 21 PPG over his first two outings this year. What has also improved his FD stock -- although the price doesn’t speak to that -- is that fact he has two steals in each game. Minnesota has sucked against the point-guard position allowing nearly 70 FP/game against them, which puts Nunn even more in play. The pace of this game should be frantic considering we have the fastest and eighth fastest teams in the league.

Goran Dragic , MIA PG -- $5,900

The Heat are all far too cheap over on FanDuel and it’s something we should take advantage of considering the match-up with Minnesota. Through two games, Dragic leads Miami in USG (28.6) and FP/min (1.35) and now, like I mentioned above in Nunn’s write-up, the Timberwolves are having issues against point-guards. Dragic is dominating team’s second units considering he’s coming off of the bench and as long as this continues to be the case -- and while Butler remains out -- it’s hard to think he’ll slow down at all. At this price tag, Dragic is someone we can use in all formats.

Dwayne Bacon , SG CHA -- $5,400

We’re going to just chalk up the Hornets second game as a blowout loss and that’s why everyone’s production suffered, including Bacon’s. That said, there is no denying the volume Bacon is seeing right now. He’s taken 32 shots through two games and leads Charlotte in usage rate at 31.6-percent. It’s not the easiest match-up considering the Lakers can throw the likes of Danny Green , Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Avery Bradley at him, but at this price with the amount of offense that runs through him, he remains a solid play.

Bonus FanDuel Pick:

Rajon Rondo , LAL PG -- $4,500

We don’t know if he’s playing yet, but with the way he’s practiced fully multiple times this past week, we could be getting the return of Rondo here. If he does return, Frank Vogel made it abundantly clear that he’ll be the primary starter on most nights for the Lakers. If he does play and is in the starting lineup, it’s hard to beat the price tag he’s sitting at, along with a juicy match-up against a Hornets team ranking 29th in defensive rating.
