Gameplay Predictions

  • Jared Goff had five straight games with two touchdowns or more before his last game against the Lions.

  • Todd Gurley has four rushing touchdowns over his last three games and has three games with 100-plus yards over his last five.

  • Gurley’s caught three passes or more in six straight games and has only failed to reach that mark once this entire season.

  • Brandin Cooks has 30 targets over his last three contests.

  • Cooks has three 100-yard games over his last four.

  • Robert Woods has 67-plus yards in 11 straight games. He’s also scored a touchdown in back-to-back contests.

  • In three of the last four games Mitch Trubisky has played he’s thrown for 220 yards or less.

  • Tarik Cohen is coming off a monster 12 reception, 156 yard outing against the Giants last week.

  • Jordan Howard doesn’t have a game with more than 82 rushing yards this year. His 78 against the Giants was his third highest total of the season.

  • Allen Robinson has averaged north of 15 yards per catch in three of his last four games.

  • Anthony Miller has a touchdown in three of his last four games.

Pregame Props

1) The last non-kneeling, offensive play of the 1st Quarter is a running play (we'll leave this open until the 2:00 mark) YES 2.4 / NO 2.6

YES. Both the Rams and the Bears rank within the top-10 in rushing attempts in the entire league with the Rams at eighth and the Bears at 10th. With Trubisky missing the last two games and the Rams having arguably the league’s best running back, I’d say there is a good chance this happens.

2) T. Gurley (LAR) scores a TD in the 1st Quarter YES 2.7 / NO 2.1

NO. We have a really spicy 52.5 game total here and Gurley has 19 touchdowns on the year. That said, the Bears have only allowed two rushing and three receiving touchdowns to running backs this year. Gurley is a different breed, but the Bears defense is real.

3) Either team records a defensive or special teams TD in the 1st Quarter YES 5 / NO 1.5

NO. The Bears have a very good defense and anything is possible, but the chances of this happening are very slim. Taking the safe rout going no.

4) The first offensive play of the 1st Quarter is a rush of 4 or more yards YES 2.6 / NO 2.2

YES. Seeing how often these two teams run the ball and the success they have at doing so, I’m going yes here.

5) J. Goff (LAR) completes consecutive passes on the LAR opening drive 2.3/3.3

YES. One would think that a 66.4-percent completion percentage is good, but that ranks 19th in football. Still, he’s completing two out of every three passes he throws and my bet is he accomplishes this feat.

6) CHI gains 2 or more 1st downs on their opening drive YES 3.1 / NO 2.2

NO. The Bears offense might have to get back in sync with Mitch Trubisky who’s missed the last two games. It could take him a few drives to get back in the rhythm of things.
